The location and the park itself are amazing and beautiful, stunning. The nature, connection to and variety of nature is amazing. Gerroa and Seven Mile Beach is a very special area indeed. The cabin was really good for what it was. Nights were cool and the aircon heated the cabin up very fast in the morning. Good, massive double-headed shower fits 2 people, hot water came quickly. In all fairness, cabins cannot be expected to be luxury accommodation - ours had been renovated and was reasonably to very good. Overall a very worthwhile experience but with the minor drawbacks also listed. Very good value experience overall. Pools are gorgeous, but getting a bit cool in autumn, our daughter didn't stay in for long. Not sure if they are heated at all. Wifi and phone connectivity are flaky, to say the least. This caused some stress for me as I had a serious family matter to deal with from afar. Bring many forms of entertainment - or be forced to enjoy the beauty of your location instead, which is not a bad thing at all :) TV had 5 channels of Foxtel only, no news. No free to air TV in our cabin. Reception has a great, free, DVD collection and some books you can borrow. Minimal cutlery and almost nothing suitable for the on-balcony BBQ. We made do, the modern BBQ worked great. The beach and the river are great, the waves were surprisingly very gentle and small when we were there. Not very much in the way of cycle paths. Animal enclosures were lovely but also a little sad. Very peaceful with little noise in the school holiday period. Gerroa Fishermans Club and Berry Pub were good for dinners - book ahead. Limited options in the immediate area, there is also the Blue Swimmer Cafe at Gerroa, but check opening times.

The cabin was very comfortable and clean, the linen crisp. The location was very convenient with beautiful beaches. The river was very low though so fishing or kayaking wasn't an option on this occasion.

They charged me an extra $50 for my pet staying with us, although I mentioned that when I booked and the money had already been paid in full with Bookings.com. I said they did not stipulate that on bookings and they said, 'it's not there', it felt like it was just a way to make more money. I also told them the light for the bbq area wasn't working but they didn't come and fix it.

We went in winter, so would be unfair to mark points off for that. Will be amazing in summer. Love the fact our cabin had its own bbq. Right on the beach. Facilities were excellent (again more so in summer). The staff were so friendly. Great for kids. We will definitely be back in summer.

Not necessarily the properties fault, but there really is not a lot walking distance. So like takeaways, restaurants, pubs, etc.

The staff were amazing. The property was clean. The bathroom facilities were good, but needed more attention as they were not clean during the day.

Kids would ride scooters along the verandahs of the Shaks early. They weren’t supposed to be up there. Also, people speed through the park, which is very unsafe. There is also nowhere to park outside Shak 1, and parking is not clearly defined.

I liked that it was so central to crooked river that you could swim in or fish in, the water was warm and clear , just beautiful and close to the seven mile beach , the animals to look at and the location next to the pool was good . Cabin was wonderfully clean.

a bit pricey for what you are getting as in a bit tired a cabin, and kitchen facilities were a bit worn such as older saucepans and frypans, click down floorboards were coming up in kitchen , bathroom was great and updated, but for the price point these little things mean a lot to travellers.

Despite the pouring rain tent was water tight and warm enough. The bath was wonderful and toiletries appreciated. The park was quiet and I felt safe.The room rate was very reasonable.Too bad it rained so I couldn't use balcony and pool.

Only gripe was the narrow space in front of the bed.My poor leg is very bruised from banging it. A safety issue was the boom gate which was often up so anyone could drive in. The heavy rain stirred up the river and it was quite odorous... unavoidable though.

We had a cabin in front of the river with a nice view and a little green space in front of us.

It did get very crowded as our visit went on with a lot of cars and people jammed into the tent sites next to our cabin.

I was pleasantly surprised that even though we booked a cheap surf shack the beds were super comfortable. Everything was very clean and there was everything we needed. Appliances, cutlery, towel, toiletries etc.

Nothing though the tennis court could eventually be updated

I went away with my 8yr old and we stayed in the Safari tent. It was a great set up and we both thoroughly enjoyed the venue and accommodation. Easy to get around, suited what he required and a short drive to nearby attractions and shops/restaurants

The concept of the safari tent and sitting on the deck overlooking the river was very pleasant. The close proximity to the ocean,

The noise from tent 1, they had no consideration for others & due to having no solid walls the sound was unbearable through the night. This of course was not the fault of the park owners.
