The Hotel is very beautiful with really nice design touches throughout. Staff is friendly and professional and made us feel welcomed. All the food we had on the property was great but a special shout out needs to go to MAPA whose tasting menu delivered us one of our top 3 meals of all time. Seriously every single dish was a banger.

With this in mind we were very disappointed with the spa. When everything else is so great - the spa seems like it’s part of a different hotel in terms of quality and care. Whilst aesthetically designed quite well it practically doesn’t work as it needs to. Broken door locks, shower knobs missing handles, broken floors are minor compared to the fact that the Sauna could only reach 65C in the 2 days we were there and the steam room barely has any steam. The hotel said it was because people keep adjusting the temp from the remote from the outside which is possible but I find unlikely. Such a shame as this could be a really great place.

Our stay at this world-class wine estate in Portugal was unforgettable. The beautifully decorated, spacious rooms, complete with a skylight for stargazing, were a highlight. A delicious breakfast started each day, and we were delighted by a surprise room upgrade. The staff's exceptional hospitality and attention to detail exceeded our expectations. As a parting gift, we received a bottle of their wine and honey, a thoughtful touch that summed up their warmth. This estate is a must-visit for anyone seeking luxury, tranquility, and memorable experiences in Portugal.

The hotel delivers everything it promises. The location is outstandingly beautiful and peaceful. Every little spot seems o be perfectly designed to be comfortable and with a relaxing atmosphere. the pool and lake are great, inside pool as well. The breakfast is incredible with eggs and coffee to order and great selection of pastries, cheeses, fruits, honey, etc. We had dinner in the deck one night what was also great. The room is big and comfortable.

No big deals but 2 things: - No towel handlers in the bathroom; - We had to ask for soap reposition in the second night. Be aware that you'll be around 30 minutes from Evora. Montemor-o-novo is about 5 minutes drive and has plenty of services there (but no good restaurants or touristic points of view)

What a beautiful hotel, stunning location In Alentejo, really enjoyed our visit to the local town. The accommodation was superb, huge open style room and lounge area, huge bath! lovely shower, super comfy bed. We had a terrace and if you wanted your fire lit they would come and do that. Very nice complimentary bottle o wine in the room too with my name on it. Place was very quiet and peaceful.

Maybe if the hotel had a gym? but otherwise very nice hotel, highly recommend.

Architecturally a gem of a hotel. The room we stayed in was very spacious. Sleeping under the stars was a fine experience. The afternoon cheese and wine was a nice gesture. Dining on the restaurant's outdoor terrace was a delightful experience. Breakfast was top-notch with a sufficiently large and varied selection.

The small paddling pool on the terrace was unnecessary and not convenient. The hotel has been in business for several years and it shows some "laisser-aller" (wear and tear, sloppiness). That's not ok when you present yourself as as a 5 star hotel which is reflected in both accommodation and food & beverage prices.

Amazing place to have a retreat or a short offsite with your colleagues! The whole place, the villas, and the rooms were comfortable, spacious, and very beautiful. The room service was very nice - we asked for wine to be delivered to our villa and for the fireplace to be fired - and everything was done immediately. There is a beautiful lake and a huge pool outside and pools of decent size for every villa. Also, there is a SPA with a pool and different saunas. Make sure to book more than one night there to use all the services and offers!

The bed was too soft for my spine ;)

Peaceful comfortable setting in a vineyard. Great amenities like pool and free wine tasting every evening . The units are large and being able to have a wood fire pit every night is lovely.

The fact that although there are several Tesla charging stations there is one for other vehicles and that is only used by the owner of the place - silly. Also our travel partners had a unit next to someone ( who apparently owns their unit - the owner again?) and keeps 2 dogs that bark a lot at people and at night. The staff were sympathetic but helpless to address.

Service at the restaurant and bar could be more efficient, more attentive and more friendly, several times they took to long, and brought drinks much after food! And several seemed to struggle with both portuguese and english. construction noise, road noise, sales pitch over breakfast

Due to building works being carried out on the site combined with awful rain it was very muddy and difficult to use the paths and stairs to access main building

Everything was amazing, from the amenities, indoor pool, staff, breakfast. The villa that we stayed was modern and everything was well made. It's a high quality luxury hotel.

The only thing that needed improvement was having night lights on the path between the villas and the main building. I understand that the goal is to have as little light position as possible, but I had to use the phone flashlight to see the path. Other than that everything was amazing.
