What didn't I like? To say I LOVE this place would be an understatement! I had previously stayed at this location and enjoyed my time so much; I booked a room this time for a longer duration. Not only was my room clean, cozy and inviting, but it also afforded me the opportunity to get some much-needed peace and quiet to work on a project. Another favorite thing about this location? Access to a (mostly) full functioning kitchen! I say mostly because there was no oven in my studio room (326). I loved that I was able to prepare my own meals and didn't have to spend so much money eating out. NOTE: If I had wanted to make something in an oven, the "store," located within the laundry room, provides guests access to various appliances including a toaster oven! Okay so I save the best part for last; the absolute best part of this Sonesta? THE STAFF! Upon my arrival, I was warmly greeted and welcomed by Melissa. She is truly a joy, loves what she does and it shows! :) During my stay, I met Delaney, Amanda and Liz who were also friendly, kind and helpful. You simply couldn't ask for more gracious workers than these amazing ladies. Thank you SO MUCH for making my stay so incredible!

Last time I stayed, the washer and dryers were free of charge. Now it costs $3 per washer/dryer. The no cash means to pay was easy, but not expected.

Location and price of hotel is awesome! This was our second stay. Love that it is so pet friendly!

Was a little taken back and it may influence whether we stay again, the cost for a pet for one night is the same as for one week, which is a bit much! It was almost the entire cost of our stay, doubled! I don't mind paying that for a couple of days to a week, but $75 for one night is too much and I would definitely choose another location based on this if I am only going to be there for a night in the future.

I made a last minute reservation and I got a decent price. The room was safe, clean, and comfortable.

I was very appreciative of the hotel. I had unfortunately booked a nightmare from elm street hotel room for the night. I was in that nasty place for 10 minutes talking to my husband because I didn’t feel safe, and making a safe reservation.

1) All staff were exceptional! Everyone knew our names, greeted us with smiles, attentive to immediate needs, and made us feel like friends. 2) Room was well-appointed and had all conveniences of a studio apartment. 3) Laundry facility was complimentary and plentiful with machines. 4) Gym area was state of the art and better than many 4-star hotels we've stayed at. 5) Value was exceptional for a 12 night stay.

1) Although parking had a small fee, that was immediately waived without argument. 2) Bed was uncomfortable, even with an extra comforter and blanket placed under the fitted sheet. 3) Wife developed a skin rash on her lower left leg after the room was serviced 7 days in. Desk staff was attentive and noted that it may be attributed to their detergent used. 4) If a hotel desk employee is going to take a smoke break, please don't do so at the front entrance. That looked unprofessional. 5) Reported smell of weed on at least 3 occasions. Fortunately, staff was immediate to address the area impacted.

Very clean near to my job

The room above me there was too much noise and I complained about it first time nothing was done. Second time I didn’t sleep until 430 and I had to go to work at 7 AM then they decided to move me to next room.

We were there for graduation from Navy Boot Camp. Our rooms were comfortable, clean and the staff was welcoming. We were about a 20 minute drive to base but it was an easy drive. We enjoyed the town of Libertyville.

We had no complaints.

This hotel is clean with friendly staff & although we do not have any they welcome pets! ❤️ The room was excellent Clean kitchen clean floors Crisp linnen newer comfortable bed Several channels available plenty of cabinetry -closet.space drawers and the shower water pressure was perfect The 1 bedroom suite with pull out sofa bed was perfect for my son and I I would definitely recommend this location for any and all stays.

I didn't get to eat breakfast but the location was beautiful it was quiet peaceful I like the scenery

I was pleasantly surprised on my stay at the Libertyville location! Lobby was clean, employees were very friendly, rooms were very clean, hallways didn’t smell, shower had excellent water pressure, to name a few things. I would definitely stay here again!

Property is in a great location near both Libertyville and Mundelein, was comfortable and an excellent price for four days
