Great location in Vila Nova de Gaia looking over at Porto, surrounded by port cellars, chocolate museum/factory, and near the cable car. Very pleasant staff, great breakfast (and coffee!). The apartment was clean, functional and generally comfortable. The hob, microwave, and fridge were invaluable when travelling with a toddler, and the pull out sofa bed was ideal for her.

My only minor reservations were that a young child could potentially exit the apartment directly via elevator without a key. Secondly, and I think it's been alluded to before, the shower soaks the bathroom floor due to a malpositioned shower curtain. It's not a big deal but my daughter did take a hopper on it, she was fine (possibly even better off because of it).

Excellent duplex apartment for the 4 of us. A 1 minute walk to the river front and close to the Luís bridge to cross to the other side of Porto. Reasonably priced parking close-by, if you get the 24 hours or multi-day option on the parking's website. Breakfast was excellent and is served in the café just downstairs of the rooms. Very friendly staff throughout.

The overall vibe of the place is wonderful. Very easy going but also professional and well run. The location is perfect, tucked just out of the way to avoid the noises from the busy waterfront, but still close to many fabulous spots. The breakfast was excellent!! Even though we knew breakfast was included in our stay, we still asked for the bill because we couldn't believe there was no charge! The room was absolutely perfect and immaculately clean. We even had the cutest balcony with a river view! A perfect spot to enjoy a glass of port or a coffee from the downstairs cafe. The bathroom is great too, and has one of those rainfall showerheads that makes you not want to get out once you're in. The only thing I would say is maybe some more space in the bathroom to put toiletries would be good, but honestly this is a tiny nitpick. Thank you so much for giving us a superb stay and making us feel comfortable and welcome as well in love with the beautiful city of Porto!! We can't wait to come back some day.

Nothing. It was all perfect!

The location is absolutely perfect — just a one-minute walk to the river, with stunning views of the historic Porto town. The apartment was spotlessly clean, and the reception staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming.

There were no hooks or racks to dry the towels. The shower curtain didn’t fully cover the space to the floor, causing water to spill around the bathroom. There are no shelves to put the bath accessories. Ventilation was insufficient, so the bathroom remained constantly damp. It would be great if slippers were available upon request at no extra charge. Additionally, some basic kitchen essentials, such as salt, pepper, and oil, were missing, which are usually provided in apartments with the kitchen.

This hotel was definitely a hidden gem located amongst port cellars. We had an amazing stay here and everyone was very kind and helpful with us. The reception staff was more than understanding and flexible around our check in time allowing us to get the keys as soon earlier as the room was ready. Similarly, they accepted to hold our bags both at arrival and departure. The breakfast was also good. Overall the place was very clean. No surprises. Probably the best part about it was the location - under 2min to the river front and very short walk to all the port cellars. Would strongly recommend!

Nothing in particular that we disliked. Initially we thought a 4pm check in is quite late, but as mentioned above, the staff was very understanding and kindly allowed us to check in slightly earlier. In the end it worked out just perfect.

Everything was perfect) location is great, apartment is really comfortable and with the great view, we didn’t use kitchen much, but seems it had everything needed to cook and serve dinner On the first floor there is a cafe and breakfast is served there, breakfast is good paired with delicious coffee (especially if you’re lover of alternative coffee) What I would also mention is high level of service, Dino was hospitable and responsive, even found a hair conditioner for us 3 ladies)

The only thing to mention is the partially glass door to the bathroom, we were 3 girls, was a bit uncomfortable)

My wife and I travel quite a bit all around the world and I must say that this little gem was one of the great surprises that we have experienced. The facility is nice and rather modern and I could not be more thankful to Dino at the reception who was extremely helpful booking our additional days as well as giving his advice on every imaginable topic regarding Porto. The location is absolutely fantastic as it is literally just a few meters from the river with all the bars and restaurants and also walking distance to many attractions and points of interest.

The internet could be just a little bit faster but since we are on vacation that's a very minor gripe.

Very friendly reception staff working very hard to make the checkin process as quick and easy as possible & looked after bags on final day. Apartment was stylish & relatively spacious, modern and clean. The biggest selling point of the apartment is the cafe bar underneath - which is big and very chilled out. Located in the back streets behind a busier central area south of the river - it is both quiet and bustling. There always seems to be people frequenting but space available at one of the many tables inside and out. The breakfast provided is very good and order off menu (no buffet!). During the day we found ourselves spending time in the cafe bar as well as the food and drinks were great.

The bathroom set-up is a bit over modern - shower / toilet / basin share the same space and all (frosted) glass walled so not as private as normal bathroom.

Really convenient location for city centre, Ribeira and coffee!

It would have been helpful for the hours to be earlier, like 7:30 or 8 am start time. Ideally 7 am even.

The AC in the bedroom made loud vibrating/rumbling noises. These were about once every 1-2 minutes for the entire time that it was on. This made it difficult to sleep. It should be checked out and fixed. The shower curtain was also too short and water flooded the floor each time the shower was used. The slippery floor could be dangerous. And each time you walk into the bathroom you get your feet wet. A squeegee would be helpful.
