Pet friendly, EXCELLENT BREAKFAST, Wonderful staff! Very clean, and having a framed map of the region as decor in the room was a wonderful idea - other hotels should follow suit! While there are no scenic views, the complex has pretty extensive grounds all on one level - no elevators. It is a short drive to the Acadia National Park entry and Bar Harbor, and there are a couple of restaurants nearby.

While the wonderful staff meant well by putting us next to the cute breakfast area, the side facing the road was a bit noisy, and people kept on taking the parking spot in front of our room because it was so close to the check-in - a major issue if one of your party members has walking issues. It did not prevent us from having a good time though, just a little more challenging.

Great location! We initially wanted to be in the middle of Bar Harbor, but after being in all that chaos, this is a superior choice. There is a free shuttle across the street that takes you downtown and then directly into Acadia National Park so you don't have to deal with parking or fighting the traffic. Great dining within walking distance. The property itself is clean and well-maintained, staff is delightful, and the continental breakfast was appreciated. Good pool, but also nice green spaces in back to pull up a chair and read. Would 100% come back!

The room was very nice and the front desk was friendly.

The breakfast was way below average. In the two days we were there, the juice machine wasn't filled. On the second day they had completely run out of food, no eggs, no sausage, no muffins or anything like it, The milk holder was broken. There was waffles with fake maple syrup in an area that makes maple syrup. The bread was sandwich bread, not real whole wheat or healthy bread. The oatmeal was like paste. While we were there the woman who was supposed to stock was sweeping the floor instead of restocking. Workers seemed more interested in having everything ready so they could walk out the door right at 9:30 instead of making sure the guests got what they needed.

Pleasant staff. Clean room. Very good breakfast. Great selection. Stayed on the last two days of the season. Didn’t know that until checkout.

Really didn’t know how to change channels on the tv. Instructions were provided but apparently I missed how. Many businesses in Bar Harbor had closed for the season or were getting ready to close. There were not many choices left to eat in town or in the area. Not the fault of Best Western. Barking dog several rooms down. I would not normally complain, but you asked.

Very clean and comfortable hotel, with a friendly staff. As a family of 4, we appreciated that the 2 beds on the room were Queen beds. The kids had a blast at the pool. The breakfast offered a lot of options: eggs, sausages, oatmeal, fresh fruit, yogurt, coffee and tea, juice, different kinds of bread, fresh waffles, muffins, to a of cereals, and more. We had room 426 and it a was ideally located, close to the breakfast building and the laundry building and far from the road. You can park in front of your room.

I love the set up of all rooms, instead of everything in one building, rooms were spread out like cottages. Rooms and entire facility was well kept and clean, beds and pillows were comfortable, breakfast was excellent and staff at front desk and for breakfast were very friendly and professional. Overall great experience..

Bed was comfortable, linen fresh and bathrooms were clean. This itself made the stay good! Breakfast was decent.

The carpet had something sticky and wasn’t clean, but the staff sent someone to vacuum it, so appreciate the service. It is pricey for the quality, but, given the location, it is to be expected!

Everything was clean

The hotel said it would give certain amenities (popcorn & s mores) then when you ask them at the front desk the person said no & they can't count how many wash clothes to give when you ask for them. There is no room service like cleaning the room unless you stay more than 3 nights but at least give us the number of clean wash clothes we ask for. I say don't mention that on the brochure in the room if you are not going to give it. This is as honest you can get about this hotel. By no means I say this is a bad place to stay but I am just stating what happened & my experience there.

The room was terrific - just what I expected. The pool was heated, which was really nice as my kids very much enjoyed it.

While the breakfast was very good, it would've been nice to have had a little more variety as I stayed several days. Also, both the yogurt machine was not working (and the small refrigerator that could have stocked such items was empty).

The location was amazing and the staff was exceptional! I left my rings in the room and didn’t realize until I was two hours away. I had thrown them in the trash by accident. So I called and asked if they could look and try to find them. And they did! They are being mailed to me as we speak! Shout out to Mary who was just terrific. I would definitely stay here again.
