Lovely little room with kitchenette, right next to the beach. Very friendly lady on reception upgraded us to the sea front room and checked us in early. Not too far a stroll from Coconuts On The Beach restaurant/bar and to Fat Donkey ice cream shop (highly recommend) and Tiny Turtle restaurant (very highly recommend). Lovely little covered terrace area with picnic benches and swing seats. Fairly quiet location away from traffic and people noise.

There is a large pipe immediately in the beach (not sure whether it discharges into the sea?) so had to walk along the beach a bit to find a nice spot. Rooms are a little dated but didn't bother us. Air con was a bit noisy at night.

First of all, the location is amazing!! Anyone who knows Cocoa Beach knows that the beach isn't necessarily near where the hotel buildings stop. But this place is literally on the edge of the dunes!! You can easily walk from your room onto the beach to the bars and restaurants- leave your car in the (free) parking lot and leave the world behind! There's a short but amazing path from the spacious outdoor pavilions (with multiple grills) through the dunes which are the only thing that separates the property from the water. Not to mention, if you walk south you will be at Coconuts on the Beach with a drink in your hand in less than 10 minutes- and multiple great spots are all within a block or two from there. You can see the rocket launch pads from the beach too!

This is not a new "chain" hotel...it is older and has a bit of a retro vibe. While the decor is not exactly "modern" and there is no pool, that's not what I wanted anyway (chain hotels lack character and feel like corporate sleep cafeterias). Here you connect with the location- this is and always has been a beach town. It's why you come here (note- most businesses close a little early so don't spend too long at the beach if you're going out). I did however have an issue with my room. I had a later check in and although the office was almost closing, Jasmin really went above-ane-beyond to make it right! Point being, this is the best place you can stay if you want to experience all the very best of downtown Cocoa Beach -enpbasis on the beach!

I loved the location and the staff. The hotel was built in the 50's, so it has a retro vibe. It's not spotless, but somehow that's part of the charm. I really loved staying there. It's right on the ocean. The dunes and beach are gorgeous. There are plenty of places to relax outside, including a covered picnic area. There are wonderful restaurants nearby, even in walking distance. There are nearby churches if you'd like to go on the weekend. This place is a gem, and I hope to go back again someday and stay longer.

The bed was not super comfy, and the parking was a little limited, but not bad.

Location, location, location ! Only a few steps away from the beach, very kind crew, basic clean simple rooms, old Florida style, lots of great restaurants within walking distance so you can have fun without having to drive! Loved watching the sunrise right in front of us. Very quiet and peaceful part of Cocoa beach.

All lightbulbs are super bright, which is nice, but could use a soft bedside lamp for late evening and early morning.

We found it was very clean and the essentials were fine. All staff was very accommodating and friendly. Exceptionally clean, good beds, linens, pillows, well stocked with towels, toiletries, dishes, glassware, utensils, sink, cabinets, stove with oven, small fridge, air conditioner, outdoor tables, chairs, grills for use, sun umbrellas and quite quiet. Plus a private access to a great beach just 50 yards away. Good beach view too from the room. We saw two launches from the Space center practically outside our door. We're hope to get a better room next time we stay.

The room was very outdated and was not typical of most of the room pictures online. HOWEVER, with all the positives we decided to stay and hope to get a better room next time. time we go.

The location is simply AMAZING. Right on the beach behind a small sand dune. It's a historic motel which adds to the charm (but this also means that you shouldn't expect brand new appliances etc...). Also there is a very nice lawn space with tables benches, a place for grilling etc. I would definitely come here again! Too add to the value: the property is located within walking distance to plenty of bars/restaurants in downtown Cocoa Beach and is also an easy 30min drive to Kennedy Space Center.

The location was excellent. Not far from things but enough that you didnt feel the busy around you. There was a window that had a nice view. If we were not in the mood to walk down to the beach we sat in chairs right in front of our room. But it was only a short walk to the beach. Loved the swings on the property and it was very well maintained.

We stayed 2 nights and it was perfect for that. I don't know how it would be staying longer. We did not use the kitchen area at alll.

Felt like home, i read about alot of comments about the bed is not comfortable, but for me its one of the most comfortable i bed i ever had. Staff are so friendly, they always wear a smile and they love small talks. Value for money as well compared to most of the hotels in the area. Although its so simple but I feel the money that I paid is enough considering im sleeping in front of the beach area.

Could have a more decent parking lot

The perfect location to everything. You can walk to all the best food and entertainment in Cocoa Beach. This place is right on the beach. Very clean, comfortable, and the staff was so hospitable. The vibe was chill with a touch of southern charm. I will stay here every time I come back to Orlando. It is just a 40-minute ride to UCF, where my daughter goes to school. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The location was excellent: On the beach, next to some really great restaurants! The ocean view? Can't be beat! Also, the pavilion was really nice and comfortable. The only thing I missed was that they don't have a pool or hot tub, but I was only there for one night. It was an older facility, but is well maintained and clean. The rooms were a lot bigger than expected. Overall, a great stay.
