We stayed at the Pullman for two reasons: 1) my mum lives 5 houses down on Mitre St and 2) the lagoon pool !! The pool lived up to expectations... it was AMAZING!! The water was a warmer temperature than we would have liked, but that cannot be helped of course. Great pool bar - loved the Pina Coladas!! The sunbeds around the pool are fab, but they could do with more big umbrellas shading more of them... the direct summer sun is punishing! The apartment was nice, clean and comfortable. It would have been perfect had there been a second bathroom. When booking the accommodation through Booking.com we didn't think our apartment would be serviced, but it was serviced daily, which was a fabulous surprise! The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

The only thing that did not meet our expectations was the buffet breakfast. We were very excited about the full buffet brekkie each morning (pre-paid as part of our accommodation package) but the quality could have been better. It was the exact same offering each morning, and not a huge range, but that would have been ok if the food was cooked expertly. (The bacon was very dry, eggs over cooked etc, breads were a bit stale). The fruit was yumm, although a basic range. The hash browns were delicious, but over salted. A couple of different options over the few days and better quality cooking would have been great.

We had a garden view room on the pool which was fantastic. Rooms were well appointed and beds were comfortable. The kitchen facilities were great. The breakfast was varied with the daily option of an omelette very nice.

The coffee was average. Too milky and weak. It was also too bitter. That could be staff experience and/or not cleaning the machine appropriately. We along otherslso had to wait an hour for a pool bar order and when it did arrive was not the correct meal. Clearly there was an issue in the kitchen.

It was absolutely beautiful and the perfect place for a break away with the family. We had a 2 bedroom penthouse at the back of the property overlooking the rest of the resort. The patio area upstairs was perfect for a bbq at night and to just relax during the day or at the end of a day exploring. The penthouse had all equipment we could need for cooking our own meals. Housekeeping was discreet and room service fast. FOH staff efficient. Restaurant staff for breakfast were a bit hit and miss. Loved the water fountains to fill up my drink bottle with icy cold water

- there wasn’t a huge variety for breakfast it was the same good every morning give or take a swap out of tomatoes or beans. - it is the smallest first world problem but I wanted to have my drink bottle full of ice when we left breakfast so it would last the day and every time I asked for my water bottle to be filled with ice, it was incomprehensible what I was asking. - parking can be a bit of a nightmare as there are private units as well as hotel units and whilst the private ones are marked the hotel ones you can park anywhere so if someone parks close to your unit you have to find another and I ended up 3-4 unit blocks over.

the room was great, they are comfortable and have everything you would need. the pool in our room didn't get much use as my family preferred the big pool and having access to the pool bar. I loved having access to beach for my morning walks and the restaurant for a coffee or a drink also.

I think we should have been advised of the bike ride when booking our accommodation but that is not really your fault but it is disappointing when you need to leave 5 hours before you flight.

The bed was very nice, as was the bathroom and the toiletries. Breakfast was nice, but looked a little light on in terms of quantity. I enjoyed the Bircher Muesli, but felt like I could only take a small amount, as the bowl it was displayed ink was small to start with. The omelettes were great and very efficient way of ordering them. I enjoyed dinner in the restaurant one night, food was lovely thank you.

Access to the beautiful pool was a bit strange. Friends who were also staying had wonderful access to the pool, with a pool access room, I would book that next time.

We got an upgraded room and the room was excellent. The portacot was better than the cot provided at Sheraton Port Douglas. The breakfast buffet and pool were also very nice.

We requested an early check in when we booked in November. We arrived at hotel at 11.30am and had to ask a few times again for early check in. Only checked into room at 2.30pm. There is only 1 restaurant, so no other dining options for lunch and dinner.

Staff were super friendly and helpful. The Spa treatment with body scrub and massage was sensational as massage staff were technically very very good. The pool is brilliant, and access to the beach was easy with brilliant morning sunrise opportunities.

Trying to locate it was difficult as it's main access is through residential streets and signage needs to be bigger and more of it.

The pool was amazing. Loved the size and it was shallow at one end and deep at the opposite end. I also loved the kids area was seperate and had their own space to play.

I would have loved a few more pool lights, on the sides so it was more lit up at night and you could see the bottom. The beds were a little soft for me.

Huge property with lots of lovely palm trees that made it feel very tropical. Lovely food at the Aluco restaurant, the buffet breakfast was delicious. The pool area was huge. We had a golf view room and wasn't as close to the pool as I would have liked. The room was nice, a small shower but huge jetted bath tub which was great. I enjoyed a massage at the spa. Staff were accommodating, they let us use the pool after checkout. Great shuttle service in Port Douglas that will pick you up from your accommodation and drop you into town and vice versa for $7 / person one way.

No other restaurants in walking distance, but the shuttle was very easy to get around.

5 star all the way ! Beautiful spacious appartments with private plunge pool. Amazing resort pool Friendly helpful staff make you feel very spoilt Quiet location beach access. Will definitely come back

Nothing really, the breakfast buffet could have had more choices not really up to a 5 star buffet standard compared to similar resorts
