I'm not a beach, golf, aircon or resort type person, normally. I had all these things here plus a lagoon pool. Gorgeous gardens. Brand new owners who went out of their way to ensure I enjoyed my stay including giving me a lift to work. There are no ubers in Douglas Shire. Don't let the app fool you.

I liked it all. This is more like a little village than a resort, with terrace houses and a cosy, home away from home feel. I loved leaving the louvre windows open and that it was only a door to door shuttle bus to Macrossan Street. The TV was brand new, the apartment was spacious and it came with everything I needed.

Everything about this resort shouts “the best holiday”! We loved our 1 bedroom apartment so much we have rebooked for next year! The new Managers go out of their way to keep this place in excellent condition. The gardens are beautiful and the pool/s are fabulous. So clean and two of them are heated. Bed was very comfortable and apartment was very clean. It is out of town so you do need a car but that’s ok as it’s not as busy and it’s so quiet! The birds are just amazing at night and early morning. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this lovely relaxing place. See you next year Rod & Therese!

The pool was awesome! We stayed at an apartment so it was like one big living room, kitchen full with utensils, a bathroom with washing machine and a dryer and our bedroom. It was 10 seconds to the pool. Also, staff was very helpful and nice.

if you don’t have a car, it’s a bit a difficult to reach to the hotel and it’s not very close to the city center. There was no catering option so either you have to cook in the apartment or eat outside all the time.

Our family of five enjoyed our stay here. The house was clean and there was space for everyone. Nice quiet spot only a few minutes from Port Douglas.

Only minor issues was no dish towels or sponges provided. They require dishes to be done before departure (which is fine...we are happy to do this for a self catering experience), but this is first place we have stayed that didn't provide towels/sponges to be able to wash any pots/pans used.

Really enjoyed the stay at Paradise Link Resorts, the staff were very friendly, it was easy to find and I liked the added security of parking behind gates in what felt like a little community. The room met expectations and everything functioned as expected. The shower had great pressure. The pool facilities were also good. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Port Douglas and not be so close to the centre of the town.

Nothing to add. Location is a bit away from the town centre but a very short car ride and to be honest, we were thankful for the peace.

Stunning pool and gardens, it felt like a slice of paradise. The one-bedroom apartment I had was beautiful and very spacious. Very quiet (apart from the bats at night but you get that anywhere in QLD). Loved my stay here.

You’ll need your own transport to get to town as it’s a ten-minute drive and there aren’t any Ubers in the area. There might be a shuttle service but I just drove myself - no big deal.

Balcony and pool and great value for money! Also right on the golf course if you want to play golf.

It was a car journey to the main restaurant area and patrolled beach, we had a car so it was not a real problem, there is also a shuttle service for a fee I’m told. This was the only downside, which we knew about beforehand. I would stay here again though. I could not check in until after 3pm as they were busy that day they said, which was not great as I had arrived at the hotel at 1pm when I arrived in the room at 3.30pm the floor was still wet so they had only just cleaned the room, even though I had advised reception at 1pm I had arrived, I just wanted to get into the lovely pool! Room could be noisy when occupants next door came and went as it can be converted into a double room apartment.

The resort presentation upon arrival was more than i had expected from looking through the photos on booking, Easy drive through check in with friendly reception staff. The gardens were maintained and lovely. The parking and access to the villas was even better, allowing for easy access to unpack the car. Automatic gates and code to access and leave the facility, adding extra security. The property was quiet, and the room was clean and the spa bath was a Suprise. highly reccomend.

The pool area was lovely and we often saw the Ulysses butterflies there 🦋. The bbq’s were spotless. The apartments are roomy and the bed very comfortable. The new managers are very friendly and are working tirelessly to improve the gardens. We have stayed here a few times before and have always enjoyed it.

The apartment we had this time was next to the road and was a little bit noisy.

The rooms were beautiful and very well set up with everything you could want, even glad wrap and foil! Great swimming pools, BBQ facilities and even tennis and basketball if you are keen. Walking distance to golf course for breakfast or lunch. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. The only thing that would have been a bonus is a shade sail over part of the main pool.
