Loved the bathroom and its high quality bathtub, toilet, basin...and amenities, Kevin Murphy! Love them too!!! 😍 Dyson hair dryer...the best! Hooded 'Cardy' Bathrobes...perfect on a cold night! 💕 Room 304 - Loved the room set-up with its 'comfy' bed and subtle lighting; a lovely 'lined' wardrobe with 'a safe' sensibly placed in the lowest drawer in there! A leather day bed with a table and leather armchair, nicely placed in the corner too! 😍 A great 'mini bar' is also provided, however, it's not so mini! It is supplied with Four Pillar Gin and other high quality spirits, cocktail mixes, champagne and other drinks!! Perfect for a nightcap!!! A Nespresso coffee machine, coffee capsules, T2 tea and snacks are also provided! 🙂 QT has thought of everything and I mean...everything!!! Two soft, extra blankets are also supplied in the wardrobe, together with an umbrella, ironing table, iron and luggage stand. 😉 To top it all off...QT has the best guest services staff and in every department; reception, room service and concierge! All staff were friendly, obliging and extremely helpful. Thank You!!! 🙏 Room Service - Food was well-presented and delicious...all served in a large black QT box. Again, another quirky idea to keep food warm, however, it was appreciated...as once finished, dishes were hidden/placed in it, out of sight! 😉 Fortunately, I have stayed at many beautiful hotels in Australia..and QT Melbourne ranks equal first with another hotel! The only, tiny dislike was the position of my room (Room 304)! It faced Russell Street, so a little noisy! However, due to all the 'likes' of QT as previously mentioned, I can forgive this small 'negative' point. Cheers...🙂😉

The location of this property was perfect for us as it was close to the top end of town where we had a dinner booking. The rooms are coll and comfortable and well priced compared to other high end properties in Melbourne CBD.

You get sent a link to check in, in advance which I did but this saved you no time as check in still to ages and the person who helped me at check in had a really hard time finding my booking and then took my card to process the hold. I found very little point in checking in in advance. The rooftop bar was also ridiculously priced. I paid $20 for mocktail and it was so average and the waiter had no idea how to make it. I would give it a miss.

Everything is at your fingertips at the QT. Great location, comfortable accomodation, friendly, helpful staff and a great vibe. You are right in the centre of things in Melbourne, you can walk to the theatre, shopping, great restaurants or just relax at the rooftop bar.

A huge thank you to the staff for relocating our room due to the rail link construction noise. The corner room was lovely, great views and very comfortable. Hopefully the inconvenience will end soon. The staff were very accomodating and we were moved in minutes. Greatly appreciated.

My curious object was in the Curious Currencies book which was on the table, and I have subsequently bought. I absolutely love QT - Melb (room) was actually nicer than Sydney in my opinion, as it is lighter and feels more spacious. I just adore this hotel group’s vibe and will absolutely return. Booking dot Com priced this well, even as a member QT themselves couldn’t have beaten this for a Level 2 customer. Thanks again QT, I felt so treated. Plus I’ve gone and ordered myself three different large size Kevin Murphy hair products which should beat me back home / so great this line, my hair loves QT too

The price of room service food. I couldn’t justify it when there are amazing eateries right outside the door - even though I wanted to….

Surprisingly spacious room. Comfy and large bed and pillows. Good couch area to sit for meals. Location was excellent for walking everywhere in the CBD or getting a tram. Great range of movies available on the TV for downtime. Very good room service. The breakfast place was cosy and had decent food. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The whole place has a fun vibe and adds to the Melbourne experience.

I don't think the nude pictures on the keycards and plastered all over the walls of the common bathroom were at all necessary. They were done in an artistic way but I'd prefer not having to see that, edginess could be added in a different way! The fridge was very small and didn't feel very cold. There was no microwave. I guess most people travel with someone they love and trust, but in case you don't, there's no lock on the toilet or shower and it's not possible to close the door on both at the same time. Didn't bother us, just something to note.

So friendly and such a welcoming laid back vibe and so different from the other traditional 5 star hotels. Rooms were amazing and give you a wow factor. Love the smell when you walk in (I noticed candle aroma straight away). Staff really like their jobs and you can tell. Great spots to sit and watch in comfy chairs. Rooftop bar great but the downstairs bar is really cosy. Doormen go out of their way to help. Loved seeing a dog downstairs and good to know there are select rooms they can stay in. Beds were super comfortable with really comfy pillows.

There really isnt much to criticise QT does it so well and its very slick. Just some small points for feedback: Construction work across the road wakes you up each day but not much the hotel can do about that - for info only. Bar on level 1 closes too early (before 10pm which is really surprising for those that want to have a quiet late night drink) and we were forced to go elsewhere. Minor point - No kettle in room to make a hot hot cup of tea but of course there is the coffee machine which just does make the water hot enough for tea lovers. $70 parking per night is pretty steep and I think this should be reduced for guests (we paid $210 for 3 nights)

Excellent location, helpful staff, very comfortable room, funky vibe, such good quality in the furnishings - I even liked the piped music in the lifts!

Great rooftop bar although it is rammed at the weekend as it’s a bit of a destination bar. So the lobby can be a bit busy with squealing girls in sparkly dresses wearing throat-choking perfume but the doorman was good at spotting hotel guests and sending them up in a separate lift. So not really a problem at all.

This hotel is like no other when it comes to spoiling their guests. We stayed to celebrate my daughter's 13th birthday. Sarah, the hotel concierge (Director of Chaos) personally called me to check my daughter's likes, dislikes and interests prior to our arrival. She then decorated the room accordingly and provided gifts and treats with a personalised card. My daughter was so thrilled and so was I. I have 3 daughters and we have done the same for all of them and this level of service has been the same on each visit. Just incredible! The hotel is also in a great location, they were happy to oblige with late check out and super comfortable beds. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely nothing! It is a brilliant hotel that is truly focused on their guests.

The hotel is located in a great location, centre of the city, and considering there was a rooftop bar, the sound proofing is great in the room. Customer service was great and the room is really lovely inside and quite modern. Overall a great experience.

The floor in the bathroom wasn't clean. I had to clean up some spilt water on the floor and noticed the bathroom floor towel was dirty, as if it hadn't been moped in a long time. I do wish the bed were a little firmer but other than that, it was a great overnight stay.

I really love the location and style of the QT. Staff are generally amazing.

This is the third trip in a row where the rooftop bar was out of action due to private functions (2 of my 3 days!). The rooftop bar is such a draw card for me when choosing the QT so will start to consider other options. We even had to exit the Bar on L1 for another private function midway through our drink. So disappointing. I would also love for it to be open for lunch so you can sit up there during the day.
