Our room was clean and provided us with exactly what we needed. The room layout exceeded my expectations with two double beds in separate rooms when i was expecting a double and a couch pull out. The location is in a perfect spot with amazing food, activities, and nightlife all within a 10 minute walk. If i were to ever move to melbourne i would live in one of these rooms, it was absolutely perfect. The value for money is incredible and i would absolutely stay here again.

The location of the entrance was in a bit of a dodgy area so it was a bit scary to go down and collect food or to be waiting outside the apartment.

My daughter, grand-daughter and I really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect for us. We could easily walk to the National Gallery of Victoria and South bank in one direction, the Princess Theatre in another and on the day we left, we walked to the Skybus station. We enjoyed the range of restaurants around us. Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Korean and Indonesian were all close by. A Chinese grocer was close so we could buy fruit. The apartment was comfortable and had a feeling of total privacy in the middle of crowded China Town.

It was very noisy on Saturday night. A lot of happy party going people were having fun.

The location was good. Everything is only a short walk. The apartments were really nice and I like the combination of pincode and swipe card makes you feel safer. The fridge was big and a good kitchen. The shower was great as well. Beds were soft and comfy. Good size rooms and wall length mirrors.

Nothing wrong with the accommodation, just things to know, If using taxis/uber etc you have to choose a street at either end of the laneway as pick up. There is a night club a few buildings up. I slept through the sound, my other guest said it kept her up. But the accommodation supplies ear buds as well.

The lock box was very easy - better than a lot that are used at other properties. Key card for front door, lift and a code to enter your apartment. We felt very safe. The laneway does not have a street sign, which makes it a little hard to find. Search "The boiling Crab Melbourne CBD" which is in the same lane. We had no problem with noise. The beds were super comfortable. Staying in Chinatown was great and walking distance to the theatre. Easy tram ride from the skybus depot. we will stay again.

Fantastic location - not just close to the main shopping strips and surrounded by amazing restaurants, but also near some of the main tram lines which makes travel easy. It was just up from a bar, but as we stayed on Sunday/Monday nights it was pretty tame and closed up early. The rooms were spacious and clean with all the amenities. I also have to say that the pillows were really comfy, not those cheap flat ones you often find, and the beds were really soft. Good communication with the staff - they replied quickly to messages to sort out payment before arrival, and informed us that they would be away from the property for our arrival time, so provided clear instructions and photos to allow us to check in ourselves.

Honestly had no problems, our stay was great.

The apartment was brilliantly located to get around Melbourne right in the middle of the shopping district and walking distance to MCG, Yarra River precinct, Australian Open. The apartment was extremely clean 2 lovely size bedrooms, lounge, kitchenette and bathroom. Very clean and all the amenities needed.

No problems at all, we were told there could be some noise due to location. We stayed in the first week of the Australian Open very busy time and we had no problems at all. Loved this place and would come back again, hopefully we get the chance.

The location was outstanding! Beds were comfortable. Crockery, cutlery, tea, coffee, etc were all provided. Staff helped us carry our luggage down the stairs as the lift was not available.

The lift was not working. Globe in the lamp in the living room was very bright, a warmer globe would have been great in the lamp as the main lighting in the apartment was bright enough. Maybe having the cold water in the fridge put into a reusable bottle, it looked like the previous booking had left their water behind.

Location, cleanliness and facilities I love the place overall it was great.

1. The owner didn’t mentioned that it was located right on top of a club, so the weekend wad quite noisy. One of our members was a light sleeper, so she wasn’t very happy. 2. On the day we check out the lift was out of order. We need to carried all of our luggage down from the 5th floor. Although we acknowledged an unusual circumstance, still it’s not an easy feast to carry several luggage down the stairs 5 levels.

Location was fantastic, very cosy and great price for the quality. Nightclub next door was a little noisy but double glazed windows reduced the noise to almost nothing. Very helpful over the phone help when needed to locate the key safe for entry.

Access to key safe is quite physically tricky. It’s so tucked away, dark and has an annoying and pointless cover. You need 3 hands to open the key safe - 1 to hold a light so you can see inside the dark cupboard, one to hold up the unnecessary waterproof cover (Its in a sealed weatherproof cupboard already!) and one to punch in the code. An older person would NEVER manage it. There was another guest who arrived at the same time and all 5 of us could not find the key safe location initially. The instructions were good by not quite clear enough. It took a phone call and then 2 people to access the key safe. Phew.

The Town Apartments is located in a lane in the middle of Chinatown Melbourne City. It is walking distance to all the main shopping outlets, restaurants/bars, transport and sights. It was easy to check in late at night with a lock box conveniently located outside for late check in. The apartment is safe, secure with everything you need to have a comfortable stay. Beds were very comfy, great water pressure in shower/ ac in every room free Netflix and apt was clean and well presented... I would definitely stay again! 👍

It was a little noisy if you leave windows open but not a big deal ( they even had ear plugs to assist if night club is loud next door) :)we did struggle to find entry at night as Uber cannot go straight to door down narrow lane and not much signage.
