- Clean room, nice bathroom and big comfy bed - Very good location - we loved being close to lots of coffee places and only a short walk to parks and restaurants

Not very personal service, eg: - no acknowledgement from staff at check in about a fraudulent link shared through their booking.com account. We unfortunately lost money and they just said they are victims too rather than just acknowledging and having empathy - Mentioned it was our honeymoon when booking and no acknowledgement from staff on check in. Our room was quite high up though so perhaps that was selected for us

Our second stay here was great! The beds are so comfortable, rooms are small but cosy, ammenities are good, staff are friendly and the hotel is close to everything! We stayed here due to its ‘sound proof’ status which last time was great, however due to the position of our room this time, it was noisier.

Last time, we were in a room with an airlock corridor with just our room so it was very quiet. This time, there were 2 doors in the airlock and our neighbours were coming and going constantly slamming the door which is annoying when you are trying to sleep in or watch tv in the room. The recycling clanging from Pepe’s downstairs was loud too. Staff made up rooms, but didn’t refresh cups, teaspoons or coffee/tea. Had to ask reception for toilet paper.

The bed was very comfortable and cosy, the staff are nice and the room was very quiet. They also allowed us to change checkout for a small fee which was so appreciated. The location is also excellent, and there’s a few great cafes and restaurants right downstairs.

The room is definitely more compact and less bright than the photos (not much room for suitcases etc), but it was still appropriate for our needs. The main thing is that it wasn’t as clean as expected, the fridge was full of crumbs, there was hair on the bathroom floor, the grout/seals in the shower had significant mould on it which indicates more thorough cleaning is needed more often. This needs improvement, as it dampens the whole experience.

Great Room, got “upgraded” from a King Room to a “Juliet” Balcony room. Staff at Check in and Check out were amazing. Good location, little bit of a walk to the CBD but close enough to everything you need. Location is good with two small restaurants at/and across from the hotel and a cafe also across the hotel. Easy access from Southern Cross Station on the 30 & 35 Tram within the Free Tram Zone with a small/short walk from the Southern Cross Station to La Trobe St. Hop on the Tram (within the Free Zone) then get off at “Exhibition St Stop 8” and then a very short walk from the Stop to hotel

One little thing and really nothing major just the shower pressure wasn’t the most amazing, however did the job.

Our checkin was very smooth, we arrived a bit early and had our bags stored for us. Staff were very efficient. The location was reasonable, close to the Parliament train station and a short walk to trams. We went to a show at the Comedy Theatre and it was a very short walk. There were plenty of restaurants within a short walk. The curtains were good blockout ones

Despite being on the 19th floor we could still hear the occasional traffic/street noise. We stayed two nights and, although this was a minor issue, our tea/coffee/milk supplies were not replenished. The room was quite small.

The bed and pillows are very comfortable. The fridge in the cupboard meant it kept the motor noise to a minimum and the bedside tables have USB charging for phones. We were extremely relieved our room was ready earlier than 2pm as we had a show starting at 2. I had requested a 1pm check in on booking.com and rang in the morning to be told there were no promises but they would put our room as priority. Also worth noting, there is no microwave which is my fault from not checking the listing. The tv is a generous size which is refreshing.

The shower really needs a good scrub - red bacteria was seen in the grout and the shower screen hadn't been scrubbed down low. I don't believe it was mineral build up as you could see where the cleaning solution has run down. My husband leapt out of bed when the neighbours door slammed, so it was quite loud as we were sleeping.

Excellent location nearby to all the shopping areas - QV, Melbourne Central and beyond. It's near enough to the shopping area but far enough that it would be considered in a quiet area, without much disturbance at night. The room was modern, although on the smaller side but this would be normal in any big city. If you've got more than one big luggage, the room would be a bit of a squeeze. Shoutout to Carrie Lam for her excellent service, she was friendly, professional and efficient and gave a great welcome. The bed was very comfortable and the amenities provided were good quality as well. Restaurants and cafes line the same street where the hotel was located and there are even more food options within a 5 min radius.

It's a bit of a distance for those travelling from the airport via the SkyBus.

Clean comfortable room. Some great daytime cafes really close and not far from a good range of restaurants. We love walking in the city, so the distance (2 blocks) from tram routes was fine for us. We explored different parts of our well-known, well loved city. Exhibition Dome Promenade tour is well worth it!

Housekeeping was minimal - room not vacuumed during stay, bed tidied but not well made during stay (it was lovely on arrival). Some bottled water would have been appreciated as the tap water had a weird taste. But we would stay again.

Lovely modern renovation, very comfortable bed, soundproof roof, we got upgraded to a balcony room which was nice. Lovely toiletries and good shower pressure. Staff very helpful and friendly, gave us an extra hour check out at 11am for free and stored our luggage until 8pm at no charge.

Great stay, only slight negatives were the toilet ran a bit then didn’t flush until it had filled up again, could have been because of the plumbing needing to reach the 18th floor. Also the balcony was a good size but had no furniture so you couldn’t sit out there.

This hotel is in a fantastic location and the staff are really friendly. Everything you need is nearby including a gym, good food and transport. I always stay here for work and its a great experience. Highly recommend.

Beds could be a little more comfy but still very good. Would love a full size gym but understand its a small property. Still one of my favourite places to stay in Melb. The addition of recycling bins would also be good to see.
