We loved the historical aspect of the building The room was a delight inviting interesting and quiet The cafe staff and cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful

We initially found the door opening system stressful as we had no idea that was the only way to get into our room then when I went to download the app I couldn’t remember my password to access the download and my phone was running out of battery Then when we managed to install the app it would not open the front glass doors After a second panic call to the receptionist, who was very helpful, we learned that we could use the cafe door Also my husband does not have a iPhone so we had to do some juggling with accessing the room Some prior knowledge of this when booking would have been appreciated

I had a wonderful experience staying at this apartment. It was very easy to access, with the host providing clear, step-by-step instructions that made the check-in process smooth and hassle-free. The apartment was located in a lively neighbourhood, which added to the vibrant atmosphere of our stay. The apartment had all the basics we needed, from kitchen essentials to toiletries, making it very convenient. A lovely bonus was the pool, which would have been a great way to relax during our downtime if we had the time. I was particularly impressed with the host, who called us twice to make sure we received her email and had no issues with the check-in process. It was a thoughtful touch that showed she genuinely cared about our experience. Overall, I highly recommend this place. It was comfortable, well-located, had a lovely pool, and had excellent communication from the host. Would definitely stay here again!

While I really enjoyed my stay, I didn’t like how hot it got. There was a button on the wall for air conditioning, but I don’t think it was working, which made the apartment a bit uncomfortable at times.

Fantastic central city location within this complex of apartments which ensure security and privacy. Car parking was conveniently located just 3 mins walk away. The apartment was scrupulously clean and comfortable and we enjoyed the little extra decorative touches which made it homely along with the delightful coffee table books about inner Melbourne, its alleyways and hidden treasures to explore. After a big day we ordered take away dinner from Ho Chi Mama Restaurant (opposite the apartments) which was delicious. There are so many restaurant choices nearby - it’s a foodies heaven! The “Little Gordon” cafe within the complex was great for breakfast.

Cafe attached was a bonus, and the staff in there were friendly and accommodating. Room was comfortable. Property handily located - I have recommended it to a family member travelling to Melbourne soon. Nice TV. Couldnt work it unfortunately, but did watch quite a few episodes of 8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown :) Building was well set up and quite unique.

There were a few places that werent very clean (skirting boards and the like) some of the fixtures were wobbly (toilet roll holder and tap in the kitchen). I couldnt find a plug for the sink to do the dishes.

Amazing location and loads of character. Close to trains and trams. Great places to eat nearby and the places in Chinatown are open late! It’s a bit quirky, in a cool way, loved the pool and the big atrium, staff really friendly and helpful at the cafe

we had to contact reception as the app didn’t work (temporary issue with lock and so we had a code instead), they answered immediately and all sorted but could have let us know in advance

Beautiful older building with lots of character. Had everything we needed and more as l didn’t know l had booked an apartment. We were on the top floor but it had a good elevator. Very spacious apartment, heaps of room.

You have to put an app on your mobile to get a key link to get into the building and it didn’t work very well for me, lucky my husband’s did. Had a shower over the bath which may not be suitable for everyone.

Beautiful apartment. Loved the art. I couldnt enjoy it completely because I was busy with my work.I would definetly come back for this apartment. I didnt know we had complimentary breakfast. missed it. Just so artistic in the middle of the city. Mine was premium apartment, it was beyond my expectations

The property was beautiful. Very unique but very cool. The room was decorated excellently with a great and comfortably interior with all the facilities you could need!

Nothing! Location and building was fabulous. One thing we would say is alongside the great selection of appliances you provide, potentially some salt/pepper or oil for the kitchen would be amazing. As we didn’t want to have to purchase some just for a couple nights. But this was genuinely the only tiny thing we could say about it!

You couldn't be situated anymore central. Great spot to explore Melbourne. The building has lots of history , and very impressive.

My aircon didn't work, and you had to have the light on to get the ceiling fan to come on! Once I pointed this out, they gave me free breakfast for the rest of my stay, and their cafe is fantastic.

The Cafe was on the premises and the Manager was extremely helpful regarding the horrible digital key entry. He went out of his way to help us.

Didn't realise there was no elevator and as we are both 80 it was very difficult dragging our cases down and up to the basement. Also the lack of access to reception was not made clear when booking.
