love the location. The staff was very helpful and cheery!

We booked the basic room. We were given 5th floor which was ok, but what we didnt know that it had a frosted glass on the window effectively making it seemed "window less" which made me feel claustrophobic. So we requested for a room with a clear window (its ok if no view as long as the window is not blocked by frosted glass. We had to pay AUD20 per night for upgrade for a room with a window and it was the same size as the basic room we got.

My partner and I really liked the central location of Le Meridien, which made it convenient to walk to the corner of Bourke Street and Swanston Street. There are plenty of shops nearby, and it’s easy to get around, with a tram stop right in front of the hotel. Parliament Station is only a short walk away as well. The Deluxe room we stayed in was stylish, clean, and very comfortable, providing a relaxing atmosphere after a day out. The staff were welcoming and attentive, ensuring all our needs were met. We especially enjoyed the rooftop pool with its stunning city views, along with the bar food being served on time. My partner also received his complimentary surprise birthday cake and a bottle of red wine. We were very impressed with the overall experience and did not disappoint at all.

Location, cleanliness, modern facilities, most of the staff were very helpful and professional.

Some of the staff at reception had no idea about anything. Often when we'd ask which tram to catch they would send us in the opposite direction. I feel that staff working in those positions should be familiar with the basic vicinity around the hotel and transport within the CBD. Also, the $10 per day which you give people who opt out of servicing of rooms should not be subject to weekend surcharge. We had a quite unpleasant experience when we were told we had to pay surcharge on drinks we had ordered and after emptying our bags looking for change, your staff member insisted on us paying the last 5 cents! This after having spent over $1500 for accommodation.

1. The location — we stepped out of the hotel and the trams are there — right at our doorstep. Chinatown was a few meters away frorm Le Meridien. You walk out the other side of the hotel and you’re in Chinatown. The old parliament building was across the street. And there are several restaurants and coffee shops close by. 2. The manager and staff were extremely helpful, friendly, and always making sure we were comfortable and we had everything we needed. The manager attended to my needs — especially on checking things out. She went out of her way to assist me.

Nothing I didn’t like about the property.

I liked the comphy double beds and loved the roof shower head . Being able to screencast my Netflix onto the tv was good once I finally got the tv to connect properly.

The tv didn't want to connect to my screencast it kept freezing but eventually after about the 10th try it finally started playing my movie. The wake up alarm service kept going off and the volume would turn right up to 50 I would turn it down and it kept going back up which was annoying and tv was unresponsive to remote when I was trying to turn wake up service off. For the price I payed I would have appreciated a room with a view instead of a brick wall to look at. Body wash , shampoo conditioner in the shower wasn't checked during housekeeping as there was barely any body wash left for a shower. I would still stay again in the future but would expect a better view and room if possible.

My daughter and I had a detour on our way back from Japan due to Cyclone Alfred. I had stayed here previously with my husband and it was quite lovely so we booked again. Super comfy beds, like sleeping on a cloud. Much needed after a red eye flight and no sleep. Beautiful toiletries and we had a bath. Heaven.

We were a bit disappointed because a book a double room with two double beds. We ended up with one king bed and a fold out cot style bed. My daughter (18 yrs) ended up in bed with me. Would have been nice to be told. We did booked last minute so appreciate them accommodating us. We were both still comfortable so still ok at the end of the day.

Beautiful hotel have stayed a few times previously. Beautiful and comfortable rooms. Great staff. Good location.

Pool area - there was a wedding function on occurring on the lower part of the pool area. The guests over took the pool area, taking most chairs and with children bombing into the pool. Guests staying at the hotel and it was extremely expensive and hot on this weekend could not access the pool due to it being overtaken by the function guests. We approached staff to ask them to remove the function guests from the pool area - apparently this was not possible. Loud music over run with people impossible to use the pool as function guests were sitting on the pool edge blocking ladders. Not sure why a hotel would put a function area that blocks use of hotel facilities for paying guests - surely there’s a function room for that!

We had a lovely romantic getaway at Le Meridien and would happily return to the property. Highlights of our stay were: * The excellent proximity the property had to the Princess Theatre (where we were seeing a show); * The amazing roof top pool: clean, heated to a very comfortable temperature, beautiful views, loungers and fresh towels provided; * Dolly - the hotel bar. Staff here were very attentive and friendly and we had delicious, well-made cocktails at a great happy-hour price Our room was very clean and the rain-style shower head was lovely.

* The staff member who checked me in was a little dour - no welcoming smile, limited conversation. * The pillows were oversized which was great but they were really unwieldy to sleep on - the air compressed out of them quickly leaving you sleeping on not much at all. * The view from our room was limited / disappointing.

The hotel is gorgeous, and styled with great care and consideration. We stayed in a king parliament room and found it to be really spacious and had everything we needed. The bathroom was fantastic too. The hotel was clean, aesthetically pleasing, and the staff were wonderful. We ordered room service for breakfast and the food was delicious! We will absolutely be coming back :)

Loved absolutely everything! The only recommendation we would make would be for the pool to be a couple degrees warmer.
