Room was great. Staff were all excellent and friendly. Buffet breakfast was incredible. Pool was great and quiet. Super close to public transport.

We were disappointed that we weren't made aware that the parking garage charges different rates than the hotel. We arrived on a Saturday and the parking garage said the parking was about $13 a day but the hotel charged us at their full standard rate which was around $25 a day I think. I called when we checked out to follow up about this and they said that the parking garage can change their rates whenever they want and the hotel keeps it consistent and there was nothing they could do about it. We were annoyed we ended up paying more for parking than we could have, if we hadn't validated the parking, which seems backwards.

Staff member on arrival was very blunt and rude When asking me to pay a 200 per night holding I asked why that wasnt on the initial booking.com info hes rudly replied all hotels do it I said no they dont otherwise i would have known about it and not questioned it Asked for chocolates for vday on arrival and not wine . Ended up with wine in the room that i handed back on checkout Didnt really see the value in the place thought it would be nicer being the name Had to menulog basic drinks to our room . Only drinks we could order was a alcahol testing box

The location was great, round the corner from Parliament train station and two of the tram lines. All the staff were awesome, very helpful and friendly. We both had a massage which was lovely, and there's an awesome Japanese restaurant right next to the hotel.

We only had a double bed, which turned out to be too small when you're used to a king sized bed at home. The room was tidy, although a little tired. The pool was small - long and thin, more for swimming laps. It would have been nice to have a spa pool to relax in after a long day of walking... :)

Room: The room was spacious and clean, the bed very comfortable. Location: The location of the hotel is phantastic with most of CBD in walking distance and Tram station just opposite Staff: Superfriendly and efficient. Really great. Parking: Very attractive parking offer with multiple entries in the garage right opposite at 36 AUD per day (incl. overnight). That is the cheapest I could find in the entire CBD. Tip: Weekend charge is 10 AUD per day with rollover at 4am. Hence overnight parking is 20 AUD. So if only overnight parking, cheaper to discontinue the hotel ticket and pay directly at the garage (again, provided no multiple entries).

Shower: The shower design is not very effective. There is no cabin, but only a screen. At the same time the shower is at bathroom floor level. As a consequence the water runs out of the shower area. We needed to use towels to block the water from spilling onto the bathroom floor. Not a drama, but inconvenient. Breakfast: We only used it at the last day. It was ok, but as in all hotels, outpriced unless you really eat lavishly.

Excellent location, lots of good eateries nearby and very easy to shopping precinct by free tram. Friendly staff and flexible housekeeping with good communications. Bed and pillows were comfy.

Room and furniture were a bit worn out. I had to be extra careful of getting in and out of the bathtub as it was pretty slippery and need a big step. Paid extra to upgrade to city view room, however, half of the view was just an empty commercial building which is about 3 metres away. Aircon noise was noticeble but bearable.

We had a hiccup at the beginning when the room type we booked via booking.com was not allocated to us. Sai (staff) was fantastic in quickly arranging a new room - even offering an upgrade to a beautiful room, which we accepted. During the room change we mention to Sai that we were on our honeymoon. On our return to our room that night, we were delighted to find a desert and a bottle of sparkling wine had been left for us.

The chairs in the first floor lounge/bar were a bit smelly (cigarettes)

Room was great and probably one of the most comfortable beds I ever slept in a hotel. Chocolates on arrival and two little water bottles provided each day, perfect for taking along with outings. Room was very spacious and with a lovely bathroom. Even provided toothbrushes, hair-comb along with the usual stuff like soap, shampoo and body wash etc. Staff were all great too. Super friendly Reception and Kitchen staff.

Small miss was that the bathtub didn't have anything provided to put in it except the water. But ended up easily fixed as just bought some bath salt from Chemist Wearhouse nearby to use for the stay.

Location just steps away with everything. Breakfast is excellent. Staff is very friendly

Because we are deaf couple.and.we booked for city view room, the TV has no CC, they offer us.change to.another room and told us the room has CC.but still not working, then end of the day 3rd time changes room TV finally with CC.but not the point, I guess all 5 stars hotel should have all TV must include CC. I think this hotel is terrible organised for those deaf people Pillow does not suit me, repection kinda give me a spare pillow unfortunately does not help niether.

Great pool, gym and steam room. The bars had good atmosphere and not too 'hotelly'. Room was clean, spacious enough and beds were comfortable. Decor was contemporary. Staff were friendly and helpful. Complimentary umbrellas for guest use at the concierge desk were very helpful as it bucketed down with rain on a couple of days.

No pillow menu so stuck with really high pillows. The bathroom could have had a fresh paint to the ceiling. Servicing of the room was very late in the day 3pm. Could have had a mini bar and coffee machine. I'm being picky because it really was lovely.

Upgraded to a suite which was very nice. My third visit in a year with my son. We like the location in Melbourne as tram stop in Bourke St is short walk away as we use public transport during our stay. Will be back in July for an AFL game and will hopefully a room is available for us. And finally breakfast at the restaurant is fantastic.

We are happy with the service we get.
