The room was beautiful and we loved it, however it was booked with one double & 2 single beds but it was 2 double beds on arrival. Even though there was construction going on outside our window the noise didn't affect us in any way. For 4 people, could've had more tea bags coffee and milk. There was 3 teabags & 2 coffee straws. The hair conditioner bottle was empty, lucky we took our own! Beds were very comfortable, plenty of space for 4 adults to move around. Bathroom was perfect & everything was very clean. Overall, we loved the room & will definitely book again.

Construction noise next door through the day, but we were out most of the day. Not enough coffee/tea/milk. It was like this had not been restocked from previous booking.

I stayed at Punthill Manhattan recently and was pleasantly surprised by the chic New York-inspired vibe—it really has that industrial-luxe feel, with exposed brick walls and warehouse-style finishes that set a mood. The location is spot on, tucked right in the heart of the city near Parliament Station, The apartment itself was spacious and well-equipped, with a proper kitchen and lounge area that felt more like a loft than a hotel. Great for longer stays

However, a few things took away from the experience. The intercom wasn’t working, which meant having to physically go down every time someone arrived—not ideal, especially when you’re in the middle of getting ready. On top of that, there was loud construction happening next door during the day. Not the most peaceful environment if you’re trying to relax or work from the room.

The spacious unit, the comfortable bed and the location

I booked 6 months before I went. 5 days before the trip I received notice that there would be 2% added on the agreed price as a cost to pay the bill. I found this an appalling way to do business at such late notice. I was left no time to find another accommodation. There were 3 of us in 3 separate rooms,we have stayed there for 4/5 years in a row and will not be using this chain again. Having to climb into a bath to use the shower. The carpet lifting in the walkway(a trip hazard)

Conveniently located in the East end of Melbourne. Property has an arrangement with a Car Park across the street which was very good and just a couple of minutes walk. Can pay for your parking at the reception desk, which is discounted. The apartment was quite spacious and comfortable; older style on the ground floor but none the less comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.

The only down side was probably a king size bed in a small bedroom. Cosy and comfortable.

The hotel's location is about 5 mins walk from Parliament Station (exit via Collins Street). Easy to navigate with a map and the hotel has a sign at the entrance so you won't miss it. Parking is not included with the hotel, although there is an available parking across the street (about 1 min away). It's about 17 mins walk to some of the arenas, including Rod Laver and John Cain arena. There is a tram nearby that can take you to those venues, but beware that it's not frequent and can jam-packed full during peak hours (my friend and I couldn't get on the tram, so we decided to walk). I was assigned a 1st floor room and it was accessible by a lift/elevator (take note that I took the option with access to an elevator). The room was spacious and the facilities were very clean. Complimentary tea and coffee were available for consumption. Basic bathroom amenities are included. There was a washer+dryer in the bathroom with some laundry soap available for use. Special mention to the receptionist (I'm sorry, I forgot to get her name). My friend arrived at the hotel earlier than me and after a quick phone call with the receptionist & update of my booking, she managed to make sure my friend was able to get the keys to the room. Wonderful service and thank you for making my stay stress free!

Two main things. First, I knew that there's a construction going on next door (Metro tunnel), but the noise started slightly before 7am. It's out of the hotel's control but do keep in mind when booking especially if you're a light sleeper. Second, a building across from the window of my room can directly see what's going on in the living area. You can use the blinds for some privacy but just be aware.

Very convenient location, clean, comfy beds, great amenities. A minor issue was dealt with quickly. Felt very safe entering after hours. Glad we were forewarned of the building noise next door. It was loud, but we noted the earplugs provided.

The lounge was hard to heat, the big windows had air gaps and struggled to get up to temperature. We did not report that the TV didn't get ABC channels,but I am sure this will be rectified

The look, feel and vibe were just gorgeous- we loved the aesthetics of the Industrial style, the exposed concrete, the way the lights were secured on a cable- floating... some places think "Industrial design" means rough, sloppy finishes- we were impressed.

Kitchen could have been stocked better- It would have been nice to have more glassware- tumblers for water, red / white wine glasses, flutes for champage, tumblers for mixed drinks..Also a platter / cheeseboard, some cheese knives. Get them from the op shop ! So cheap and it was just that little attention to detail that was missing. Also, - need to cater for the coffeeholics ! we had to ask for more coffee pods !

The room was better than expected. It was a converted building with loft style apartments. The high ceilings made the space bigger. It was nice to have the bedroom and living area separate. The location was perfect for our requirements. There was a fantastic Mexican restaurant virtually next door too, which was delicious.

The coffee machine water dispenser needed cleaning - it smelled like cheese, and a tile in the bathroom needed to be glued back in place, but other than that, it was brilliant.

Perfect location for us to attend an event at Margaret Court Arena. The bed was very comfortable. There was also plenty of water pressure 😊

The stain on the carpet was disappointing. The bathroom could do with a more thorough clean. There is mould in the shower corner and base of the sink tap. There was also a sticky looking handprint on the wall above the kitchen sink.

Location was incredibly convenient for the MCG, NGV, and Lune bakery, and a short walk to central shopping areas. A supermarket one block away was available for essential provisions. Living area was very spacious.

My street front bedroom on the third floor was extremely noisy on Friday and Saturday nights, both with revellers hollering into the small hours and trucks loudly passing before dawn. Shower cubicle could have been cleaner.
