Great spot. Nice rooms. Friendly and helpful staff.

I thought is was a bit miserable that they didn't replenish the teabags when the room was refreshed. The $6 surcharge for room service also seemed a bit mean as the items on the in-room dining are already pretty aggressive. We had a negative experience in the cocktail bar. The Maître D' was very demanding as to how many people were turning up (4 or 6), which we did not know. Given the place was half empty it seemed somewhat unnecessary.

My corner room had a great view of the Yarra River & the city. The spa tub in the room was wonderful, especially with the balms included. The cleaning staff did a great job & responded to my requests for extra bath towels (big deal when you're the traveler}. The breakfast was fabulous & exceeded any daily breakfast program I've experienced at a hotel. The food selection was huge and many items prepared upon request. The dining staff was excellent & sufficiently staffed. In my travels since Covid, staffing (quality & quantity) seems to be an issue. During my 4-night stay, I had a great time and the location is great. You're surrounded by high-end stores & shops, 2-3 blocks from Chinatown, theatres, museums, the city tram.

The hotel is beautiful and in a fantastic location - walking distance to most things. Hotel staff were very courteous and the buffet breakfast was excellent.

The sound proofing between rooms is not great. We could hear the people in the room above us talking, walking around their room, playing music and even moving the coat hangers in their wardrobe. Not the best for a 5 star hotel. We could also hear the water running through the building every time someone in rooms around us turned on a tap or had a shower. Not easy fix issues but worth mentioning and it was pretty loud in the room we were in - 2219.

We had a wonderful stay at the Grand Hyatt hotel! The facilities and amenities were impressive, especially the gym, sauna, steam room, and indoor swimming pool. Our room offered a fantastic view and was spacious enough to accommodate a pull-out bed for my son and all the beds were comfortable. The spa bath in the bathroom was a lovely bonus that we truly enjoyed. The buffet breakfast was delicious with a great variety of options to choose from. What stood out the most was the friendly and helpful staff, who made our experience even more enjoyable. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this hotel!

I last stayed in this hotel over 20 years ago. I am pleased to report that it is as good as ever. The staff are all very helpful. James runs the Club lounge like the true professional that he is. The sheets and towels are all excellent quality. The location of the hotel is wonderful right in the heart of everything. The views from the upper floors are fantastic. A great venue.

We were allocated with a room of the 32 floor which had great views. Sadly it was adjacent to the 6 lift shafts. This made for a noisy experience. The hotel has a Hot Tub and Indoor swimming pool. The entire area needs a good scrub!

The view of the river and city was exceptional and proximity to trams and trains was very convenient. The bathroom was beautiful - lovely marble and granite - but also everything worked very well. The shower didn't leak, the bath had a functional plug and the towels were soft and cuddly. We didn't try the breakfast because the hotel was so convenient to Degraves Street - our favourite breakfast spot. I also asked one of the housekeepers for a feather pillow and she provided it very happily. The staff really was brilliant and made our stay extremely comfortable and memorable.

Breakfast was good value , restaurant and bar were in good condition and well maintained as was rooms and other areas . Staff were attentive and caring !

There was a poor wine menu list in restaurant and bar during our stay . We even requested to see better wine options and were given an iPad to review but on offer was also disappointing .... We are not wine snobs, but i expected more on offer . Management should review offerings from restaurants in the area to understand our view . For example the only " Rose " Grand Hyatt has is Villa Maria wine .. Just expected more from Grand Hyatt

The location was definitely good and the breakfast buffet was not bad either. Will be nice to have more kid friendly dishes - i.e mini pancakes, smaller waffles and etc. Loved the indoor pool, especially the heated jacuzzi pool and the sauna facilities during the winter season.

They should be providing basic bathroom amenities such as cotton bud and room slippers, And also, not a fan of their practice to change bed covers after 3 nights stay. While I know I can request for daily change of bedsheet covers, I personally feel that changing bedsheet covers every day should be mandatory and keep the idea of changing the bedsheet after every 3 nights stay as an option instead.

Fabulous location to the city, restaurants and public transport at the door. The hotel itself is lovely and the rooms very spacious and nice. It is easily to access the Stadiums, Sporting facilities e.g. Tennis, AFL, etc. Nice restaurants and bars onsite.

The worse priced Room Service, value for money we have every had. We use Room Service frequently at major hotels and this without date was the most overpriced for what you got. The Fruit platter was so small and breakfast was very very average for $47. I would give this hotel the highest praise and rating if not for the Room Service. We didn't go to the Kitchen restaurant onsite so I would hope the value for money was much better.

Location, most definitely. It was convenient to walk to anywhere. If you are into luxury shopping, the big brand names are just along side the hotel, making it super convenient (coz shopping closes at 5 pm). Lune is just across the street so you can decide when to queue (coz there’s always a queue). Room is big. Stayed on the 27th floor, King Room with river view. Beautiful view of the Yarra River and you can see the entire landscape of Melbourne. Bed is comfortable. They provide Balmain soap, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion. Gym is very well equipped, nice and comfortable.

Pillows are too soft. Breakfast, though the spread was good, but it was the same spread for the 5 days we stayed there.
