Comfortable hotel not far from the middle of Newtownards (easy walking distance) , by Ards Shopping Centre. LeWinter's Restaurant in the hotel offers good food. The staff are helpful and friendly. The room was pleasant. No problem with external noise despite the fairly central location. Car parking off road on site

The plug in the wash-hand basin in our room did not work, so water ran out of the bowl. The hotel were very helpful and despatched someone to repair it, but sadly it needed a part and so was not fixed during our stay. A tad expensive in my view, though would stay again.

The staff on front desk were fantastic and I am extremely sorry but I forget their names, firstly I needed to change my room to a twin and it wouldn't allow me to on booking.com and the front desk guy did it for me over the phone. Then upon checkout at 5am (to catch an early flight) I realised I left my sunglasses in the room. I called and they found them and within 24hrs they had posted them back to me. My father and I had dinner in the restaurant which was delicious and extremely good value for money, we had 2 steak dinners with sides and wine and throughly enjoyed it.

The breakfast was nice, only the scrambled eggs were too much of pieces and not thick enough. The location was great, coupled with having the shopping mall at a stone throw, also perfect for local transportation back to Belfast City Centre.

Let the management took it upon themselves to check the standard of cleanliness that has been performed by the cleaners, making sure that dust are not hanging out on every conner of the floor carpets, furnitures, door frames, and the conners of the wooden walls in the bathroom.

Great hotel, staff are amazing, so helpful and accommodating. Room was spotless, great size, bed was so comfy. Highly recommend for a date night get away, restaurant and bar is fabulous. Breakfast was lovely, fresh produce, good selection of fruit, toast, cereals and yogurts. Aswell as a cooked breakfast. The young lady on reception was absolutely brilliant, nothing was too much for her. Will definitely be back soon.

Made very welcome by the friendly staff on Reception and in the Restaurant. The server very helpfully suggested gluten free meal options and made the right choice! The room was cosy and welcoming as was the breakfast room where a good selection of hot food was served to your table with a buffet of cereals, fruit and toast laid out. The Hotel itself is located within a short walk of the main shopping areas. Will look forward to returning in the the future!

Hotel is cozy and well maintained. My room was very spacious for just myself, having a king size and a smaller bed as well. Had a good night sleep with no distractions, so if you are skeptical about it being near the road, do not worry. Breakfast was nice, though I wish there would be some more options on the menu. Great dinner on my second day of stay, and the staff is very friendly and chatty.

Breakfast each morning was good. The one donner we had there was fine. The room couldn't fault (see below) the staff were friendly and supportive.

Hotel is located in a strange place overlooking two retail outlets which means the windows are frosted to obscure the view. Sort of works but??? Inside the hotel is nice. It is nowhere near Strangford Loch.

Toilet seat creeks when used and the ceiling patch coming off. Low water pressure on 3 of the 4 rooms. Too small space for the beda provided. Pricy for the state of the rooms

The room was very clean, and contained all the facilities you come to expect. However, Booking.com stated there was a view, which was the car park, and bins, which could only be viewed once the window was open due to the window being fully frosted.

The lack of a promised view, however this is NOT the fault of the hotel, rather the incorrect details provided by Booking.com. No other issues were experienced.

Manager on the front desk was super - nothing too much trouble. Breakfast and evening meal were very good. Obviously popular with the locals which is a good sign. Staff were excellent - very friendly and attentive.

Room was a little small but very clean and adequate for the overnight stay. Possibly would have upgraded if the stay was of a longer duration.
