This "home" is the best option for anyone traveling to Belfast/Holywood area...it is situated in a private residence-high quality finishes and 2 rooms with french doors to garden-wonderful! I opted to not stay at nearby over-priced large "upscale" hotel-this B&B has an amazing host/owner who engages all in great conversation-he has a casual approach to his B&B-breakfast room with yummies(open at all times) as well as cooked breakfast. Cannot say enough how much we love this B&B-very close to waterfront as well, so great walks at doorstep! I wish I had host's cleaning person-jealous-meticulous!:)) Thank you Tim!!

This is an excellent choice. Gweebarra is a generously proportioned, tastefully furnished and immaculate place to stay. The host, Tim, is most engaging and attentive whilst entirely respectful of guests' privacy. The house is large and lends itself well to this type of accommodation - with plenty of space for all to enjoy. The room itself was large and bright and very clean with fresh bedding. The breakfast was fulsome and generous and there was no shortage of tea and coffee and snacks throughout my stay.

Nothing. Nobody could fault this place.

Gweebarra felt like home! Tim welcomed us like old friends and could not have been more warm and accommodating. The home is lovely and graceful. The beds and bedding are crisp, cozy and comfortable. Breakfasts are a delight with options which include fresh fruit, yogurt, various breads, and a cooked breakfast. The neighbourhood provides the opportunity for many lovely walks, including a stroll along the sea.

There was absolutely nothing we disliked!

The BnB is so lovely! The room was very spacious but still cozy and the whole place makes you feel right at home. The breakfast is super delicious and you can get warm food every day. Tim is a fabulous host, super friendly and always up for a conversation and full of recommendations on what to do and see. I would always go back there when staying in the Belfast area. It’s the perfect space for a stay when you don’t want to be in the centre of Belfast.

I like the large bedroom and the fact that the bathroom was not directly off the bedroom but off the small corridor leading to the bedroom. I also liked the french window opening onto the garden, and the heavy curtains that kept out the light. The bathroom had both a shower cubicle and a separate bathtub, which was nice.

The pillows were too high for me, but this is unfortunately very usual. I managed to sleep however by folding a large towel and putting it in one of the pillowcases. I didn't mind it beng somewhat hard.

Excellent location for a golfing visit to Royal Belfast. Tim was very accommodating and pleasant to talk with and his lovely Labrador Dylan. The property was very clean and the breakfast was excellent. The Belfast room was excellent, spacious with a big bathroom and very comfortable bed. I will definitely stay here again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Tim and Gweebarra to anyone staying in the area.

We where attending an event nearby and only found this accommodation by chance 5 days prior on booking.com. Prior to arrival we were running late and Tim sent an informative message regarding check-in in his absence. The service and hospitality received during our 1 night stay was excellent. The breakfast was cooked from fresh and tasted better than any hotel we've stayed in.... in a very long time if ever. Will defiantly be booking again. Thanks to Tim and his team. x

Beautiful location, amazingly quiet and just a short downhill walk to the estuary with a wonderful walk along the front to Cultra station to train into Belfast. Tim was a wonderful host, a great character who knows how to rustle up a mean and very filling Ulster breakfast. Our room was beautiful, very roomy, clean with a lovely big bed and good size bathroom. Claire and i will be back ❤️

Believe me…there is nothing you will find to not like !!

The house is lovely and very tastefully decorated. We arrived early just to drop off our luggage but Tim invited us to stay for coffee or tea and biscuits, giving us a chance to catch our breath and chat a bit with Tim. Our room was spacious with a view of the garden and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We were able to drive to a nearby metro and get into Belfast in 20 minutes with the bother of driving a car around a big city (and on the other side of the road).

Despite some difficulty with a freeway incident, making access to the property a challenge, Tim the host was enthusiastic, welcoming and as helpful as possible. The room was a delight and the position of the property, the area in which it was based, was terrific, consistent with the other Hollywood! Good internet coverage

The size of the TV was a little inconsistent with the rest of the "package"; that is, huge bed, spacious room, great bathroom, good support facilities, 20" TV
