The room was spacious for us and our golden retriever. We liked the coffee/tea/hot chocolate making facility in the room. The cups and room was cleaned after our first night stay, ready for the next cup of tea... :-) We liked the easy access in and out and the nearby park - for the short morning and late evening 'wee walk' with our dog. It was a perfect base to explore Lizard peninsula and south west Cornwall.

The pillows were soft, but the bed mattress could be better. The room needs redecorating.

Room was large and homely with separate entrance to pub. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate in the room was welcome. Breakfast was very nice - I had scrambled eggs on toast. Really great location within the village.

The towel rack in the bathroom couldn't be adjusted, only turned off at the base, and it took me a while to work that out! It resulted in the bathroom being very hot and the rack whistling at me early in the morning whilst I tried to turn it off.

Breakfast included every morning, although not stated on when booking. It was a nice surprise and a very nice breakfast! Comfy rooms, bed was great. Beautiful homely pub. Friendly staff. Been many times over the years and I hope to stay again.

The heaters and towel rack come on at their own will, no matter what setting, even if they're off. I think they're on a timer. Definitely not the end of the world but maybe something to look at changing in the future. The windows do bang a bit in the wind. Again, not a big deal. Maybe just stick some foam buffers on to lessen the noise a little.

The Old Inn offered us an easy-going place to stay which was good value for money. The sea view room was clean and well equipped and the bed was comfortable. We were staying out of season, so a full breakfast wasn't operating, in place of this we were given a conti-style breakfast in a box alternative and we were happy with this, being appreciative that this is practical around this time. We did enjoy an evening meal here, which was great and we must also compliment the young lad on duty here who is an asset to the Inn!

Good sized hearty breakfast. Helpful friendly staff. Nice evening meals (lucky as nowhere else in village to eat). We stopped in November during windy weather but room cosy and warm. Clean rooms. Close to public transport and the coast.

Ground floor rooms were first floor of pub, and above pool room/lounge which meant some noise until midnight that some early sleepers might have problem with, though of course not unexpected for booking a pub room. Shower water seems to be shared with other rooms, ie reduced to a dribble sometimes. Front door (separate entrance to pub) was difficult to close so some people left it open.

Friendliness of the staff very welcoming, especially the truly lovely lady host and tall chap taking food orders. A very kind and helpful person whose advice was greatly appreciated :)

An Eton Mess with hardly any strawberries or meringue but mostly solid cream :( an ordeal arterial overload :( Garlic in burger meal not sure if it was the salad dressing but I really don’t like garlic :( not sure why it was there?

The inn was amazing, so homey and friendly. We had dinner and drinks here and it was fantastic, the food was phenomenal and the staff were so friendly. the room was great and huge! super cosy and because it was a Sunday morning breakfast wasn’t served early so a lovely morning care package was left outside our door, was honestly above and beyond our expectations.

It’s not particularly a dislike but the shower was quite hard to get a good temperature it was either boiling or cold & the shower door was broken so there was a curtain, I wouldn’t have noticed but the broken door was left in the bathroom

I was in room 1, which is the top floor of the original thatched part. Comfortable clean room with a few signs of age in bathroom but it’s a listed building so maintenance can’t be straightforward. Good pub with good beer and food and friendly staff. One of my ancestors kept the pub in the 1800s so I may be a bit biased but you couldn’t beat the value for money in Mullion which was where I needed to be for a couple of days.

I have never slept in such an uncomfortable bed. you could feel every spring and it squeaked with every movement

Loved the location, the friendly staff, great service & excellent food. Great village pub with atmosphere & friendly locals. The rooms had everything we needed for a comfortable 2 night stay & the continental breakfast which was included was perfect to set you up for the day. Would recommend in a heartbeat & would love to revisit when we are next back in the UK.
