Room comfortable, if a little small. Staff very friendly and efficient, and willing to provide anything extra if asked. Free and easy atmosphere. Never felt hassled. Lovely view from window. Overall a pleasant and quiet hotel.

Nothing detracted from a pleasant stay, which was for accommodation for a family wedding nearby. Only very slight disappointment was the single bed, but I knew that it would be a single in advance (no choice as it was a fairly late booking for a peak week). Some noise from water tank early morning, but understandable, as my room was on the second floor. Water pressure in shower was not very good, but again, to be expected on a second floor. Not a case if not liking it - I know that accommodation type is dictated by the physical properties and layout of the building - more a feeling that maybe the price could have been a little lower to reflect that.

The property was located close to where we were attending a wedding, so that was ideal for us. Some rooms can accommodate a dog which was a bonus. It was clean and comfortable with a wide range of breakfast options.

We did not strongly dislike anything about the property. Worth noting that you gave to choose your breakfast the day before, but that was not too big an issue. Some rooms have a shower over the bath which is not ideal for anyone with mobility issues, so it’s worth talking to the venue about that on booking, some rooms have lovely low profile showers. A bit pricey but it was August in Cornwall, so everywhere is.

Decent sized room for the 3 of us, clean room, recently decorated. Still a bit chintzy but with a modern twist. and very comfortable bed. Welcoming to dogs. Nice breakfast which they let us take in the lounge with dog.

Soundproofing between rooms not that great. TBH that tends to be the case in these types of properties, ( and why I useually avoid them) so not a surprise. People were generally quiet though. I was just worried we were the loud ones with kid and dog! Breakfast was a bit slow even though we booked for 8am and I had to remind them of a few things we ordered. Wouldn't usually be an issue but we did need to head off quickly. Would be fine if you were on a relaxing holiday.

Nice quiet location with good parking on-site. Nice bar and excellent restaurant. Comfortable lounge area. Comfortable bed. Nice friendly staff. About 12-15 minutes drive from Falmouth. A couple of nice small sandy beaches on the way.

I stayed in early October when the nights were starting to get cold and yet the central heating system was still not yet on so the rom started to get cold. The TV in the room was quite small by modern standards.

Sat Nav directions through difficult country lanes. dark and worrying for driver. We couldn't locate hotel until after 10.30pm. We had to ask at another hotel and found we had turned around just 100 yards form destination. had to phone hotel and they gave us tree with fairy lights. Would not recommend location due to difficulty we had. perhaps advise new bookings to go via main route to Falmouth.

Room was good comfortable and clean, Staff were excellent, Nice view even in the dead of winter Rural but close to beach, quiet location and only 11 mins from the centre of Falmouth Good parking

Breakfast was a little too greasy, Sausages were low grade would have liked local butchers sausages, Orange Juice was concentrate not fresh, not sure I was keen on ordering the night before as appetites change Shower wasn't very powerful TV was cheap and cheerful and sound was a bit squeaky

In the pictures of your twin bed rooms it showed lovely views of the garden etc. This was one reason why I booked with you. I was very, very disappointed to see that the only view we had was parked cars right outside our window. NOT what I was expecting to look at after an 8 hour journey. We felt that we could not have our windows open to enjoy the country air.

The location was perfect, every single member of the staff was helpful and friendly (ask Annie where to eat!) and the place itself is beautiful. That it’s been in the family almost 50 years is palpable. I felt that I was visiting cousins I’d never met. The heater in the bathroom meant your bath towel (and underwear…) was always dry in time. Breakfast kept you going all day. Plenty of gorgeous walks right outside your door. And the VIEWS!

It’s like being home away from home! The owner and staff went far and beyond to make everyone happy. It’s a very stylish place with everything designed to bring comfort. Breakfast is excellent and an excellent selection ! The dinner at the restaurant was superb. There is a good selection of tea, coffee and hot chocolate in the room so we could have a nice tea in bed. We had a room with a sea view! What a joy to watch a sunrise over the sea! The bed is very comfortable! The garden around the house is spacious and almost manicured! Beautiful!!!
