We stayed in a double room with an individual bathroom but we didn't realize that this was separate from the bedroom, on the floor below. It wasn't a problem, just a curiosity for the more distracted like us. Despite very clean, the room was small and the mattress not very comfortable: too soft and we could feel the springs.

We were the only guests apart from two others who live there permanently. We were able to talk to one of them and, in addition to being very friendly and approachable, I cannot fail to point out that they use the common spaces as their own. Another thing that aroused my curiosity is that for there being so few, they made a lot of noise. Screams were common at night. Despite these adventures that are part of life in a hostel, and could easily be corrected, it is a place that I recommend 100%

The location is 10 to 15 minutes walking to the town centre. The nearest shop is 5 min. walking. The property is very clean, spacious shower cabin. In the kitchen, there are everything you need for cooking, also, coffee, tea, washing machine. The town is very nice (one of the best spots in all Ireland, Northern and the Republic of Ireland), accessible women (in positive sense), kind people.

There are no Wi Fi. In fact, there is, but there are no instructions, in all property, how to use it. In the kitchen, there is no sponge for washing. There is a kitchen cloth, which serves for wiping superficies and washing dishes.

Great accomodation, very clean, and only 20 min walk to the city centre. Lots of clear communication on how to access the building and where to find your room, felt very well informed both in advance of and during my stay. Self check in but well organised, even received a phone call to confirm that I had checked in alright and found my room. Overall very happy with my stay, would definitely stay here again!

This bnb was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Art work on walls was fabulous and relevant to the area. Bnb was walking distance to city centre. The Lady who was cleaning when we arrived was very helpful, pleasant and knowledge of the area. I stayed at bnb with friends who were also very pleased with overall experience, would highly recommend this bnb

Maybe heating could be turned down or off at night

Stunning artwork as well as wonderful space for our large group & the owner of the property John was really helpful and accommodating for us

We were over for a wedding so this is potentially a slight issue which was unique to our group but mirror space close to electrical outlets was slightly limited for some of the group trying to style hair

The place is just convenient easy to reach

The room was 36 steps up tiresome and l did not like a studio apartment where you can't see whats outside on the street, l could only see grass and stagnant water on the side roof. There also some small biting insects like misquito from the stagnant water. There are no mirrors in the room as compared to the rooms on 1st and 2nd floor

could not recommend this perfect diamond in a beautiful city!!! The whole vibe about the place is amazing! The art work is stunning and very vibrant. From the welcome messages from John, followed by check in with Paul, the quick chat with Rosemary and then the reminder of how to check out message was an absolute pleasure! I will definitely be back! also don’t worry about parking there are plenty of places just round the corner.

my stay was not long enough!

This location was a perfect little walk into town, which gave me the excuse to meet a few friendly pet cats on the go. The room itself was beyond comfortable and had loads of space. Although we did not use it, the folded table and stools in the room would have been so perfect had we ordered in. The living room, kitchen, and dining rooms were all well kept and equipped. Beyond the usability, the building itself was incredibly beautiful and covered in fun colors. It was like staying inside a work of pop art. We especially enjoyed the map in the lobby of all the best murals in the city that one must see. 44 North is the place to stay in Derry for art lovers, curious minds, and people who are looking for both a bed and an experience.

Nothing. The bathroom was shared but very clean. They had so much toilet paper, which made it all much more acceptable.

Great value and location. The host made sure I had all relevant info around access etc.
