The location is great close to metro stations and also close sanlitun. I could easily commute the workers stadium line is maybe 5mins walk and there is another line 15mins slow walk away.

I did not recieve my Fapiao (official work invoice to claim my expenses) on time and the system of requesting fapiao via the Wechat mini program may be a bit difficult for non-Chinese to navigate.

The location was only a 10minute walk to the SanLiTun shopping district, very walkable area. The one thing that really stood out to us was the customer service by the concierge, from the security guards to the front desk, everyone was friendly and extremely helpful. They have made our stay in Beijing so much better with their hospitality. Special shoutout to Ms Li for being extremely helpful with directions, and just about everything! Room cleaning was also excellent, we loved coming back to a clean room after a long day out! the public area also has complimentary tea and coffee, which we really appreciated. we would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Beijing.

Everything was perfect!

Located in the Sanlitun area and near many local restaurants and three metro lines. Hotel doesn't serve breakfast but it is easy to have a good breakfast nearby. There is a supermarket (WuMart) nearby. Getting to/from the airport (PEK) by metro was fast. The lodging was modern, clean and very comfortable. The cleaning staff did a great job. My room was cleaned everyday. Free espresso-type coffee and some teas at the lobby. I could use a washing machine in my room.

For credit card payments (depending on one's booking terms and conditions), I think the front desk staff should ask the guest if he/she wants to be charge in local (i.e., CNY), or home currency (i.e., using DCC). I wasn't asked for my preference but my issue was quickly and successfully resolved once I approached the staff for assistance. Sound insulation of the room could be improved. I could hear toilet flushing and other guests speaking. Fortunately, I did not have noisy neighbours during my stay.

There are tons of areas to hang out and the coffee isn’t bad either. The room was nice, clean, and up to standard. It’s one of those things where you don’t have much to say because everything went well. That’s a really good sign, especially in China.

As of 2024, there’s a lot of construction around the area kicking up a lot of dirt and dust. There’s no way around it, but that hampered things. Because of the construction, it was tough to find the place initially. I suggest taking a taxi on your first time there. This one is more neutral: It’s a bit of a walk from the Sanlitun Area proper (The apple store area) but they have bike rentals for that if it’s an issue. Again, not a negative.

Hotel is very clean and has a good vibe. The rooms are decently sized and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. I have been here twice and the beds are the most comfortable I've slept on, and I've been to many hotels and air bnbs. Staff are very helpful although if you come to check in very early morning you might not get an English speaking staff. Location is not bad, good restaurants and shops around but a 15 minute walk from the subway and a bit further away from the centre of Beijing. Only 20 minute taxi ride from the airport.

Great place to stay in Beijing with good value for money. Room was spacious and clean, came with all necessary amenities and free bottled water. Bed was comfortable. A/C worked well and room was quiet. Hotel was a short walk to Line 2 subway station and very close to multiple restaurants that stay open until late at night. Area seemed very safe and staff was friendly. I stayed for 5 nights and would recommend the place to anyone who wants a more budget friendly accommodation that still feels high end. Would stay here again.

Excellent choice of accommodation in downtown Beijing. The apartment is well kept and fitted with all the essentials, whether it's for a short stay or longer term stay. Clean and welcoming, there is a nice communal dining area where you can just chill or gather with friends. Our apartment is fitted with a humidifier and washing machine, which is great in the dry season and a convenient feature since we could do our laundry since we travel light. We felt really welcomed and really appreciated the warm and friendly services from all the staff members from the reception to housekeeping to security staff. Special shoutout to Catherine, who took extra attention to make sure our stay was the most comfortable. Without a doubt, our stay at Base in Beijing is definitely the best in our 2-week trip in China. We stayed one night a few days back and left our luggage with them to do shorter trips around Beijing and Datong before returning for this stay for our final 2 nights in Beijing before flying home. It's convenient to reach the International Airport from the residence, and we will definitely be returning to Base again for our next trip to China.

Location wise, it's really convenient both for public transport
