It was a brief and an accidental stay, but I enjoyed every minute of it. The facilities were ok for the price, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the breakfast was simple, but ample and tasty, the food and the service in the restaurant serving a la carte were fantastic. There is a nice selection of weights in the little gym and the sauna delivers what you expect from it. And the location... Well, it's Medvedica mountain, what can you say.... Don't think I will ever forget my walk in that mountain park.

It is not in any way a negative point, just a warning: double-check where you are going and pick another location if you plan to party downtown every night.

A wonderful hotel that is, in a way, unique for this location. My room had a beautiful view from the window. The price-to-quality ratio is excellent. The breakfast, which is included in a price, is very convenient since there are no shops or malls nearby. It’s a great choice for people seeking connection with nature and a quiet, peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The lack of Wi-Fi in the room might be an unpleasant surprise for some. However, I believe that if you came here to relax, constant internet access is not essential.

Breakfast (included) was very good, wide variety of cold food.and small variety of hot food, and as much as one could eat. Restaurant was huge,very clean with excellent views of snow and trees and surrounds. Wait staff were friendly and accommodating. Evening and lunch menus were Croatian fayre and huge. Nearby cable car up and down the mountain was a great experience.

Room was spacious and very clean but lacked the normal hotel facilities, no tea/coffee making, no room service, their web page quoted 'toiletries, but none present. Vehicle a necessity to access hotel and surrounding tourist features and restaurants.

I stayed one night at Hotel Tomislavov Dom and had a wonderful experience. The breakfast was good, and the staff were very friendly and kind, making sure we had everything we needed. The hotel is beautifully located in a picturesque forest, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. I especially appreciated that the pool was available to use even after check-out—such a great bonus! I wish I could have stayed longer to fully enjoy everything this lovely place has to offer.

Everything was great.

Locatio. Is perfect for guys like me who comming with dogs. Pleanty of free and beautifull walking paths. Even during summer it is very pleasant temperature so high in hill (little bit above 1000 m above sea level). Breakfast was not so big in variaty but it did do quite good job on the end :-).

Bed was not so conforable. Even i manage to sleep i still preffer to have AC in room (it was not pressent in my room). Some utilities will be nice to replace/renew (old furniture). Note - take extra procautions when you going up there ower road sincw you can hot some animall at night (i seen fox, dear, snake, wild pig).

Perfectly peaceful place for a short break from the city. Staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. The pool is larger than in the photos, it is heated and available for free during the day. The whole place is really clean. The drive up the mountain takes less than half an hour with numerous resting stops offering excellent view of the Zagreb below but can be challenging for inexperienced drivers.

Carpet on whole floor, and very good, diverse and plentiful breakfast. A dinner courses from daily menu were excellent, we had two different dishes and two desserts, and everything was above average, very good and very tasty, with ideal amount of spices.

Hotel offers only two separate single beds that can be connected and there are not double beds on offer, and single beds are still just two separate moduls not firmly connected.

It is high up at the top of the mountain with fantastic surroundings and views over Zagreb. It is clean, neat and very affordable. Staff is very helpful and friendly we arrived in the morning hours and they were so kind and pleasant to talk with.

Not for everyone, you must love nature, remote places and be a confident driver (if your not taking the bus).

Location, location, location. Get ready to travel up the hill for 20 min on a winding road. Up there the air is fresh, and the temp is at least 5C less then in the boiling city. You have to go checkout the pool. It is as if Wes Anderson created a set. Ex-YU meets Palm Springs. It is a great stay for kids. The restaurant has a huge garden covered in green.

There was no internet as something broke on the network. The hygiene was OK but could be stepped up a notch.

If you like unusual places outside of the city, this is your place! The hotel is on top of a hill in a forest surrounded by trees. It takes about 30 min to get there but it is worth it! There is a nice view and you wake up in the forest. Then, the place has still a typical Yugoslavian charm, which I loved but people who love fancy places should avoid it. Staff is very friendly and you have the possibility to dine there.
