Everything was great and the guys in the reception were both lovely. We loved both the location and the room.

The only thing we really didn’t like about the place was that they were smoking both in hotel rooms next to us and next to the breakfast buffet in the morning and it was so extreme that we sat outside not to sit in smoke during breakfast. Especially with a small child it didn’t feel great.

Even though it wasn’t located in the central area of Zagreb, we liked the nice safe location and enjoyed our walk everyday. The apartment is well-equipped and the bed was comfortable. We slept well. The service was efficient and friendly. We had our breakfast included, and liked it. If there’s one thing I would suggest the hotel to change, it would be the automatic switch-off of the air conditioning that kept us awake whenever it was switched off. Apart from that, this hotel would definitely be my go-to accommodation in Zagreb!

Excellent staff and very friendly and smily. For two days spent in the apartment we felt like we were staying with relatives (in a positive sense) 😁😁. For breakfast there was enough choice to fill your stomach until lunch 🤣🤣. Not to mention the selection of specialties that I have not tried because of a good breakfast. Good luck in your future work, keep going. I hope to see you again sometime.

The first thing we liked was the fact that it was very clean. The hotel is near a park and (I think) in the upper part of the town. But as a bonus, there is a bus stop near the hotel. There are 2 bus lines that go up there (102 and 105). Next, we liked the food a lot, everything that they cooked there was exceptional. The first day we arrived we ate pheasant soup and mushroom cream soup. And the night before we left we had some very good venison meat along with potatoes. The hosts/employees were very nice and we liked interacting with them. We would come back there any time.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel as a family of five. The room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable, with everything we needed. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, especially Ms. Martina, who was incredibly kind to our children. After we checked out, we realized we had forgotten something, and she immediately helped us send it back. We were truly impressed and very grateful. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with our stay and hope to come back again!

Restaurant smells include cigarettes smell come in to your room from downstairs not pleasant,It was nice and clean only Walls got some marks from spilled coffee and hand prints.Breakfast should be little bit more to choose as vegetables or Jogurt.Price for accommodation is little too high for me because honest if you compare that with another Hotel’s!

Luxurious hotel for moderate price. The hotel might be a little bit outside the city center but the 15-minute walk down the hill through the small woods and the old city is really pleasant. Sporty creatures can attack the demanding way back on foot, the lazy souls can request a taxi, which are very affordable in Zagreb. Family of four we had a very nice two bedroom apartment with two bathrooms. Rooms are very clean, good breakfast, comfortable beds, helpful staff and a secure parking in the courtyard.

For the first time, I contemplated not writing a review because this boutique hotel in Zagreb is so unique that I do not want so many people to book it that I will never get a room again. Hotel Republika is small, but what it offers is huge. All the rooms are tiny apartments with more than enough space. Plenty of parking on the grounds. Breakfast is good, and the Restaurant is great, especially when looking for authentic Croatian, homestyle Cooking. The location, for me, is key. The building is located in one of the city's most prestigious areas. Quiet and peaceful yet only a 10-15min walk to the City Centre. The staff is amazing and always treated me well. I travel often to Zagreb. Other times where I've tried other lodgings was because the hotel was fully booked, and I could not stay. Not one place has ever come close to the experience and the value I receive from here. Hotel Republika is not a hotel for me. It's my home away from home.

So bed and pillows are so comfy! Everything is very new, modern and clean. You have so much space in the apartment. The bar downstairs is very cute at night. We had a glass of wine in the evening. Parking space it’s a big bonus. Being uphill, near a park, it is very quiet at night and you can rest.

The cable management of the TV is lacking. For a such modern apartment the cables hanging everywhere ruin everything:)) The hotel is up a hill and it takes 20 minutes to the old town because there are not direct streets. For exemple, to go to the street with all the restaurants and pubs you have to walk exactly 30 minutes. Also, uphill, at return, it think it can be a little challenging if you are not fit. :)

WiFi, location, the care of the staff, breakfast, free car park, all 3 staff was very kind

The restaurant part, the meetball of the hamburger was undercooked, the pasta, you need to check in before 22:00 as staff is gone afterwards. Because we booked the stay little late, the cleaning staff was already gone so we had to prepare kids bed ourselves. Normally it is not a big deal but after 1300 km drive you have lesss energy left for that. Elevator was also very slow but can be used for luggage 🧳 only
