The location was absolutely ideal—right in the heart of the city, making it incredibly convenient to explore the main attractions, restaurants, and shops. Everything was within walking distance, which saved a lot of time and made the experience even more enjoyable. The service was excellent throughout my stay. The staff were warm, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. Whether it was check-in, recommendations for places to visit, or small requests during my stay, they handled everything efficiently and made me feel genuinely welcome. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-located place to stay with great service.

There were a couple of issues that stood out. The toiletries provided were confusing—there were two identical bottles labeled as hand soap, which made it unclear whether one was meant for hair or body use. Additionally, the water faucet in the bathroom was broken, but was still working. Despite these minor setbacks, the hotel has a lot of potential, and I’d still consider staying again, especially if these small issues are resolved.

The hotel is in an excellent location in the lower town with easy acces to public transportion. Most things are in walking distance. It's very quiet and the beds were great, so perfect for a good night's rest. The staff went out of their way when I informed them one day before we arrived that I would unexpectedly be travelling in a wheelchair. They called me from immediatly to tell me how they would assist me. As our room was on the first floor they gave us the key to a small elevator. They were so kinds and helpful and made our stay in Bergamo very pleasant after all. Great service!

- The mini refrigerator in the room was missing and the drinks were just placed in the closest, warm,... couldn't drink those. - We had to eat in the small area upstairs and the breakfast was very simple and didn't have as many options as downstairs, as we noticed, as friends of ours had to eat there. That was a pity.

A quaint, secure, authentic little retreat in Bergamo. 10-15 minutes walk from the train station and about another 15 minutes walk to the funicular to take you up to the old town. Plenty of lovely little bars, shops and an excellent supermarket within a few minutes walk from the hotel. I would recommend guests to check it out on google earth because it not very easy to spot as there is a large wooden door on the street which leads to an inner courtyard and only identifiable by an external buzzer but once you've found it you won't forget it. Breakfast was also excellent.

We were met at the entrance to the hotel by a very friendly lady which was very nice considering it was 10pm and we were not expecting the reception to be staffed. Check in was quick and our room was conveniently located on the ground floor. The maisonette style room was very clean and provided everything we needed. Even a kettle so we could have a cup of tea and the lady in reception even provided us with a jug of milk. The breakfast buffet included was a bonus, with cereals, pastries, cheeses, boiled eggs, fruit & yoghurts. The lovely lady working the breakfast shift even provided some gluten free treats upon request which I was very grateful for. I would recommend a stay at this hotel.

There was nothing to dislike. We would have liked 2 pillows each but as we were staying only 1 night we didn't bother to ask, however I'm sure if we did they would have been provided.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and had the added benefit of a seating area which was much appreciated after a long day of sight seeing;where you could relax. We had to leave very early in the morning and the receptionist kindly ordered a taxi for us to the airport and gave us a breakfast bag to take with us. Location was great as it was only a 15 minute walk from Train station and near to centre of town This was our second time at La Castellana loft and we would certainly go back again when in Bergamo.

Our "suite" was great, plenty of room. Great location, easy walking distance to transport and attractions. Breakfast was nice, continental style. Parking is not on site but very close by.

Limited reception hours (after 15:30) meant we couldn't leave our luggage as there would be no one there when we needed to collect it at 14:00. Didn't figure this out until the morning of departure, even though the staff member who had checked us in knew we were leaving at that time and had said we could leave it. It was also a problem that we needed to return the parking remote control but, again, there was no one available to give this to.

Was a beautiful little courtyard setting in a lovely part of town. Walkable from both train/bus station and to the old town. Spotlessly clean. Staff were fantastic particularly Nicole and Ariana. Nicole was great with giving us directions and so kind at breakfast making sure we had what we needed and topping up or coffee! My sister had an allergic react to an insect bite and Ariana got her an ice pack and was great at sorting out a taxi back to the airport. Excellent customer service.

We had a split-level room and it was perfect for a family with a child. Our daughter slept upstairs and had a lovely big space all to herself. The location is right in the centre of the lower city, short walk to the park, opera house, big square and funicular to the upper city.

Breakfast was good, however we came 30 minutes before the end time and the platters were mostly empty, so we had to ask staff to bring more. I wish they did not have to be reminded. But really, it was a minor thing.

We stayed here for 1 night on our way back from Lake Garda as the hotel is less than 15 minutes from the airport. We parked nearby in PRIMAX SRL - PARCHEGGI which was reasonably priced and secure. Check in and out was easy. The hotel receptionist was friendly and helpful. We were also provided with a takeaway breakfast to take with us to the airport. Very spacious and clean room, no complaints. We wish we could have stayed here for longer so we would return and recommend to anyone.

I liked almost everything in the hotel. The location is very close to the old town and the city center. The staff is very super kind and helpful and the interior is really beautiful. The room was clean and had a nice bathroom. The breakfast was well served and varied. They stored our luggage until desired departure time.

I am not sure if the windows could be opened. Instead we had air conditioning, but did not mind that, especially for one night.
