Location is conveniently close to train station while also close to sights and lots of eateries and shops nearby. Very aesthetically pleasing room and building. Comfortable beds. Very clean. We were kindly allowed to leave luggage at apartment before check out which was very useful. Heads up that payment is made at the check out and card is only used as a guarantee and not for payment -not an issue but something we weren't clear on. Minibar available at reasonable prices

Two air conditioning units were available and while functional, one in main bedroom was a little noisy. Bathroom door has large frosted glass panel that was very see through and bit uncomfortable with 4 guests given that was located in corridor. A little curtain inside the bathroom would solve that easily. Flushing sometimes kept running but if pressed again would stop. Mat in shower was found soaking wet so a plastic one may be better suited. A box or drawer to store clean dishes/kitchenware in may have been nice so not found or left in draining board.

The room is charming with some antique furniture. Our room is by the small river/stream. Listening to the water flowing at night or day is very soothing. Good at balmy summer nights when we can open the windows and let the cool air come in. There is also a table fan in the room which we can use if it gets hot. We loved the breakfast. Very filling. Lots of varieties and the cook/wait staff was very friendly. The B&B is at a great location, quiet neighborhood with good cafes, bakery and short hop to the best gelato in Bergamo. 15 minute walk to the city/town center with shopping streets etc. Would definitely stay here again. Bergamo is a good base to explore Milano with fast, rapid trains every hour.

There is an air-conditioner in the room. But I don't think it was working. So we ended up opening the window but the cool air does help to ensure a good night sleep in the summer. There is also a table fan in the room which we used during day time. The whole room is very charming. But I think it will be good if the dust on some of the tables/furniture can be dusted properly.

The place was beautiful and very secluded, lots of plants, first stop over for a night on our way to Venice and it was perfect to set the tone of our holidays. We had a 4 persons room with the mezzanine. 2 showers, air con, clean, very nice stay! We also had breakfast which was nice with all local products.

The underground parking that we booked with the hotwl was 2m high. We had a roof boxe on the car and arrived late. Had to undo the boxe to access the car park. This wasn't mentioned from the owner of the place. So just be careful. We should have asked too in advance.

The location is perfect in Bergamo. Close to shops, bars and restaurants. It is about a twenty minute walk to Citta Alta and the same to the Bergamo train station. We got a taxi from the airport for €20 on arrival but took the local number 1 bus back. This bus is outside the train station back to the airport. The Angolo Del Poeta is a very well maintained property, which is very easy to find. We had room 20 on the second floor. This was one of the best hotels rooms I have stayed in. It was a very authentic Italian cottage room which I can’t rave about enough. The manager was a lovely lady, who couldn’t do enough to help us when needed. The staff are friendly and very approachable. All the local eateries, coffee shops and bars are friendly and well worth a visit. We loved the local ILounge.

The building is wonderful for history loving persons. We really appreciated the genuine feeling of the inner courtyard, the terrace and the rustic rooms. The whole place is made with good taste. There is a little stream at the back of the building, for us it was quite pleasant to listen to the soft sound of the water flowing. The area is very nice, with lots of small cafeterias, restaurants in nearby, good to wandering around. The lower city center is at 15 minutes and the Citta Alta around 25 minutes of walking distance. The room was large, clean and the bed was comfortable. It was always warm and cozy inside the room. There is also breakfast possibility, but we did not opt for it. The staff was kind, very helpful. The communication was easy.

Sound proofing is minimal (e.g. when people are coming and going at night), but understandable for such a wonderful historical building. It was quiet though through the night. It would have been nice to have free, easily accessible wall plugs near the night stands.

Beautiful B&B in old charming house. Proper cleaning. Friendly host that was easy to communicate with and to get support from when needed. Delicious breakfast with good service, loved to be met with the question, how would you like your coffee and eggs? The neighbourhood was a positive surprise with charming streets. Also loved the church bells ringing outside.

Some leaking taps and while properly cleaned when we arrived the old house mold started to be noted after a couple of days. However, Im sure we could have had an additional clean if we would have stayed longer, so that factor would not worry me to much.

Amazing breakfast with freshly cooked eggs of our choosing - can recommend the omelette. Great spread of local cheeses and meats, pastries and sweet treats as well as coffee / tea, fruit juice, yoghurt and cereal. Our rooms were spacious with lots of space for the four of us. Mini bar was very reasonably priced. All very clean and the staff were super helpful and friendly.

The apartment was so charming. Very spacious. Clean. Had minibar too. In a quiet neighbourhood. There's a well-stocked grocery shop right next door. Didn't take too long to walk anywhere. Good spot to explore the city from. Communication was very good with hosts.

I'm not saying I didn't like it, but I can imagine some people would find it a bit strange that our upstairs shower was next to our bed and separated by a see-through glass. You could also see into the shower from downstairs.

The most charming place we have ever stayed in by far, and we travel a lot. The building looks like a medieval house of nobility with an inner courtyard and outside hallways with pillars. The room was actually two bedrooms on two levels, the upper one like a loft. There is exposed woodwork and stone walls and it all looks like the inside of a castle. Despite that, it was warm in December and the bathroom was very modern. There is also a hot tub. There was wine, fridge with beer and an electric kettle for tea. Breakfast is 8 euro and worth it. Standard staples plus they made scrambled eggs for us. Parking is a 5 min walk away and costs 12 euro. They send you a code to enter the building.

This was an unplanned stay, I arrived very late and the room was warm, spacious and somehow welcoming. The reception desk was unmanned at near to midnight but a key was left for a latecomer with easy instructions on how to access the room. The shower was powerful and there were plentiful towels. Wine and water were available to buy in the room for a reasonable price. The building is charming. Would have gladly stayed longer. I met the receptionist the next morning and she was friendly and allowed me to leave my case in the hotel until my flght.

The bedsheets were clean and lovely, but the thick bedcover smelled like it perhaps could do with a wash! But other than that, everything was great.
