What an absolute gem of a place! It is located within 15 minutes walk from the train/bus station, a bit further out from the centre, but you can access it with ease. It is a lovely, quiet and safe area. The guesthouse is located on the first floor of a house. The owner was the most lovely and so very welcoming! She made me feel right at home. The room was spacious, spotless and beautifully presented. The bed was super comfy. There is a large balcony which I loved. The guesthouse has a shared kitchen with tea, coffee, water and snacks, available all the time. Again very homely, I loved having breakfast there and chatting with the owners. I will definitely recommend Joys house for staying in Bergamo, I had a really great time here! The bedroom, the bathroom and the common area are all very clean and comfortable. The owner Joys is very friendly and warm, she gave me a lot of useful advice for visiting around. There are bread, fruit, coffee and yogurt for breakfast in the kitchen. Although it's not right in the city center, it's only 5 minutes walking to bus stops or tram where you can easily take the bus to the train station and city center. Also, it's in a quiet area that I can take a good rest. I really love this place, I will stay here again if I come back to Bergamo!

The hotel is located on the outskirts of Bergamo, in a quiet place. Not far from the airport. 20 minutes walk from the center and 50 minutes walk from the Old Town. For me it was not a problem. And although I had a car, I walked to the Old Town and back. That's how I got to know the city. The hotel looks like new, very clean, homely atmosphere, very nice and hospitable hostess. In the kitchen there is a coffee machine, toast and croissants. You can use it at any time. Nearby there is Osteria Dogana with Italian cuisine, which serves very tasty food. I highly recommend it for those who arrived in Bergamo in transit or for a few days

The host is really friendly and nice, rooms are super clean (we also had daily cleaning), the area is quiet and you can walk until city center (around 15’ walk). In the kitchen you can enjoy a free breakfast, there is also a coffee machine and plenty bottles of water.

The manager is sweet, did everything in her power to make our stay enjoyable. Great location, and hotel! AC was great too!

No elevator, was just one flight of stairs up, but she said they will have a ground floor unit soon!

The owners were very friendly and welcoming, the room was spacious and clean. AC works great. The location worked well for what I wanted to do. It might be a bit out of the way for people more interested in the attractions, but it's well-connected and close to public transit.

Most of the breakfast options were sweet. I would have preferred to have a less limited selection of savory ingredients, but it was all provided for free, so I can't complain too much. I also had a fridge in my room, so I could have bought my own too.

The property owner was extremely kind, especially when late at night I couldn’t manage to open the digital lock and she woke up to let me in (it was my fault!) Cleanliness and breakfast were my favourite picks. As far as the balance between price and quality is concerned, I was unlucky as it was the “furniture week” in Milan and prices went up everywhere at that time, as confirmed by the lady at the reception. Location is 15 min walk from the train station in a residential area.

Amazing! We were arriving a bit earlier and we let them know in advance, they let us exceptionally come earlier. The room was clean and in the morning the kitchen had Cookies, coffee, tea, Croissants, fruits, juice... You can tell that they put a lot of love and care to everything they do up to every detail.

On the first night the lights were coming in as they didn't have blinders, and we were missing a trash (due to the fact that we entered at 9 am as a favour and they had to clean on a rush). I requested through the app and 5 minutes later they were on the door fixing it. They even blinded the windows so we would not be disturbed by the light. Honestly, amazing service, could not be better.

Friendliness of the owner and the quiet environment. Joys is an extraordinary host that makes you feeling very comfortable. Few minutes walking distance from the train station of Bergamo is extremely convenient. thumbs up, highly recommended
