Very nice, well-run hostel. The free food (pasta, couscous, veggies, oils & spices) was a really lovely, completely unexpected touch. I bought fresh, homemade Genovese pesto across the street and made a great meal one night (and I'm a terrible cook!) Comfortable rooms, friendly guests, nice atmosphere and they keep the hostel very cozy and warm with lots of hot water (in Feb.) I also loved the spacious terrace.

The only space to work remotely was the bar/restaurant or kitchen 'chill out' area which was not very private and could get quite noisy at times. Totally do-able but a designated space would have been great!

Awesome staff, free food in kitchen (potatoes, eggs, veggies, fruit, pasta) excellent kitchen. Large room with large lockers (will fit most bags), a closet, private bathroom, lots of socialization (but quiet in room). Lots of freebies. Comfy beds - flat firm pillows. Cleaning was very good. Bring your own towel or rent.

The wifi in my room, especially my bed(202/A) was abysmal. The signal kept dropping and was often slow. Often it would take 5 or more minutes to connect. They loaned me a portable modem, but it wasn't up to the task. It worked in other areas of the hostel, but not my room. Once it connected, the speed was fine. It just had a problem staying connected. Others in the room didn't have this issue as much.

Great facilities and social activities (such as trivia). Good breakfast selection. The room was very spacious for 6 people.

The location of the hostel isn’t great - it’s very close to the main train station so good for doing day trips but it is a long walk to the centre of Genova (although there is a metro). My bed was in a loft in the room so even though there was air conditioning, it did not reach where I was sleeping and it was very warm at night.

This place was awesome! Here are the reasons: Great atmosphere: A vibrant, youthful environment with a bar, musical instruments, games, books, and a lovely terrace to relax. Convenient amenities: A kitchen available for use, with free pasta, sauces, and spices provided. Excellent location: Close to the train station and the city center. Comfortable room: The room was very cozy and well-equipped.

The gym had some broken equipment. The room is not brand new, and the heater had some issues, but the staff was prompt and helpful in resolving them.

The hostel was so conveniently located near La Gare. The social area was great for meeting people and the bar well stocked. The welcome drink was a nice touch and the 6.90€ breakfast was amazing with lots of variety. All the App key codes were a bit overwhelming but quite cool when they worked.

The 4bed dorm 2x2 room arrangement although a good idea, in practice was not so good since I scored the ‘attic’ room on the sixth floor. Firstly, it was as hot as outdoors and the air con didn’t circulate there. I asked for a fan and that helped a little but it took a good 24 hours to cool down a bit. Secondly, the small stair case was difficult to negotiate with a heavy medium sized suitcase. No lockable lockers on the room entrance floor.

I was very happy to see there was an option to choose a female dormitory with only four beds. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There is a laundry room too and a possibility to iron clothes. For a funny reason I actually needed it. The kitchen is very spacious and the roof terrace is great. Sitting there in the evening either conversing with other travellers or not, you feel welcome and cosy. You get a welcome drink at the check-in and a breakfast coupon if you ordered breakfast. They forgot to give me one but everything sorted out as the staff is friendly.

Close to station; hostel is the perfect hub to visit places like Lake Como, Milan, Porto Fino. There’s a staff culture of generosity, kindness, organisation, fun - all the staff have the same ethic. Very clean. Lovely open kitchen and terrace. Generously, there is always free food available to cook ie healthy vegetables and pasta, eggs, condiments and herbs. A real ‘home away from home’

Everything is perfect - nothing to dislike. Maybe A/C requires an overhaul, that’s all

Safe and secure hostel. 24-hour front desk staff. Very sociable space with activities offered each day/night. Fully stocked kitchen with…..tons of free food!!!!!! Lovely bar with free welcome drink. Ear plugs for noise..needed at the weekend!

Beside train station but not convenient for exploring the rest of the city. Choice of restaurants in immediate location was poor. Side streets are a lonely and I didn’t feel safe exploring on foot, even in the day time, so be vigilant. Stick to the main busier streets.

I really liked everything, the hostel was clearly just renovated and it shows. The rooms are large and smartly built, quite comfortable for a hostel and in comparison to others I’ve been to. I also really liked the common areas: there is a big kitchen, plenty of space to chill and outside (on a cosy terrasse), a bar, a game room and even a gym downstairs. Overall probably one of the best hostels I’ve stayed at. The atmosphere was also fun.

The location was very convenient, the staff nice, there was fully functional kitchen with free food. I enjoyed the activities organized by the hostel. I have gotten free boost from 6 to 4 people room. The temperature in the room was adjustable, which is often not the norm.

In our bathroom the light stopped working and it took about two days to get it replaced. It wasn’t a major bother for me, though.
