Segovia is a very interesting and historic place and the hotel was very central. Our room was comfortable, and although we did not have a view from our room, we were close to a garden area with super views of the Alcazar. Staff were very helpful and recommended a restaurant (El Sitio) within easy walking distance that was very good. Breakfast was good and the bar service fine .

Car parking is difficult in Segovia, but we called the hotel in advance (which was a good idea) and they had a space in their basement car park, which was easy to access. The overnight charge for this was very reasonable and saved a lot of time finding a place to park.

I am not sure if one could find a more central location in Segovia. It is part of the Alcazar and has a garden, with chairs and tables that looks out over the city and has a view of one of the fortresses great towers. Our room was spotless and the beds comfortable. Our room opened up to a tiny courtyard with a statue in it. It was an easy walk to all the tourist highlights in Segovia and lots of options for dining. The breakfast at this hotel was exceptional and economical. There were lots of options for my gluten-free husband: eggs, bacon, sliced meats, cheeses, fresh fruit, yogurt, etc.

This had nothing to do with the hotel, but since we were walking from the bus station, the cobble-stone streets were hard on out wheeled suitcases.

We’d like to thank Hotel Don Felipe for a wonderful stay! The view of the castle from the garden was absolutely exceptional, and the location couldn’t be better – everything in Segovia was within walking distance. The reception staff was very helpful and gave us great recommendations on where to go and what to see.

The room was a bit small for a family of four, but that’s probably to be expected in most places. The price was slightly on the higher side, but considering the location, it seemed fair. Breakfast was standard, nothing special but perfectly fine to start the day.

The location was ideal in the old town almost equally situated between the cathedral and alcázar which were both 5 or 6 minutes walk away. The gardens were a pleasant surprise as was the view of the castle from my bedroom balcony. Parking is limited so it pays to book early although there is ample parking in a public square two minutes away. Breakfast was good, including bacon and egg if wanted, and reasonably priced.

First be aware that many of the streets in old town are narrow with sharp bends and shared with pedestrians. Also, Google maps are not necessarily your friend, having taken me up a calle which narrowed to almost nothing meaning I had to back out with only cms to spare on each side and bends to negotiate. I was fortunate that a young Spaniard took pity on me and helped me to reverse. Whoever you were, muchas Gracias, señor.

I booked room 107 because it had a king bed and a view of the Alcazar. It was very large by European standards and had a jacuzzi as well. It was comfortable and had a desk for working. The room far exceeded my expectations. It was in a quieter area of town but on the main route to the Alcazar. The staff were very friendly and helpful and kept everything VERY clean. The breakfast buffet was very good, with many choices, and very reasonably priced. In any future visits to Segovia, Hotel Don Felipe will be my only choice.

Great little hotel right in the heart of the old town — perfect location for exploring Segovia on foot. The building itself has that classic historic charm, but everything inside is clean and well-kept. The room was on the smaller side, but cozy and comfortable — ideal for a couple of nights. Bonus points for their private parking: it’s tucked away on the lowest level (entrance from a street below), which is super convenient considering how tricky parking can be in old towns. If you're looking for a place with character and great access to everything in Segovia, this is a solid choice.

On a whim, I added one night in Segovia to my itinerary. As usual Booking.com came through with many great options in the old town. I chose this hotel because of its location and the reviews. As I was traveling alone, I was pleased to have the option to get a room with just a twin bed! The hotel is in a perfect location--close to all of the sights--with parking nearby (I suggest dropping a pin when you exit the lot, which I wished I had done the next morning as I was struggling to retrace my steps). The reception desk staff were very friendly and helpful; the breakfast was worth the additional fee. Only comment would be that the room was a little overheated and I couldn't figure out how to change the thermostat--it was cold that night, though, so warmer was better than colder, for sure! Definitely recommend!

The hotel was great, very good location between the main square and the castle. Our room was lovely and comfortable, there was a bath and shower in the bathroom. Breakfast was good, and we had secure parking in an underground garage at the rear of the hotel.

The location is unbeatable, right in the city- old town. The garage is accessible (you need to pre book your parking spot), but easy to enter and exit. Hotel is in a very old building, with lots of character. Rooms are clean and simple, breakfast is good, with enough options. A very nice stay in Segovia. The town is a gem!

We had a room on the roof and it got hot during nightime. But nothing too bad. Shape of room also meant some funny arrangements for the furniture, but for a night only stay, it was perfect

The parking had good access, and was very clean with good height restriction as we were driving a VW Caravelle. The hotel is built into and around a very historic area , this has been done with sympathy and to a very high standard. The rate was very reasonable considering the garage parking (parking in the surrounding is very limited and restricted), the breakfast included and it is situated bang in the middle of beautiful Segovia.

There were no negatives for our stay.
