The location is outstanding, can’t beat it! The city is quite crowded, so it was nice to be able to go back to the hotel and wait for the crowds to die down a bit. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room (the second floor corner one in the photo), the the largest in Europe.

The bed was very hard

It was perfect for us. The front desk people were friendly and professional. Our room was on the second floor (3rd for US people) of the adjacent building. Our room was spacious, very clean, comfortable beds and natural sunlight from the two windows. It overlooked a courtyard, which was very quiet in spite of being so close to a busy, touristy street. It was right by one of the towers at one end of the Charles bridge. The breakfast was in a beautifully decorated room in the main building. Breakfast was buffet style, but they served you the coffee or tea at your table. The breakfast had a variety of the traditional breakfast buffet items, plus many super delicious gourmet items as well, like smoothies, salmon spread, caprese salad, a place to squeezed your own juice, Prosecco, apple strudel and other excellent pastry, homemade jams. It was all very good. The menu for lunch and dinner looked delicious. The person at the reception recommended a couple of restaurants for us to eat, which were delicious. Every night the left a chocolste on our nightstands, and every day they left a special treat for us: a box of chocolates, a magnet, the last night it was a small bottle of sparkling white wine. We liked everything.

This hotel was in an amazing location at the end of Charles Bridge, an easy walk to Old Town Square or on the opposite side, or in the other direction to the main square of Mala Strana (Malostranske Namesti) where we could catch a tram up to Prague Castle and lots of other places. The suite we had (we were given an upgrade) was just lovely, clean and comfortable with good views to start of bridge, bridge tower and quiet surrounding streets. The staff were really friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our breakfast selection of continental and cooked food too. All the wonderful reviews we read for this hotel were spot on and we are so pleased we chose to stay at Hotel Pod Vezi.

We honestly cannot think of anything we didn’t like about this hotel.

Location was fantastic on the Castle side of the river. Very close to Charles Bridge and within walking distance of all tourist attractions. Tucked away from the bustle, the hotel was relaxed and so comfortable. Very quiet at night for a good night’s sleep. Some fantastic restaurants and bars within a short walk. Rooms and decor were spotless, warm rooms, comfortable beds and good shower. Breakfast was superb and we ate in the restaurant for lunch and dinner too….tremendous food, drink and service. Reception staff very helpful and we were able to buy transport tickets at the front desk which was really convenient. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Cannot say enough….our stay was wonderful and we’ll be back.

Nothing….loved everything.

This is a beautiful hotel in a great location. The hotel is immaculate. The staff are wonderful. We loved the little gifts left on our room at night. We are in the restaurant two of our nights, one lunchtime and, of course, for breakfast. The standard of everything served was excellent. The breakfast had some imagination, not just the usual offerings. Being just off the Charles Bridge makes it difficult to beat on location. An outstanding hotel.

The mattress dipped. Time for a new one perhaps?

The location was right next to the Karlsbrücke which is one of the spots you don’t want to miss. We had two rooms in the house next to the main hotel and were very pleased about it because it was comfortable and quiet. Service was outstanding, nice breakfast was included. We had dinner in the restaurant outdoors the night we arrived and food and service were very good here as well. We would have liked to stay longer.

We travelled with a dog and despite of dogs being allowed in the hotel it’s not allowed to bring a dog inside the restaurant. Nevertheless the staff helped us to find a good solution and solved the issue. That really made a difference to us. Very happy!

All in all, a lovely boutique hotel in a great location (very central yet quiet) and truly fantastic service. We stayed for 7 nights, and our entire stay has been pleasant and comfortable. The rooms (at least in the annex, where we stayed) are spacious, very clean and generally well appointed (espresso machine, minibar, safe etc.). Bathrooms are also spacious and immaculately clean. Breakfast is excellent, with a large, attractive selection to suit every taste. The hotel also has a pretty good restaurant, where we enjoyed nice dinners several times Above all, the staff are all extremely kind and helpful, patiently giving directions to various sites, recommending and booking good restaurants and more - all with a smile. Warmly recommended!

I have very few reservations: the stand-alone aircon (like in many small hotels in Prague, situated in very old buildings) is effective but noisy; storage is a bit basic and limited for long stays (but manageable); coffee is adequate but could be improved. These are minor points that don't really overshadow the great qualities of this hotel.

Location was excellent! Within walking distance for absolutely everything (if you like waking it's ideal - we did 1000s of steps daily exploring the city). Food was really good, we had bed and breakfast but also ate here on one of the evenings - we were only here 2 nights but absolutely loved it!!! The staff were fabulous!! So friendly and helpful, they made us feel like VIPs. Would definitely stay here again 100%

Absolutely nothing!! I would stay here again 100% if we ever get the chance to visit Prague again in the future :-)

The hotel is in an excellent location, the staff were very friendly and super helpful with local information. We stayed in the main hotel, the room was large, comfortable and very clean, the bed was quite hard it didn’t bother us but may if you prefer a soft mattress. Mini bar was always kept stocked and little complimentary gifts left which was lovely. We had breakfast included which was good and plentiful. We also ate in the restaurant one evening and the food was excellent as well as the service.

Nothing to dislike!

If you're looking for a hotel, in a great location with friendly professional staff, clean and comfortable room with lovely buffet breakfast included look no further. This hotel is right next to the Charles Bridge, but on the quiter side with lovely restaurants, cafes and bars nearby. Easy walking distance across the bridge to the old town, wenceslas area and the Jewish quarter. There is a metro station 2 min walk away called Malostanska which takes you to the Wenceslas area (Muzeum stop) or Old Town (Mustek or Staromestska stop) all green lines. However all is an easy walk across the Charles Bridge. The castle isn't far from the hotel, also an easy walk. There is also a funicular near by, which will take you up to the tower then there will be a que at the tower to buy a ticket to climb 299 stairs to the top. Once at the top though the views are amazing! Loved this hotel, breakfast was always fresh with someone checking and replacing items frequently, the staff were very good at their jobs, told us loads at checkin and check out we could leave our suitcases in the baggage area. Will definitely book this hotel again.
