On arrival, Nuno, the host, provided us with fresh fruit , water wine, and pastries , much appreciated. Great outdoor space exclusive to guests. Clean and well maintained throughout. Aircon in your room essential in hot July . A refrigerator and bottled water supplied. Great breakfast every day with fresh coffee ,tea, fresh orange juice, and pastries, fresh bread, and cheeses. An assortment of decorative settings changed every day .sole use of the pool, nothing is too much trouble for Nuno, and his wife offers a real Portuguese welcome. There's a barbecue with sink attached for guests use, and the supermarket isn't far away for essentials. Set in the quiet suburban area just out of Tavira, we had bolt taxis for our trips to town in the evening as my partner has trouble walking most journeys cost under 5€.! A wonderful holiday in every way enhanced by great hosts ..ps. the tv has plenty of English programs if you need that type of contact with the world outside . Their cats are great, but not everyone's a feline friend they never bothered us or entered our room .

The suburban setting is very quiet, and it's a 20- 30min walk to the main Tavira restaurants and bars, so if you don't have a car , taxis are a must if you have mobility issues or are elderly like us .

A lovely quiet area close enough to Tavira centre. The space was very clean with comfortable beds. Breakfast was wonderful with Portuguese speciality fruits and pastries/cakes plus usual options plus a generous greeting bottle of wine. The hosts were lovely and forthcoming with offering advice if needed, and there were thoughtful extras like shampoo, plasters and mosquito protection, etc.

A compact but well equipped secure annexe to main house. Sound does transfer. A 20-minute walk to main centre might not suit everyone. Sweet house cats outside, but again maybe not for everyone.

Absolutely superb in every way! Nuno and his wife are the most incredible hosts, exceptionally helpful and kind, and we cannot thank them enough for such an enjoyable stay. The room was perfect with all that one would wish for, plus much more! Complimentary wine, cheese, water, milk, orange juice, such kind touches to make our stay extra special. The room has a TV with English language news channels (including BBC News and Sky News), great WiFi, a comfortable bed, toaster, microwave, fridge, kettle, coffee maker...I could go on and on! The bathroom has a tremendous shower, and wife was absolutely delighted to note that the hair dryer had a diffuser! This is the first time that she has encountered this 'must have' attachment in many years of worldwide travel :) Oh, one of our main concerns when we travel is a quiet room, and Casa Reflexos certainly ticked that box. Indeed, we slept so well, and would have enjoyed a lie in every day if it had not been for the best breakfasts in Portugal being provided! One cannot describe the incredible selection of breakfast items available. My wife is a vegetarian and Nuno and his wife had carefully sourced vegetarian sausages, tofu and much more which made my wife extremely happy. They were at a local bakery first thing to ensure that we had the freshest breads. The menu changed on a daily basis, with many local specialites on the cards. There was always a sumptuous fruit platter with strawberries, sliced oranges, kiwi fruits, dragon fruit...and to top it all off, wonderful home made cakes. We loved to take these away each day to enjoy on our walks through the local countryside. And if you like walking and wildlife, well the location is perfect! Located close to Tavira centre, it is also at the southern end on the route to Santa Luzia, so once you start your walk, you are immediately immersed in bird filled orange groves, with lanes and quiet roads leading you past small traditional small holdings and farms. Perfect!

Nuno and his family were incredibly welcoming. Nuno in particular was such a warm, caring and friendly host. Nothing was too much trouble and I was treated like a special guest throughout. The accommodation is like a self contained annex that comfortably fits a couple. You have a separate entrance and inside you have an incredible amount facilities provided from fridge, cutlery, microwave, tv, ac etc. On arrival I was welcomed with beer, port, cheese, biscuits, fruits etc. which was so wonderful. Breakfast was fit for a king! So much food and drink I can’t even tell you and I was specially catered for as a vegetarian! Outside you have the entire pool to yourself with plenty of seating areas. The neighbourhood is so quiet and secluded. You can walk into Tavira in 30-40 minutes and you can go in the other direction to Santa Liza in 40 minutes by foot also. Oh and how can I not forget you will also have wonderful company of the families 3 lovely cats who greet you all the time with such love!

From our arrival to the morning we left, we had the most incredible time. The room has everything you need and more. Nuno was the most wonderful and thoughtful host. My husband was struggling to find a dentist and Nuno helped us. The breakfasts are delicious and we had leftovers that we had for lunch or took to the beach. We felt looked after but also that we had the place to ourselves. The location is ideal. We have travelled all over the world but this is definitely a memorable place for all the right reasons.

Our own suite attached to the house so we had a pool and garden just to ourselves. The breakfasts were fantastic and beautifully presented. Each morning we had an introduction to various Portuguese meats, fish and cheeses, and then a Portuguese cake which we invariably took away with us. Nuno and Dina were charming hosts who went out of their way to make our holiday a pleasure. Recommendations of restaurants were excellent.

The annexed accommodation had pretty much everything you needed and the hosts were exceptional leaving wine,beer, water fruit and cookies as welcome supplies. Breakfast was something special and the personal touches with homemade cakes and even samosas were memorable. Location was twenty minutes walk from the centre of Tavira or a very short Uber into town. The small but functional pool was a very welcome place to cool off after a day at the beach and the bed was very comfortable with the room also having great air conditioning/

Nothing at all. Some people might be put off by the location on the outskirts of Tavira but it was easily reached.

Our hosts were exceptional - welcoming, helpful and informative. Breakfasts were unbelievable with no words to describe their brilliance. Lovely quiet and peaceful location. Easy 20 minute walk to centre of Tavira, station and supermarket. Great base to explore from by car, train or bus. We went east to the Spanish border on the train for £5 return and then took a ferry over to the Spanish port and had a lovely day out.

Extremely friendly host who was v helpful and also provided some excellent restaurant recommendations. Breakfast was amazing with a great selection of different foods every day which were beautifully presented. Some lovely home made cakes which we were encouraged to take with us for the day. The room was v quiet and comfortable, great mattress and very handy fridge filled with milk, orange juice, water and some snacks. Bread and a welcome bottle of wine too. Spotlessly clean with a nice pool. House was located at the end of a cul de sac so no through traffic and safe and easy parking. Just a 15 minute walk into Tavira or Santa Luzia. This really is a great place to stay.

The owners allowed for much privacy, and often had their blinds closed if we were outside. The owners were so attentive, generous, and kind. When we wanted to grill some fish, they were incredibly helpful and brought us a few useful supplies. It was absolutely fabulous. Parking was easy.
