Absolute bargain price for a 7 night stay, in a fabulous clean cosy caravan (ah caravan holidays, the original glamping for fraction of the price of these pretentious "shepherd huts" you get these days). Flowing with central heating inside, plus an electric fire, full working kitchenette and fresh clean linen. The park attracts a certain demographic, but I didn't mind that as we were fortunate not to have anybody in the caravans next to us, so it was very quiet. At the time of our visit (second week of April 2025), Rhyl was undergoing repairs so we couldn't visit the beach there. But we were using our stay as a base point in North Wales to visit Llandudno, Llangollen, Anglesey, Snowdonia and Portmeirion.

Just a few minor gripes: I couldn't get Internet working on my Macbook laptop - not the paid service nor the free one in reception foyer, despite staff trying to help. I managed using roaming on my phone. The park is situated in a residential estate in Rhyl but it doesn't feel too rough and we were basically driving in and out every day. There was a seagull knocking its beak on our door most days which suggests people usually feed them, partner was annoyed but kids and I found it quite amusing.

We love this place it is now our new go to get away everything was brilliant it's excellent value for money and also in a great location and so much to do for the kids, swimming is included at no extra cost, entertainment is provided by a lovely band who was very good. The drink prices are really far as well as food prices we definitely recommend to all others and 100% will be back in the future my son loves it here he said it was better than any other holiday parks we have been to in the past and he is normally fussy 🤣 so ten out of ten. The staff are also very friendly and attentive to all your needs many thanks for having us we will be back soon 😎😀😎

Staff are friendly and accommodating, especially Dee, who was absolutely amazing. She went above and beyond to make our stay even more enjoyable. We enjoyed all the facilities.

We liked the wide range of facilities available to us... The indoor pool, the outdoor bar, sport's bar, food hut and the outdoor football muga. The location was central to all the local shops and beaches... Prestatyn and Colwyn bay were 15 minutes away and the waterfall was 10 minutes away. A great campsite with friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble for them.

Not that it's a negative, more like constructive criticism that the park can maybe take on board. The entertainment could be more varied rather than being a soloist singer every evening.

The mermaid cafe was good. Everything clean. Pool was clean and safe. Upgraded to lodge with hot tub which was great.

The description of parks on site said there was slides and swings but there wasnt. There was a tiny baby (under 3years) section and then the wooden climbing park, which had a see saw and a roundabout. A park with swings would have been great.

We enjoyed our stay at this location. Friendly staff, lovely swimming pool, and we had lots of opportunities to explore other cities in North Wales. We loved that the location was 6 minutes by car to the seaside, loved the market hall, and all the little shops. We enjoyed staying and playing board games in the caravan when the weather was not good. Lovely walks in the nature reserve and lots of sunsets. We would definetly come back. Thank you

The facilities for children were brilliant .Great idea to have an outdoor bar were the children’s playground is so you can watch them. The staff were all very friendly throughout our stay . Particularly Alysia the glass collector who was lovely with the children and kept the tables clear of glasses .which is a must around young kids .Outdoor seating in the beach huts was fab especially as they have heaters .The cafe was reasonably priced .Night time entertainment was good .The complex was very clean and the areas around the caravans was well maintained .The swimming pool was fantastic .

We were disappointed with the quality of the mattresses .They were really uncomfortable for adults .Matbe a side lamp in living room area as the main lights are very bright .

Beautiful well presented lodge, plenty of room, lovely bedrooms, great location, very peaceful, not to far from club house. jacuzzi to relax in was much welcomed bonus, robes to go with it was even better.

housekeeping needed bit more attention in Kitchen.. considering it’s a deluxe lodge! utensils, plates, cups frying pan needed cleaning before use! especially wine glasses! Also main TV wasn’t responding when pressed remote control.. we took batteries from another remote in the bedroom, and it worked!

Very good atmosphere. Did not feel like UK to be honest, with the great weather as well. Caravan was excellent for being a caravan. Great facilities and heated swimming pool.

Wi fi was non existent. Password we were given for the wi fi was incorrect - this was established about half way through our holiday. By the time it was fixed it didn't matter anymore and even when connected it wasn't working 🤣 staff could have been more welcoming and friendlier at the check in - seemed like it was a chore for them 😂

Very friendly and helpful all the staff members. Good facilities and extra FREE activities were available for kids for example face art and Donkey rides.

While the overall experience was amazing, there are a few areas for improvement. The accommodation would greatly benefit from higher quality bed mattresses for added comfort. Additionally, it would be helpful if basic amenities such as hand soap, toilet paper, and kitchen towels were provided, as these are typically standard in other locations we have visited. Despite these points, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and appreciate the efforts made to ensure a pleasant experience. Thank you!
