Delighted to find this place - a warm welcome from friendly helpful staff, a clean comfy attractive room with everything neat, tidy and working, and a lovely bed. Just what we hoped for! Very handy location just off main road and with a large car park. with tables just outside for enjoying a morning coffee when the sun shines. Not too big, either, so nice almost family atmosphere. Good value. Recommended.

Initially booked a "cozy" room without realising exactly how "cozy" it was! Found it rather claustrophobic for the two us, but the Duty Manager sympathised and transferred us to a proper-size room. Excellent guest relations, and we'll be back next time in the area.

We travelled to Stockport by train, which was over an hour late meaning we didn't arrive at the hotel until nearly midnight. I had messaged them to say about the delay and they were fine. On arrival they upgraded our room, free of charge and the welcome bag with essentials and treats was a lovely touch. This hotel far exceeded our expectations and was immaculately clean. The staff were friendly and very helpful. All in room facilities were great, the bed and pillows were very comfy. Excellent location , will definitely stay again and recommend to others. I can't put into words just how great the staff were, it's clear they take pride in their roles and are there to help your stay perfect.

Very clean fresh friendly staff. Been here a few times now and always welcoming always fresh rooms pure white bedding clean tidy. Always made to feel comfortable nothing is ever a problem. Need anything they are always happy to help very peaceful place to relax. Always a little gift bag on the bed with necessities in case u forgot to bring them. Fresh clean towels good size beds and rooms extra pillows available just over all a great place to stay. Great value for money recommend to anyone if staying in or near Manchester.

Large clean room. Staff very friendly and chatty. Missed breakfast time but they still cooked for us.

Unfortunately owners have closed the bar so had to go out for pre meal drinks

Friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean, comfortable and reasonably spacious. Although the road is fairly busy, we were not bothered by noise and there is plenty of parking, free and on site. Breakfast is pretty minimal "continental", but alright.

We had clearly failed to do enough research, and were disappointed to find that the breakfast was not more substantial, and that the restaurant was closed on the two evenings we were there (Sunday and Monday). However there is a good, if rather lively Indian restaurant, the Chilli Massalla, in easy walking distance.

The rooms are well equipped with a spacious corner desk, wall mounted ironing board, a reasonable TV screen size. the heating appeared to be available 24 hours. There is also a welcome bag. They are happy to refresh tea and milk cartons on request. It's not the cheapest option (but very competitive) for the same price in Stockport I have seen amateurish quality and rooms. I'm in the area for work but have to foot my own bill so I have to take cheaper properties if I can, otherwise I would still be there.

Clean and comfortable and good position for my visit. Only seemed to be one member of staff on duty at any one time but they were cheerful and helpful. Only appeared to be 2-3 guests staying each night. Very quiet. Huge car park with 3 cars in it.

Nice dining area with the tables laid up but the kitchen has been closed for some time with no apparent plan to reopen it. Therefore no breakfast. Also has a cosy bar but don't sell alcohol! Rather expensive for what it is @ £195 for 2 nights just for me.

The breakfast. No bacon and no pork sausages. Just beef sausage. No option for a vegetarian breakfast

The location is around a 15 minute walk from the Stockport station, and I felt relatively safe, even at night. The bedroom and en-suite bathroom is clean and comfy. There isn't a breakfast included, and not a lot of restaurants are open in the morning, but there are some shops around. Lots of amenities included that made the stay extra lovely.

Finding the entrance is quite confusing cause it's a bit hidden to the side, and the entrance facing the road is actually the side entrance. It is located near the park so walking at night does get quite dark.

As always, the hotel staff were warm & welcoming. The room was well presented, clean & quiet. There was an ample supply of tea/coffee/sugar plus soap & shower gel/shampoo in the bathroom. For the last few stays there has been a 'Welcome' bag of other goodies & essentials containing such things as an eye mask, toothbrush, toothpaste & a sewing kit together with some posh biscuits.

Everything was brilliant, I can't say a negative thing about The Wycliffe.
