Great location for what me and my son wanted. The room was perfectly clean and tidy, beds soo comfy. The staff are so attentive and will do their utmost to fulfil your needs .we only planned for one night as we were just having mother and son time, away from home life, shopping, good food and everyone so far has been lovely so we booked a second night 😀

Breakfast, although it's great it's included in your stay (if you've paid for that with some of the rooms) however we both found it to be hard to eat. Sausages were hard as rocks, the bacon left a weird after taste, yogurt was warm as it was just the natural yogurt in a bowl and you just add fruit rather than separate yogurts like some hotels do. This is just our thoughts there were plenty of happy customers

Bed was okay. Pillows great and quilt and sheets lovely but mattress wasn’t too comfy. When one moved the other did. It was a boat feeling

Very clean and well maintained hotel. Spectacularly effective air conditioning which was extremely welcome during the recent heatwave. It made for good nights sleep.

Minor plumbing problem in room 420. The toilet cistern kept ‘filling’ each time after it was flushed as there was a slight and constant leak into the toilet. Probably due to a slightly misaligned valve. I resolved the situation by manipulating the flushing buttons a few times after each flush. It was a minor issue and easily resolved by me so I didn’t report it at the time, however, something to ask your maintenance team to have a look at.

The room was set out nicely with a comfortable sofa and a double bed in the centre of the room. It was also nice to have the desk. The staff were so nice, approachable and helpful.

It would have been nice to have a mirror at the desk as well as the standing mirror, so you could sit down and do your makeup etc, but this is not a must. The only thing we did not like was that the room was quite warm, especially on a night, even though we had the Aircon on low. However when we mentioned this to the staff at reception they accommodated us with a fan which helped a lot.

Second time staying here with very comfortable rooms, friendly staff, great location and a lovely little free breakfast to enjoy the next morning. Great value for money and even have a small bar and lounge area until late if you fancy a couple of drinks before bed. We also had a great view of the city from our room as we were on the top floor as and I always love the Dove toiletries in the bathroom. I also LOVE the showers in this hotel and love how if you forget any specific toiletries (shaving kit, toothbrush, comb, etc) you can ask at reception for these and they have a little stock to help you out with. 10/10 stay, would always recommend.

The ONLY thing I didn't like was the air conditioning system is a bit confusing to use. So I just wish there was a guide that made it a bit easier to use but that's literally the only thing I can think of.

Clean and comfortable. Perfect location for me S I was attending a gig at nearby Band on the Wall. Breakfast offered as part of booking. When I entered the breakfast room a manager approached me to ask if I had any allergies. I said no, but I am vegan. He immediately arranged for vegan sausages to be cooked for me.

One small hiccup - on my second return to my room the key wouldn’t work. I took it to Reception and was told that if it had been close to my phone that could have wiped it. A new key card was provided very quickly, however prominent warnings about keeping them near a phone would be useful.

Great location, blackout curtains meant a good night sleep. Whole place, including my room, was very clean. Nice bathroom with big shower cubicle and good shower pressure. Mattress a bit soft, but very comfortable all the same. Pillows and bedding all good. Lots of choice at breakfast. Great location in the heart of Manchester, on a pedestrianised street. I went mid-week and was not troubled by noise.

Apart from the bathroom, which looked like it has been re-done recently, the decor in the room looked tired - for example the desk had marks and chips on it. But did not really detract from all the positives. Also, description says the room is soundproofed and I am not sure that is true? I could hear people in the corridor, and police sirens from a couple of streets away - albeit faintly and not loud enough to bother me. I am a light sleeper and was not woken by any noise at night, so not a major issue really. Just made me wonder about the soundproofing description

Really pleased that a twin bed room was an option, unlike some other hotel chains. I liked how spacious the room and bathroom was. I am pleased that the shower head was on a hose and not fixed to the wall. I enjoyed the free breakfast and that there were so many hot and cold options. Room temperature was very pleasant and I couldn't really hear outside noise. The shower plug hole was draining very slowly- I spoke to a member of staff and it was sorted really quickly; thank you!!

The seats in the dining area were rather stained and might need to be changed to be an option which is easier to clean.

Super comfy beds and bedding, even a pillow menu lovley room, and bathroom .huge shower .loads of breakfast choices, cereals,pastries,toast, fruit,yoghurt, unlimited drinks, decent buffet style hot breakfast . Friendly ,helpful staff . Convenient location for Manchester Victoria/ printworks/ arena.

Was very busy at breakfast, bir of a struggle to get a seat . Overall room spotless other than tiny bit more attention to detail needed by housekeeping, handprint on bathroom glass door panel, bit of soap scum in shower, shower gel and tissues empty. Could've asked for more though.

The location is wonderful right in the city centre , the hotel is clean and the staff are friendly, the breakfast is very good .

The hotel rooms are too hot during the night and it's hard to sleep when it's so hot , we were put I an accessible room as they didn't have any standard rooms with a double bed , we could hear the people next door and everything they were saying . We asked to move and our choice was to go to a twin room with 2 single beds or upgrade to a premium room . We choose to upgrade and the man behind the counter was very helpful.
