The room was spectacularly good. Very large, very comfortable, very quiet, very well equipped kitchenette with fridge, dishwasher, cooker & toaster. The bathroom was also really great and it was nice to have a balcony with a decent view. The staff were all very polite and helpful.

The only downside of this hotel is the breakfast buffet. The hot buffet only had a few 'cheap' options such as hash browns and baked beans. The sausages were not the best, nor was the bacon. The egg choice was firm scrambled or firm omelette. There were no fried eggs, or mushrooms, or tomatoes, or black pudding etc that are essential features of a 'good' full English IMHO. Also the fancy looking fruit juice machine dispensed juice-flavoured water (concentrate with added water) rather than fresh juice. If this breakfast was served at a Travel Lodge I was say that it was fine, but given how spectacularly good the rest of the hotel was, it really did feel like a major let down.

Best service from Maggie at reception and all the staff who go the extra mile to make customers happy. The rooms are spacious, clean and had everything I needed. Organic teas and sustainable toiletries were a nice touch. Highly recommend!

Pawel was super helpful and friendly when booking us in and further helped us to arrange transport to the arena. The complimentary toiletries were good quality and had a clean and refreshing smell. Room was clean and the bed was so comfortable, giving us a great night's sleep. Despite being close to the busy road, we didn't hear any traffic. There was enough variety for breakfast. The room key was made of wood instead of plastic and the room had a bin to separate recyclable materials. Plenty of parking close by. Right next door to a supermarket.

Only room for improvement in our opinion was that the breakfast area layout was a bit awkward, it didn't provide the most efficient flow of people. The hot tap to make cups of tea, was difficult to use. I couldn't get any boiling water out, so decided to leave my morning cup of tea. Little packs of biscuits would have been a nice addition.

On arrival we were upgraded to both a complimentary early check in and room upgrade! Diviya went above and beyond to make sure we were well informed about the hotel and checked us in efficiently. Our room was lovely and spacious (queen studio) we had everything we needed such as teas, coffee, shower washes etc. The bed was unbelievably comfy and we had the best night sleep ever! The hotel has a 24/7 coffee machine which was fab & at breakfast there was a good variety of food, it remained well stocked and was hot! Would 100% stay here again.

The only downside to our room was that the views from the window was just construction site (no fault of the hotel itself) other than that it is a lovely value for money hotel!!

Really handy location, 10 minute walk from Manchester Piccadilly train station. Slightly out of the centre but within walking distance. The rooms were comfy and had a separate seating area with kitchen appliances. The breakfast was good, but extremely busy. Provided vegan sausages on request. Staff were extremely kind and excellent customer service. The hotel will look after your bags on the checkout day until you are ready to return home.

Marks on walls and some mould in shower, nothing too bad though. Looks like soon in need of a quick refurb. Lots of construction work around, but the rooms were quiet.

The location was very good as we were staying in Manchester for a concert at the co-op centre which we were able to walk from the venue back at the end. The room itself was very spacious and had 2 smart tvs with loads of charging ports. The tea making facilities were great with the bonus of a dishwasher which we didn’t use or the cooking utensils but was good to have

The lifts were a little bit confusing when they would go up when you wanted to go down and sometimes took a bit longer to get between floors but this was very minor only needing to wait a few minutes. The breakfast was busy the first morning of our stay and not being able to have somewhere to sit but it was the bank holiday weekend so was understandably busy.

Lovely room, very comfortable stay. All the staff we met were friendly and welcoming. Well located for easy access to the northern quarter and central Manchester. The enclosed balcony meant we could have the door open and good air circulation round the room which was nice, as it was a warm evening. It was great waking up to a view of the Manchester skyline. The city started waking up at about 6.30am, there was lots going on so probably not for you if you like silence in the morning, but I enjoy listening to the sounds of.the city. The hotel and the room were quiet overnight. We didn't have breakfast as we had booked to go eat out but everything looked great. Would definitely stay again.

We have stayed 3 nights with my 8 y.o son at Residence Inn Manchester Piccadilly. The hotel is excellent with its friendly and welcoming staff. Our room-apartment was large and well divided into bedroom and kitchen/ sitting zones. Breakfast is limited but completely enough ( the option to have full English breakfast and some delicious croissants is great ). Our primary goal was to watch Manchester City game. So, the hotel is just perfectly located: 10-12 min walking from Manchester Piccadilly Station, 30 min walking from Etihad stadium , around 15 min walking from city centre. There is a big Aldi grocery store on the corner. The only thing would make our staying even more better is some compliment bottle water in a room, at least upon arrival. Thank you for feeling at home at Residence Inn Manchester Piccadilly.

The room was spacious and modern, The staff were friendly, upgrades and late checkout added on arrival with only small fee. Extra bedding added promptly Breakfast was good. The location was good. No views, but quiet and only a short walk from rail station, easy to get to anywhere in city centre. Particularly the Northern Quarter, which has many interesting indie shops.

The Wifi connected without a password to one device, then wouldn't connect to others. After staff worked on the issue for a day, password system worked, but our second device (Tablet) still couldn't connect. On the device that connected (phone), wifi connection remained poor for the whole week. Casting to room screens was extremely slow and intermitant. We were offered a discount for this. But on checkout, the staff didn't apply it. and told us that the issue was with our device (which has no connection issues anywhere else). Perhaps better messaging support and front desk staff is needed?

Very polite and helpful staff. Wonderful breakfast. The coffee machine works 24 hours a day, you can drink coffee and tea and this is all a compliment from the hotel. There is a tap with drinking water near the coffee machines, the water from it is simply divine, probably there is a very good filter. The taste of this water is similar to the water I drank a long time ago in my homeland, amazing, it gave me great pleasure! I was very pleased with the availability of separate shampoo and shower gel, hair conditioner, and body cream. Everything is of very high quality. The kitchen electrical appliances in the room are excellent, oven, kettle, and dishwasher. .

I didn't like the fact that due to the design of the building, all the exits from the hotel rooms go to the courtyard, so you have to go outside to get to the elevator or steps every time and it's cold. The second sleeping place on the sofa unfolded into a bed took up almost all the space in the room where the kitchen unit and table for food are located. It is very difficult to maneuver when passing by. In the photos, there was much more space around the unfolded sofa! I would like to have disposable slippers in the hotel room and cotton buds. For breakfast I would add pancakes and an omelette cooked in front of you. Children love them very much.
