I only spent one night and barely had time to use the facilities like the garden or kitchen, and for that is enough. The location is good, near restaurants and bars. I parked in the street nearby.
Due to an event happening during the weekend i stayed in Rennes, the car access to the hotel was restricted. They told me in advance about this, but when i asked the staff at the time i was checking in, if i had parked in a good place he wasn't very helpful. Luckily the next day i got out in time to remove the car, because if not i would get stuck there all day. The shower had a decent size, but the wc and room overall were small. I stayed on the third (and last floor), but there is a lift.

We stayed in the Eucalyptus apartment just around the corner from the main hotel and opposite a fantastic Creperie located in a house that once belonged to a famous mosaic artist Olerico. The room was self catering, modern and bright with an ergonomic layout. Despite being relatively small, it was very comfortable for myself, my sister and my teen son. We were travelling by bicycle, and there was a separate secure garage where we could safely leave our bikes. The location is very central, and it was a pleasant 10 minute walk to the old City centre. The hotel emphasizes operating sustainably which I appreciated. We had the breakfast and I definitely recommend choosing this option. There was an excellent selection, all high quality products and mostly locally sourced. Delicious! I'd definitely return to the Garden Hotel when I visit Rennes again.
It was a warm night when we were there, and the provided duvets were heavier than needed. It would have been nice to have a light sheet on the bed to sleep under instead. But that was a very minor issue.

Extremely friendly and welcoming staff, ready to answer my questions with a smile. I was upgraded to an apartment, which gave me much more space, lovely! Very good breakfast in a space with a little view towards the garden. Enjoyed a lot the fresh fruits.
Minor details : when I arrived, it was a little cold, but then it warmed up in the late evening. Also, the sofa bed was unfolded (which wasn't really useful for me because I was alone), and it took up some space in the room. But it's a minor thing!

This hotel had a cute little garden area and decor that made the place cheery and welcoming. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was quite small, but had a nice big comfortable bed with comfy pillows. The breakfast cost extra, but was very nice. The location was great and within walking distance to many eating places and town sites. Also a very short taxi ride to the train station. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it.
The room was cold (April). The staff reset the heater and it got a little better. The shower gets the whole bathroom wet.

Brilliantly placed midway between the station and the old town, this hotel was friendly and comfortable. Breakfast was consistently good- typical continental with local ingredients. Our bed was large and very comfortable, and the room had plenty of plug sockets.
We had a room at the front, and the night time noise was sometimes intrusive- we like to sleep with the window open.

Great location, nice staff, and the luggage elevator was an unexpected and pleasant surprise. I appreciate the focus on sustainability and wish more hotels would do so.
The beams in the bathroom and over one of the beds were so low that there were some close calls with hitting our heads. We are a tall family used to higher ceilings, so it took some adaptation on our part. Thankfully no one really hurt themselves, but we really had to be careful.

A nice room with entry from the garden side (which did mean we could not fully open windows in the heat lest passers by have full view into the room), friendly personnel, good and varied breakfast.
The entire street in front was broken up during our stay, with loud engines running all day; not something the hotel could do anything about, but slightly annoying nonetheless. Our room facing the patio was sufficiently far away to not be disturbed there.

Amazing location, clean and well furnished rooms. Got upgraded to a suite too which is great 👍 the staff was very friendly and helpful.
The breakfast was good, a bit on the expensive side, but unfortunately many things on the menu weren’t at the buffet when I came there even though I came an hour after it started, they took them out only when I was already leaving.

Vey good hotel in the heart of Rennes. Its small but cozy and clean. Fresh towels and bed linen. Small but cozy rooms. The reception is open till late, maybe 24/7. Very good breakfast. The choice of eggs, pancakes, cheeses and fruits. Very good staff. We are satisfied with our stay there. 5-7 min by walk and you are at the center of the city. Out recommendations 100%
The only downside is parking. The hotel doesnt have enough parking and we parked our car at the city parking recommended by the hotel. Its just 5 min by walk from the hotel. But the cost per day - 35 euro.

The management team went the extra mile to address a heater failure somehow consequence of the flooding that happened the week we were there (February, still winter...). We really appreciate the arrangements they made to keep us warm and happy. Also the location. The hotel is at walking distance of the old city and places.
The hotel doesn't have a bar.
