I enjoyed the large double room & comfy bed on 3rd floor with the big plasma . The breakfast meny is simple & filling & staff is very laid back and it’s ideal as it’s in the centre short walking distance everywhere

The bathroom had a funny smell it’s probably common since it’s older building I put some chlorine in the toilet and it went .

There was picture of elefant on wall. Room was extremely luxurious. Room was well furnished. Bed was really comfortable.

Dividing wall from the grand staircase to the rooms was modern, instead of the elegant older look of the rest of the hotel. It looked a bit out of place.

Traditional Hotel central in the town. Reasonably priced, nice old features preserved. A good breakfast buffet. Friendly and helpful staff.

We had no complaints apart from paying for parking at the hotel, which seemed excessive. And as a destination Hønefoss does not have a lot to offer.

A fantastic comfortable stay.The staff were awesome,great location in a scenic town.We sat in an area outside the back entrance and met a great couple from Norway.Very friendly atmosphere.Sitting room was awesome,where we played a few games!

Old building but my room was renovated and clean. Breakfast was decent and varied enough. Good value for a solo traveler.

Walls were a bit thin and you could easily hear your neighbor.

Neighbours had a loudly fight (across the street) until 01:00 in the night. Made it hard to sleep. Not your fault but perhaps you could have called the poplice or something.

It’s great location.Our room are big with comfortable large double bed size + 1 single bed.We had eat till u drop breakfast buffet,also it supposed to pay for parking but they just let us park for free as well as free car battery for charging.Appreciate for all the great deals <3

The building need some soundproofing & refurbished in order to look new but also retains nostalgia style which is unique;)

Hotel needs to publish the location of the Car parking what is next door albeit to have to pay . £8 for 24 hours.

The location is right in city center, close to train station. Has paid parking possibility. Staff was very helpful. Room sizes were very nice, especially the family room. Beds were comfortable. All rooms were clean. Breakfast was nice too with good options for vegetarian. Wifi was good.

No lift in hotel makes it very difficult to carry your luggage all the way up 3 floors and for elderly people with you. No shower gel in bathroom.

Staff great, cleanliness good, breakfast great.

Shows restaurant food on photos but NO restaurant on site. Parking is not free. Stairs a no no for some people.
