The location and view are fantastic. The hotel is beautiful- especially the lobby/bar/lounge area, a la carte restaurant and the exterior. A very charming place! The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable.

The breakfast was very good, with lots of options. However, they started clearing away whole portions of the buffet well before the specified ending time for breakfast. Also, despite the bathroom being quite large, there were very few hooks/racks for hanging towels, and the shower wall was not long enough, meaning water splashed on other areas of the floor. Also, many guests at the hotel are participating in outdoor activities, such as skiing, and it would be very helpful to have more hanging space for wet outdoor clothes.

The location is excellent if you like to view the whole city. The staff are friendly and approachable despite of the stress of having to accomodate the customers. The breakfast is also superb with a lot of choices from cold to warm foods. Would like to come again without kids 😊

The things i don’t like is walking all the way up to hotel when you decided not to bring the car on strolling the city. Stairs all the way is more comfortable 😂. And also it’s not really 100 percent child friendly when you have small kids but that doesn’t matter. I’m a litle disappointed of the pool that is not public.

Have to pay extra for parking and the pool.

Me and my partner stayed here for 4 days in July, our first visit to Norway and we are so happy we chose this hotel! With beautiful views, amazing & welcoming staff members, absolutely fantastic room (junior suite) with view of Oslo Fjord. I really don’t understand some of the negative reviews it was an almost perfect experience for us. The Buffet was good in the morning, plenty of options with something for everyone. Overall if you want good service, friendly faces, clean and well presented rooms, this is the hotel for you.

Our only negative was when checking out there seemed to be some confusion over payment of items we had chosen from the mini bar in our room, the night prior I had paid for all mini bar items in cash, the receptionist said we hadn’t paid, it took him around 10/15 minutes to find that we had in fact paid. Wasn’t a huge issue but was a little stressful, I was also charged a mystery £14.77 once back in the UK from the hotel.

Our stay at Scandic Holmenkollen Park was splendid. The breakfast and dinner buffets were fabulous, with lots of variety and even a dedicated gluten-free corner. The Superior King, facing Oslo and the fjord had amazing views, with direct sun all day/evening. The gym and pool (pool w/extra fee) facilities were amazing, and the panoramic views over Oslo were breathtaking. We were in Norway during a summer "heat wave", having AC was also a welcome treat! The only challenge was transport, since the train station was closed for renovations — access was mainly by car, bus, or taxi. Still, the setting and atmosphere more than made up for it. The staff in the dining areas, housekeeping and front of house were very helpful. Highly recommend!

The location, far from town was the biggest disadvantage if not travelling with a car, which we didn't have whilst in Oslo, so we had taxis a few times to get to and from town. The standard room (a fair walk from reception) we stayed in unfortunately didn't have any view, just lots of forestry/trees in the back, but kept cool and very private.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The breakfast is good, although if you stay for a longer period of time, there will be no variety. The rooms are clean, the hotel staff is quick to respond and answer messages. The gym in the hotel is great 👍 High-quality equipment and a large space for training

I didn't like the fact that you can bring children to the gym and none of the employees enforces this rule. I felt anxious because the child could be seriously injured while playing with the machines. The hotel is located on a mountain. It offers a great view, but to be very honest, without a car, you need to make some effort to get to the hotel (if you use the bus, the way up takes about 8-10 minutes)

-Great location: surrounded by stunning views and nature, but still easy to get to and from the city centre. -Nice interior: very pretty decor and great atmosphere. -Standard double room exceeded expectations: was roomy, laid out nicely, bed was high quality, huge bathroom. -Breakfast buffet was extensive.

-Room temperature: felt a bit hot without the window open, almost as if the heating was on too high but we couldn't figure out how to adjust it. -Bathroom ventilation: If there was an extractor fan in the bathroom we couldn't tell: the bathroom steamed up very quickly and I found it a bit hard to breathe having a bath.

Overall the property was quite pretty with a very nice lobby area. The location was good for walking and exploring around the ski jump area. It took a bit of effort to get into town but public transportation was quite easy to navigate. The family room was quite large and perfect for 4 of us. Breakfast was excellent.

The property would benefit from new carpet and some garden clean up. Rooms we generally clean though. The location makes it hard to go anywhere but the hotel for food, nothing very walkable. The dinner was either a pricey buffet or a burger for about $28 so we walked to the nearest store one night for food.

The beds were extremely comfortable. Location was probably the best around Oslo, with great views of the city and surrounding areas. Evening buffet meal was great, thought it was a little pricy at first. Realising it was great value for money after we could have 3 courses and still have more if we wanted. Also included full local salmon, as much as you want says it all. Breakfast buffet is probably in the top 3, I have ever seen at any hotel, massive choice, great quality and of course, local salmon!!

The only thing I didn't like, is I didn't have a view from my room. That was probably my fault for not reading which room I booked, I just presumed it had the views from every room. Even though it didn't have a view, the room was comfy, clean and very spacios.

Amazing views, disc golf track and a pond behind the hotel, below the jump tower. You can opt for a walk around the area, lots to see and admire. Our family of four really loved it. Parking is well managed, paid parking in the parking house below the hotel or free parking ca 200m away. Kids receive a free mocktail upon the arrival. The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is delicious. Stayed in the Standard Family room and it was comfortable, spacious, and clean. Would definitely book again.

A bit disappointed that visitors are not allowed to sit outside after 22:30 local time (we were told that it's mainly due to noise as it may bother other visitors). Would have loved to stay out a bit longer as you pay for location and the view.
