I chose this hotel on the eve of my trip to Wiesbaden because I liked the photos here on Booking - and the reality exceeded my expectations. The hotel is in a great location, situated on the street that connects the railway station to the city center - both are within a 10-minute walk. Although the hotel is on the corner of two streets, it was quiet throughout my stay. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel, and many shops and restaurants are within easy walking distance. It is a traditional hotel, the building is from the turn of the 19th and 20th century and there are pictures showing, how it looked decades ago. I had booked a single room but I believe I received an upgrade, as the room was quite spacious, with a double bed. I absolutely loved it - it was bright, clean, and tastefully furnished. It was equipped with a fridge, microwave (!), Nescafé machine, safe, and air conditioning, which was especially welcome during the hot summer days. The Wi-Fi worked flawlessly throughout my stay. The reception staff were all very friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any questions I had. There is also a restaurant in the hotel serving Mediterranean cuisine. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at Star-Apart Hansa Hotel very much and I would certainly choose it again if back to Wiesbaden.

The staff are friendly & welcoming. When we were checking in, they were kind enough to change our room from the 4th floor to the first floor due to the elevator being temporarily out of order. But luckly the elevator was fixed in about 2 hours. Our room had a very comfortable bed & pair of pillows. We were pleasantly surprised that everything in the mini bar was complimentary including the water. I had no time to visit the sauna room but the fitness seemed well equiped. Despite staying for just one night, we loved it and would definitely come back!

The hotel is very well located within a walking distance to the central train station, main sights etc. It offers free sauna and gym and rooms are equipped with various pleasant amenaties such as a coffee machine, a microwave, a fridge and a complimentary in-room bar. The interior is done with the style and flare.

Rooms are on a smaller size which would have been fine if there were a bit less furniture (eg extra chairs), which I kept bumping into (despite being a petite lady). There's an unnecessary threshhold into the bathroom with the sign on the door - mind the step (obviously I saw it too late:) A double bed would have benefitted from a double size mattress rather than 2 single size matresses and 2 duvets on a smaller size.

This is a cute art deco style hotel, located close to the train station, and has a little area for private parking. The rooms were surprisingly big, with comfy beds. What was an extra bonus was that the items in the mini bar were complementary. That was a first! There are also great restaurants close by, and the shops were at walking distance too.

I'm not a fan of showering in the bathtub, and there was only a small screen to prevent the shower water from going everywhere, which was not enough. Other than that, no complaints!

I have stayed here a few times and I like the location… very central and easy to walk everywhere. The staff are great, very friendly people. The restaurant is also great. Great food and friendly staff. I had a great room on the third floor - nice and big and comfortable. The tv reception/internet reception for the TV kept cutting in and out which was a bit frustrating, but it didn’t affect my laptop or mobile phone reception so it could’ve been the tv connection?

This is my hotel of choice every time I travel to Wiesbaden on business: excellent location, stylish hotel interior, pleasant and accommodating staff at the reception, clean and comfortable rooms, free sauna and gym - can't ask for more.

Housekeeping is a bit hit and miss: I never know if and when coffee pods, water or hair products will be replenished (although I tend to forego the housekeeping service). Thankfully, staff at the reception is always helpful and willing to provide whatever the housekeeping staff has missed.

The staff was wonderful and the hotel was lovely. Breakfast was very good, although a bit pricey. Beds were very comfortable, and gratis minibar was a nice surprise. Location was perfect-walking distance from many shops and restaurants.

Although the hotel was advertised as having an elevator to the higher floors, it was necessary to take stairs to get to the elevator and again to get to the room. We were surprised to find that there was no A/C in the rooms. The windows did open wide, but it was a very busy street below, thus quite noisy until late at night.

Great hotel close to the conference centre in Wiesbaden. Everything was good. I attended a conference and needed to work from the room a bit here and there. Internet was fast enough and the hotel was very quiet. Breakfast was lovely. Not a massive spread but everything that was there was of excellent quality. Fresh fruit salad, some cold salads, tasty scrambled eggs and sausages, very good bread choices, home baked cakes, cheeses, charcuterie, all really good quality. The coffee was delicious. Apparently they did some extensive testing before they chose the beans and it showed. Will be back to next year's conference.

I'm a repeat customer so obviously like staying here. The location is right between the Marktplatz and the main train station, so it's a 10 minute walk to either. Staff is always helpful and there is the possibility of parking as well. There is a lift and rooms are well supplied with amenities. The room I stayed in this time had a safe, a mini fridge and a microwave. The Hollywood movie decor adds to the fun and atmosphere.

It can be noisy as it is at the intersection of two city streets and there is currently road construction. There is no air-condition, which I was aware of when booking, so I use a fan so that I can keep the windows closed at night for the quiet. This works well for me but might be an issue during a particular hot spell.

The breakfast was great - usually there's not much of a selection when it comes to vegetarian AND low sugar options, but here there was a lot of salads and grilled vegetables and different cheeses. Staff was really friendly, and of course the location between train station and old town could hardly be better for sightseeing in and around Wiesbaden.
