The location is amazing and the staff were delightful. Breakfasts on the terrace are very special.

This is by far the most expensive hotel I have ever stayed in and the pool was very disappointing. It is salt water with added chlorine and was 32C, i.e. too hot, when we stayed. Swimming in the pool should have been really enjoyable but it was actually unpleasant. Quite a few of the mosaic tiles had fallen off. The pool is badly overdue a major overhaul which is not what I expect given the price we paid.

Was very expensive but faultless service - excellent trained staff cost money. some drink items seemed excessively overpriced. Evening meal in main restaurant the food was a little disappointing but great service and wonderful views. The entertainment seemed very dated and a little depressing at times, but perhaps it was based on legacy and aimed at a different age group. more blues type- or Madeleine Peyroux would be good rather than Liberace style (only my opinion though!)

The buffet breakfast was great and of course the location is beautiful.. All staff are efficient,friendly and helpful. We loved the welcome package. We always enjoy Vladimir and his music.

The only minor disappointment was the eggs at breakfast.. Eggs Benedict and the omelet with gamberi.

We loved everything. Surprised my partner and we both had the most magical time. Our room had a sea view which made it extra special. Every single person working at the hotel is professional, friendly and can’t do enough for you. Loved the location, views, room, staff and, of course, the breakfast. Best ever! The only place to stay when in Portofino.

The Hotel was beautifully decorated and the facilities very special. Breakfast was available either in the Dining Room or on the Terrace which overlooks the bay of Portofino. I was able to swim in the fabulous pool on two out the four days of my four day stay which was great. The staff gave excellent Customer Service and were always very helpful and caring.
