Nethway is half way between being a B&B and being a hotel. The proprietors are on hand, very friendly and helpful. My room was comfortable with a TV, coffee maker etc. When the hotwater finally came through my shower was good. The bar was available all day but no food. It's a short walk to restaurants etc. and a good location for exploring Torquay generally. The outside seating area is well lit in the evening and a nice place to sit out. The pool is a bit chilly for anyone less than hardy. Breakfast was good - served between 8.30 and 9.30 with cereals, full English toats & marmalade/jam etc.

Everything! The property was spotlessly clean and bright. The location is perfect. Our double room was large with a huge comfortable bed and with a super sized balcony and had a beautiful view over the garden, swimming pool and the sea. The bar is well stocked. The pool was warm and clean. Breakfast was included. The owners are wonderful, friendly and could not have done more for us. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Very friendly welcoming staff. Breakfast lovely, and plenty of it. The server was fabulous, so polite and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble.

-The hotel was clean overall but spotted some dust build up in some areas of the room -Some things in the room could do with an upgrade as they seem quite old and falling apart -breakfast was not too impressive, bacon was nice but the rest was a bit… meh

All was good! However I was very disappointed with booking.com for messing up our reservations. Thank goodness the hosts were amazingly kind and thoughtful, they rectified the situation. I must say that we felt like we wanted to stay for another few days. Never felt like that after staying at a hotel and I can assure you we have stayed at several hotels in our time (4 in the last 4 weeks - including those of truly high standards). We had 2 teenagers with us and they are keen to return also.

Hotel was clean, breakfast was good and the bar was well stocked. The owners were very welcoming and friendly.

The chef was on holiday so there were no restaurant facilities in the evening, one of the reasons I chose this hotel so I could eat there.

Very comfy bed , lovely view from balcony, excellent breakfast. Julie and Gary brilliant hosts, good fun. Great ‘Motown Monday’ evening. Bus stop right outside with good service into town. Hope to go back again some day

Disappointed there were no evening meals while we were there, but had some really good meals out. In fairness we didn’t ask about evening meals when we booked. BBQ on ‘Motown Monday’ night was great though. 😁

Nice little hotel, good location close to town, very friendly hosts, car park right outside.

Bed is not very comfortable ,shower and toilet very small apart from that ok

Superb location, lovely proprietors who were very helpful and made us feel at ease. Excellent value for money (two single beds) , I usually go to four/five stars hotels but felt very relaxed and happy at this one which has fewer stars.

For the money, I really could not complain about anything. One of the single beds near the window could do with a better mattress but that is all and I slept like a dream.
