The rooms were clean and functional. Unfortunately no view. We enjoyed the common lounge area, which was welcoming and cosy. The honesty bar is a nice touch. Breakfast was good. Staff were friendly. Would stay again.

We were only recived a message on the day of arrival that the restaurant was closed for dinner (despite it being advertised on the website as being open on Tuesdays). It then became difficult to find a table elsewhere. We were lucky to get an early booking for 5pm at the Atholl House, where we had the best duck leg confit ever!

Breakfast was very good. Room was nicely appointed and there was plenty of room for 2 adults. Car parking was good. "On your honour" bar was pretty cool. Just take what you like, mark it down and pay when you check out.

Cost was higher than normal for similar accommodations in Scotland but everything on Isle of Skye was expensive. Location was not great. Had to drive into village for meals since restaurant on site was only open for breakfast.

Ada and JJ were the most wonderful hosts and I couldn't fault a single thing. When we arrived I was a little apprehensive as dragging my partner 2 hours from civilisation but the second we walked through the door, we just felt like home. The room was beautiful, leaving a little gift and a happy birthday message for my partner in our room made all the difference ❤️ Breakfast was gorgeous! A beautiful table with a view to die for and we loved how delicious and traditional everything was. Compliments to JJ! Their recommendation for The Three Chimneys pop-up at the Talisker Brewery was spot on and felt like royalty! Thank you to you both, it was truly a break away for the soul ❤️

We recently stayed at Hame on Skye and had an outstanding experience. The owners were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome. The dining was exceptional, with a wide variety of delicious options at breakfast and exquisite dishes for dinner. The hotel's location was perfect, offering easy access to major sites while providing a peaceful retreat. The combination of excellent and personal service, amazing food, and a prime location made our stay unforgettable. Highly recommended

Our room „dunvegan“ smelled really weird, like an unwashed body. Just strange BO. It definitely wasnt us,haha. It was there right when we first opened the room. Seemed like someone not-so-hygenic slept in there before and they couldnt get rid of the odor/smell hanging in the air….

Excellent stay, the dinner was really good but very expensive. The room was big and comfortable. We really enjoyed the outdoor deck and the very cosy shared living room! It's a peaceful hotel to stay at during your visit on Skye.

The walls were a little thin between the rooms so we could hear the other rooms talk or move around the room. On one of the nights we stayed, a group of travellers did a lot of noise by running in the halls and being really loud in their rooms.

Warm and well-equipped especially in the centre of this island. It was a great comfort for us to finally relax ourselves after a long day of trip in the storm! Happy to enjoy the hot water and WiFi there. Breakfast was nice. The bed was comfortable. Staff were nice.

The location was far from the centre of island and the route to this place was of no lights so a little difficult to drive there at night. Also, a bit expensive.

This property really did feel like home. They’re common areas are very comforting and accommodating, we loved their honesty bar, and the food was delicious. Lovely place to stay!

The room was very small but I am sure if we payed extra we could have upgraded. Also wish their cancellation policy was better (we had a car emergency and couldn’t make it to the property, tried the cancel the day before but couldn’t so we payed for two nights but stayed for one).

Hame is a wonderful small hotel on a beautiful property with lovely views. The rooms were small, but well appointed and exceptionally clean. The Honesty Bar is a nice touch. A place to sit and relax after a day of hiking and lots of driving! Will come back if we make it back to Skye!

Not one thing. All was great. Even the weather was perfect!

The atmosphere within the hotel was relaxing and the rooms are lovely. The one thing that stood out for me was the staff. The young lady ( can’t remember her name ) from reception / manager was exceptional. She dealt with minor issues very quickly and is a credit to the owners. The views from our breakfast table were unbelievable and the breakfast was exceptional.
