I chose the hotel for location and safe garaging of our motorcycles. Both proved excellent. It is an easy 10 minute stroll along the lakeside from the hotel to the castle entrance to Sirmione. We were given secure underground parking for the motorcycles. The room was comfortable, the bar and service were very good and the outdoor breakfast was a special treat in the 22C heat at 8am in the morning and this was in September.

The hotel rooms are ready for a refurbishment along with the bathrooms. All still functional and comfortable enough, but it is time to spend some money.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. On the positive side, the location is excellent—close to key attractions, restaurants, and shops. The room was spacious and featured a jacuzzi, which was a nice luxury. The bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast selection was impressive, with a wide variety of fresh and tasty options. However, there were several downsides. The staff was not very helpful, and although we were told that parking was included, we ended up being charged for it. The jacuzzi, while enjoyable, made the room quite humid, and the floor became slippery, which felt unsafe. Also, the promised lake view was a bit of a letdown—it was mostly a view of the parking lot, with only a small glimpse of the lake on the horizon. Overall, the hotel has potential, but a few improvements in service and clarity of information would make a big difference.

My family & I really enjoyed our stay at Alevic Hotel. Rooms were exceptionally clean. All staff were extremely friendly & very helpful to us during our stay. Really enjoyed the breakfast, had a good variety each morning & my kids always looked forward to the pancakes. Enjoyed the rooftop pool & had a good variety of cocktails. There is a shop beneath the hotel that has essentials which was very convenient. Both Castle & shuttle bus stop is within a 10 minute walking distance. There was a good variety of restaurants near hotel. I’d highly recommend doing the boat tour around sirmione & also taking the ferry to different parts of the lake.

Great parking provided. Staff on check in and out were wonderful. They brought the car up from garage for us, and loaded suitcases. Room was everything we needed plus extra pillows! Breakfast had everything you could think of to eat and drink. Staff was very friendly. Perfect location to castle and boat ride.

Room view was from 1st floor facing the street /walk way so didn't stay out on balcony very long. (TOO close being viewed by passer bys) If we were higher up, there would be no issue with sitting out on balcony. Not their fault they had no other room on an upper floor for us The only place they really recommended for dinner... had amazing view of the water, but that was all. There were 3 of us sitting for dinner. We each ordered different things to eat. Sadly they were either mediocre or just tasteless! Mine was half eaten.. it tasted like rubber.

So,....hotel is very well located, right at the entrance of the fortress. It is a nice hotel, quite well located in terms of the view from the rooms. The breakfast is good, the terrace where it is served is exceptional. Like many places in Italy, problems with GSM signal, but all in all it's a place to rest. Parking is private, underground, but the area is quite difficult to use for a larger car or SUV

The staff...I can't say they are very friendly. It responds to requests but treats customers with an annoying superiority. The hotel is quite unkempt and unrefurbished. Many areas of it I think should be renovated. However, I think it is one of the better options in this area.

Staff were brilliant. Special mention to the man behind the bar– Benjamin. Those on reception were very helpful and friendly, facilitated my requests and helped surprise my partner during our stay. Solid selection offered at breakfast with friendly smiles from the floor staff. Location was accessible.

Room was a bit dated. Bathroom needs improvement, bathtub was small with and caused frequent pool on the floor. Small couch in the corner of the room was dirty and stained. Few options on tv.

Drinks choice. Breakfast was great. Location ideal.

Some of the hotel was very dated - carpets on stairwells for example. Our room obviously had an old mattress and for some reason had an ant problem (second floor). Some of the room views are miss sold too, missing out the huge car park and hidden views from the roof top pool. We also weren’t made aware of a cycling race the day we were due to checkout, the road was closed from 11am - 1pm. Which resulted in a 2.4km walk to a bus that wasn’t running.

The staff were really exceptional. On arrival, the setting looked worrying, next a car park and on the busy road to the main part of the peninsula. But it wasn't an issue. The place was quiet, the room well insulated, and being just outside the main throng made it ideal. It's just 200mtr from the castle. Couldn't be better.

The bathroom was a bit tired. Some rooms had been updated, but ours wasn't one of them. It was clean and usable, which was the main thing. So when booking, just check so as to not be disappointed..

Great location, lake views, very clean, good breakfast (Gluten Free!), staff helpful. Didn't get a suite as ordered but did get 2 rooms with connecting door which was better.

Parking was very tight underground and chargeable. No restaurant on site, but loads nearby. Noisy cafe underneath the hotel, but closed at 10pm. No sofa in room, so awkward sitting together. Fridge with water on first day only.

Very friendly staff and smooth check in. Parking available, I think it was 20 Euros. Safe parking garage, but you must leave your keys at the front desk. Room was large with nice balcony, although could hear other guests on their balcony late at night. Comfortable, good shower and bathroom with amenities. Robe and slippers provided in the room. Good breakfast included, coffee, juice, pastries, bread, fruit, yoghurt, continental style. Didn't visit the bar/restaurant but it looked nice. Great location to walk in to the town centre, flat walk.
