the pictures on your site are kind of deceiving. the view is not like the pictures but you do get what you pay for. the views are great from the benches below!!!

they had constant work being done to rehab the hotel. the windows should be double paned because our room was up front. they don’t tell you that they don’t have a closet or any place for your luggage. and the kitchen pictures are not available to most rooms.

I enjoyed the modern, "beach boho" style of the rooms, and they were very clean and quite spacious. The beds were super comfortable. I liked the hotel's location: just close enough to downtown Pismo Beach to walk, but far enough to not feel like you're in the touristy area. Great wifi, gas fire pits for guests, and plenty of parking! Most of all, booking the hotel and checking in was easy! Much appreciated after a 6-hour drive to be able to get into my room quickly.

Since I was travelling for work, I would have appreciated a small desk in the room. And the first night I was in room 108, which shares the wall with the staff room and is close to the ice machine. I heard staff going in and out, and guests getting ice late into the evening. The worst part was the constant humming of the ice machine! Other than that, my stay was excellent!

Cottage was clean and well designed. Nice fixtures, new paint, spacious bedrooms. Nice kitchen. Beds were comfortable. Quiet, private, easy free parking and pet friendly. Beautiful ocean views. No noise from neighboring rooms or cottages.

Air conditioners in bedrooms are exceptionally loud. Weather was a little warmer than normal, so would have been nice to use the AC, but it was too loud for sleeping. But, it was nice to have individual cooling in each bedroom.

We stayed in room 117 which had a full kitchen with fridge microwave oven and all dishes. View from our front porch and window inside room was amazing. Overlooking the water and you could see down to the pier. Amazing views. Love this room so much we will definitely be returning. Also bathroom was remolded which was very nice. Private room off by itself. Well it’s attached to two other rooms but very private for a hotel. Loved it very much

The only thing i have to add that would make it even better than it was is too maybe put curtains in the kitchen window. So you are able to have privacy while cooking. At night the hotel next to this one can see right in the window.

The first 3 weeks were perfect , the hotel staff amazing. But somehow I misunderstood the checkout date and was late by an hour and a half checking out and things got ugly fast . I felt terrible as they had guests coming in as well. Someone on the staff team said some mean things and my checkout price was higher than I was quoted or had paid all the prior days … Much higher. I was to receive a 20% off for my stays as I am local and in between houses. They didn’t apply that to my Che out fees at all . I guess because I was late checking out .

The staff primarily the first 95% of my stay was amazing !

The decor is a throwback, which I loved. It felt like stepping back into the 60's. The Moroccon restaurant within walking distance was AMAZING!

I thought I could walk to the beach within a reasonable distance. It's on a cliff. You would have to walk into town. I didn't have enough time. The desk was not 24 hour, but the place next door was very helpful.

Location was perfectly situated near everything. Beautiful ocean view. Very very quiet! Clean! Updated cottage. Convenient parking. Very friendly staff.

Nothing not to like. I seriously had the best stay I've ever had and we have traveled extensively.

Clean and nice. Well taken care of, fulfilled an unique request of getting a room next to the parking lot as my car is popular and expensive, the staff had no questions or complaints abt it, and set me up in a room next to my car. Very good service and vacation overall, I wld come again and keep this hotel in mind going forward.

Small property right by the beach. In downtown Pismo so walkable distance to everything fun. Very gorgeous view. Clean room and bathroom. You can text the lobby.

The key card for my room didn’t work after the first, second, third, fourth, etc… tries. I literally have a video of myself standing at my door for more than a minute and a half trying to get the key card to work. I promise it wasn’t user error. It just chose when it wanted to work. The bathroom was kinda smelly because there’s not much ventilation in there, but it was still clean. Also the blankets smelled like bleach but I guess that means they’re washed so nothing unbearable about that. And at one point I woke up to footsteps of what sounded like somebody trying to sneak onto the deck for my room but when I opened my eyes they stopped, and throughout the early morning they would continue. Haunted or what?
