The complex as a whole. It was beautiful and its still not even finished, the accomodation was beautiful, well laid out and had all you need for a relaxing getaway if you want to stay in and use your lodge facilities we had jacuzzi bath and sauna and even made use of the firepit, the staff were all really friendly and helpful and the fishing was good too.

Our sky lux didnt have an oven and we had taken food to cook meals which then all went to waste, I didnt realise it didnt have an oven when looking at the pictures of the kitchen i just persumed they all had an oven and then the days we were there sunday 4pm to wednesday, the monday and tuesday the restaurants ect are all closed which was majority of our stay as checkout was 10.30am weds, so that was a shame but it will make us book different days when going again later in the week.

We had a great stay, the cabin was very clean & very spacious. Provided us with a travel cot, mattress and sheet which was great for baby. Very happy it was dog & baby friendly. Beautiful views, We had a great stay & have booked to go back very soon as enjoyed it so much. Cabins are lovely and warm even though we couldn’t get the fire to work the radiators did a great job in Feb!

Only things we can think could improve the cabins is to have WiFi so in the evening can enjoy some tv/Netflix. There’s no Phone reception so WiFi would be a great addition. The Sofa’s weren’t very comfy but we made do. The double bed is small & can feel the springs but we still slept ok. There was also no toiletries or hand soap so take some with you but all in all we had a really great stay and are looking forward to going back soon.

The lodge was comfortable and had everything we needed. Hot tub with view over lake was a beautiful setting. The pan Asia restaurant was very quirky and cool. Reasonably priced for the location. The nature lake area and forest was an unexpected surprise. It was a nice stroll with our 5-year-old.

The petting farm was just a few animals in their pens rather than a proper attraction, so a bit over sold. Was located in a lovely forest area so had potential to be much better. No WiFi in the lodge. The biggest bugbear was that we couldn't use the hot tub on the 1st night as it hadn't heated up enough. This sounds like this is standard practice due to the hot tub being drained between guests (obviously the right thing to do!), although disappointing how long they take to heat up. A suggestion for the owners might be to get some rowing boats/ pedalos to go out on the lake as we would have paid for this if it was available!

The park was clean, quiet in a beautiful lakeside setting. Woodlakes restaurant was incredible. Fab food and great service. All the park staff were friendly and helpful. Property was clean and sauna and outdoor bath a treat. Constant hot water was good and heating inside was fab. Excellent parking.

Small tweaks would elevate this property. Hooks on doors for wet towels etc. Enough leisure furniture for 4. We used dining chair for one person - but not ideal (there's space for another small 2 seater sofa or single cushioned chair). Jets on bath not great but we loved the peace of the bath without the jets. We would come back again - so it was just small easy fixes.

The lodge and location was perfect, and the reason we booked this was to have the use of the sauna and outside jacuzzi, unfortunately after reporting the jacuzzi not working Friday on the day of arrival and again Saturday morning, the engineer finally arrived to check it and found that the interface was not working and that parts could not be ordered that day, also that there was no other lodge we could move to. The engineer explained that the reception would not be able to offer anything ie a discount until they had spoken with the manager, we did not hear anything after that and nothing on the day of departure, which was the Sunday, so that was quite disappointing and frustrating.

We stayed in Ash 28 and it was lovely! Can not fault it, the hottub was amazing and having the TV outside was great as we spent the whole weekend in the hottub watching netflix. The cooking facilities were great too, the beds were also really comfy We walked around the lake and saw some of the animals, they had some llamas and goats which were really cute. We also had a meal at the Pan Asia restaurant. The food here was absolutely amazing, we sat in the outside heated pods. It was a quite cold even with the heating on but thats just due to the time of year we went, even with that it was a brilliant meal.

Our only issue was that some of the main LED lights weren’t working outside which was a little disappointing as was the one of the main selling points of Ash 28 for us! We called for maintenance to come and have a look but they were unable to fix it, we weren’t offered a refund or anything but the staff were really apologetic about it.

Loved the view over the lake from the hot tub. Great experience walking around the park and taking in the amazing views of nature and freedom!

Could see that the accommodation hadn’t been used for a little while as there were cob webs around the windows when we opened them, which was right above our heads where we slept. Other than that, it was clean. Just remember to open the windows and wipe the cob webs when cleaning. The Enchanted Forest seemed outdated/abandoned, there are price lists from Winter Wonderland 2022 in the huts. Seems such a shame to let a magical experience go to waste, I hope this gets revived and shines like it clearly once did!

The lodge was cleaned to a high standard, the decor was very modern and a clean design, the kitchen facilities had everything you needed and dishwasher was a nice touch and quite spacious, the only thing lacking was a washing machine and the location was excellent. The hot tub was warm, clean and amazing.

The beds were very uncomfortable and felt like the springs were sticking into your back which made for a very poor nights sleep. Unfortunately there was something wrong with the drains and there was an unholy smell emitting from them which ran throughout the lodge, which was quite nauseating to say the least. Also the lights in the dome were not working upon arrival and we repeatedly requested for them to be fixed but no one ever came to fix them which was disappointing service.

The location and lodge was absolutely beautiful. There were only a couple of downfalls which were the double bed was extremely uncomfortable and we had to use duvets from the small beds to try and make the bed a bit more comfortable, also the saucepans had a small amount of mold in them where they hadn't been cleaned properly. But other than that we could not fault the rest of the lodge and location. We will definitely be back

The pod, hot tub & sauna were lovely & relaxing. The surrounding scenery of lakes & woodlands were beautiful. The staff were friendly & helpful. Onsite food/beverages for most of the week, nice quality & atmosphere.

The electricity went out for a while one morning so some breakfast I was cooking had to be thrown away, which was unfortunate, the staff called out engineers & it was fixed a couple of hours later. It would be nice to have a little play area or swimming pool on site as it's very spacey & I'm sure would be enjoyed. Overall, it is a beautiful site, with multiple options for accommodation, depending on your preferences, whether you want fishing or just a relaxing getaway. I would return. 🙂
