The location of the hotel is ideal for a tourist.

The room facing the Teatison street. There is continuous beeping sound emitted by the pedestrian crossing signal for the benefit of the blind. This can be annoying and can interfere with your sleep, especially during the day. However,my request for a change of room on account of this was readily agreed to by the hotel without any fuss.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Panamericano. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with massive beds that made it hard to get up in the morning. The breakfast buffet was generous, varied, and reliably delicious. The real standout, though, was the staff. Everyone we dealt with was kind, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. Back-of-house staff in particular went out of their way to assist us, and the team was happy to accommodate our very late departure time without fuss. The location was excellent, close to major sights, great restaurants, and the metro. We’d definitely stay here again.

The hotel is very well located and in an area that is right in the midst of good shopping and places to eat. Large variety of coffee shops also located nearby. The was most helpful and they were able to help us with any questions that we had. Room was large and very clean. Breakfast is a lovely buffet with something for everyone. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant one evening and the food was superb and extremely well priced! We were very pleased with everything during our stay. The hotel also got our taxi to the airport when we were leaving and all went well!

Nothing! All went great and we were very pleased. We will stay here again as we are going back to Santiago before flying out.

The location was convenient, within a short distance to the main square in a quiet area; however, it was also a business area and so there were not many restaurants nearby that were open in the evening. Our room was very spacious and comfortable, the shower was great and there were plenty of options for breakfast. The staff at reception were very helpful and kind although those in the dining room were not particularly friendly. There was a large supermarket just a few minutes’ walk away, which was useful.

Although superficially our room seemed clean, on closer inspection it was not. We noticed long hairs on the floor the day we arrived which were still there 4 days later so clearly the room had not been vacuumed or swept during that time. It was not a deal breaker but slightly disappointing.

This place was terrific. The location is excellent, walking distance from most attractions. The room was very comfortable. The free breakfast was the best I ever had. The desk was accomodating. Prices were good too. It even had a good ceiling light. The restaurant had long hours, was reasonably priced, and had good food.

Not many of the employees spoke English, but they tried hard and we managed. There was not much drawer space, but there was a third bed that held the luggage.

Comfortable room with everything we needed. Good breakfast with a variety of items. Great location in the centre and close to bus stop for hop on hop off bus. Staff were very helpful. We cancelled another hotel to stay here upon our return from a 2 night trip to Rapa Nui. The hotel stored our luggage. Would stay here again.

Nothing to do with the hotel but at weekends the choice of restaurants nearby is limited and they close early. We didn’t try the hotel restaurant but at weekends it may be an option.

The Breakfast is a wide good spread. Hotel located in central area, walking distance to Near the busy shopping streets and restaurants. Two Metro stations (Santa Ana and ….) are located nearby at 10 min walk. The hotel staff is mainly Spanish , but anytime , particular staff speaks reasonable English. Staff was helpful in guiding the tourist spots / Package Tours tie-up with Hotel and arranging the Taxis for local trips and Airport. Room is Quite big with good space bathroom.

Some Rooms are very Chill (It was in May 2024) , (in spite of Air Conditioning is at 30 Deg C ) , reason , some outside chill air is having seepage into the room through the Windows. I Identified this and reported the staff, they checked. But as No repair happened, They Obliged for Room Change, and the new allotted room was Ok with warm inside, with proper outside air sealing in windows, now comfortable. But lot time is wasted after check-in due to the staff inspection on the room and room change. The hotel maintenance should re-assess the Windows Air sealing of all the rooms, to avoid discomfort and time loss for the guests for room change.

The location was in the very center of Santiago and within walking distance of many bodegas, restaurants and gift stands, but at night the neighborhood empties out and becomes a "dicey" place to walk around. The room was very large and contained a refrigerator, large TV and only a few English-speaking TV channels.

The surrounding neighborhood at night appeared to be NOT very safe. As noted by another reviewer, "The room facing the Teatison street. Fantastic bed! And the best breakfast buffet of our 3 month South American trip! (There's even champagne!) The room was a generous size with a huge, firm bed. That's rare and very appreciated since my fiance is 6'3". The hotel is located in the heart of downtown Santiago where all the main sights are. Also, the room had USB charging ports. This is great for foreign travelers who might not yet have the local electric plugs. This is thoughtful design. We would have extended our stay, if we had had the time. It's a great place! 10/10

Check in was a little bit awkward as we were told to wait while the front desk seemed to be having personal conversations. Front desk was also not able to arrange or advise on convenient transportation to the nearby ski resort. They insisted on standard high season options that didn't make sense. (So we ended up just using Uber, paying half the price, getting door to door service and leaving on our own schedule with now traffic issues at all.)

A perfect location for our stay. A spacious dining room with a good breakfast. Reception staff were friendly but we did have some communication difficulties

There were no maps available from reception to orientate ourselves upon arrival. Obtaining milk for tea or coffee was impossible even though tea and coffee were available in the room. Although we had especially requested a twin room we made do with the football field size bed instead.
