The hotel is immaculate in terms of cleanliness and its facilities. Our bed was probably the most comfortable we have ever slept in at a hotel. Breakfast was very good with a host of healthy options - a refreshing change from the norm. Access to the gym and excellent spa plus a varied daily program of freely available exercise and health tutorials.

Availability of information about hotel facilities and how to access them on site was poor. We were directed to a QR code which gave a 50 page menu of info and treatments etc. I do not think I have ever stayed at a hotel without an in room information guide.......asking reception for info on everything became laborious and unnecessary......thankfully we did not need to fire escape otherwise we would have perished ! Booking extra sessions eg; yoga was not explained. The in room open plan bathroom/toilet layout contained in open clear (not frosted) glass will not suit everyone. Because of early flight times we were given a breakfast box - this consisted of water, two dry bread rolls, two packaged cakes and a carton of walnuts and almonds !

Straight away I liked the look and feel of the hotel inside and out. It was so fresh, clean, artistic looking and was smelling so lovely all of the time, as they constantly had oil burners lit with candles. When shown to my room, being a solo traveller, I found the view was a little disappointing and I could hear a dog barking (I couldn't hear it when the glass door was closed)...but as I'm a light sleeper, I decided to go to reception to ask if I could be moved. Instantly I was given an upgrade free of any cost to me and the new room was wonderful, with a great view. I was very grateful for the care and support of my concerns. Throughout the week I found the staff to be so friendly (reception, in the gym and at breakfast, cleaners and transfer drivers)...they were very approachable, smiley and tried their best to speak English, which I thought they did brilliantly. Being Welsh and a very chatty person they humoured me and conversed in conversation with me daily. I know others have disliked the glass wall to the bathroom, but being alone I loved it...it made the room brighter and I could see the tv or listen to music whilst in the shower. The rooms were tidied daily...the bathroom floor could look a little dirty at times or I'm unsure if the floor was marked and couldn't be wiped off. I loved the daily bottled water supplied, the fridge and free safe deposit box. I'm the sad one who likes to train on holiday and I found the kit and equipment in the gym to be pretty good...I had no problem creating a good workout each day. The spa I went to once, it was great but to be honest being on my own, I didn't stay in there long or have a treatment either, but others I chatted to said they had a great experience. My trip was only bed and breakfast and I have to say I LOVED the breakfasts...I'm a massive breakfast fan and the options were plentiful and healthy...you won't find a fry-up here, but that's good for me.

There's nothing I can really say that I didn't like. Others moaned about there being no grounds to walk around, but I'm a walker, so I went walking daily to places like Portimao, Praia de Rocha etc...I managed 48 miles in one week, so I'm kind of glad there were no grounds and a reason to push me out to other places exploring.

Massages were fantastic, spa was lovely, not huge but it was never that busy. The room was great and all the staff were friendly. Location was an easy walk to Alvor town and good for driving to portimao too.

Only minor complaint is that the gym equipment seemed poorly chosen and was quite limiting. It would have been great to have a cable machine with adapters but instead there was a fixed in rack with loads of resistance bands and a hand cable machine. Not like it spoiled my stay but if there was someone going with the intent of having proper gym sessions you may have to manage expectations.

I loved the breakfasts options but I hope they become a little more creative with the buffet selections. The women who work in the spa and the clinic were extremely kind and helpful and made me feel comfortable during every appointment especially, Andrea. The location was perfect in terms of getting to the local hotspots and the beach. I love that the property has different activites on their schedule to keep guests focused on their wellness. I took the most amazing naps in this little chair in the spa waiting room and I love that they have a tea room to just relax. It´s important to create common areas for guests when dont want to be in their rooms. The hotel is filled with the smell of essential oils which without any effort put in me in a relaxed mood. Overrall I had the most relaxing and rejeuventating time at Longeveity and my stay there has helped me to fix my sleep schedule so I´m very grateful to have stayed there and will definitely becoming once a year! I came to Alvor to celebrate my birthday and It exceeded my expectations immensly. The hotel left me a delicious chocolate brownie and some champagne with one free treatment in the spa and it really put the cherry on top for my trip. As somene who doesn´t like to celebrate big on my birthdays, Longevity and the town of Alvor made this birthday feel oh so special.

The housekeepers didn´t really do a good job cleaning specifically the floors and it seemed like they were rushing to get the job done rather than doing a good job in the first place. I also didn´t like that there´s no seperation from the toilet and the shower so if you´re sharing a room with someone and they gotta go best believe you are going to smell it when you are showering. Lastly, I think they should install refillable water stations so that guests don´t have to pay for water everytime. Most of the water in the area is bottled and very specific to the region but to keep guests hydrated some filtered tap water would be nice

The breakfast is great, as always, the room is big and cozy and the staff is great. We also spent some time at the gym, which is well equipped.

The SPA needs some attention. We went to this hotel several times before, and this time we found 2 of the 4 Jacuzzis not working, and the Sauna and the Turkish Bath weren't very hot when we went early in the morning.

The whole experience was delightful, and great value for money. Breakfast was a real treat and part of the room cost. Evening meals were delicate, high end cooking, and all the staff were courteous, pleasant and helpful. The Spa facilities were superb.

It’s really wellness and longevity hotel! You can feel(and smell) spa atmosphere just when you enter a hotel. Exceptional breakfast, great coffee, a lot of variety of fruits.

We arrived at 3 p.m., our room was not ready yet, staff said it will take about 10min. We came straight from Lisbon, so we really wanted to leave our bags and take a shower. However, after 15min same man said that we had to wait for a little longer, they will call us as soon as room is ready. We drove to the beach, spend 2 hours there and got a call around 5:30p.m, that our room is finally ready. Another strange situation was with room cleaning, because in 4 days we stayed, the ladies came at different times. Once when we were at breakfast, the other day around 6/7p.m. And they were not changing towels every day, not cleaning a balcony.

The hotel is very well located in Algarve, we booked for more than a week and we could easily travel in the region from this centric point. Also Alvor city center is reachable by foot and is quite nice with many restaurants. The hotel facilities were good, especially the gym which is very well equipped. The sauna as well was really nice, during our period it was not so crowded and we could book at the hours we wanted every day. The breakfast buffet is good and has a lot of choices. The room was nice and spacious. The staff was super friendly. Overall we recommend this hotel, we had a good stay there.

Too few sun beds at the swimming pool, especially when guests are reserving them by placing their towel before breakfast and showing up only at noon.. Also our room was 2nd floor right below the breakfast area, so we woke up every day with the sound of guest pulling the chairs (strong resonance).

The hotel was beautiful and the staff were all so lovely and very helpful. The rooms were cleaned every day with fresh towels given each day, the spa was really lovely and we were provided with robes slippers and extra towels. The breakfast was good, all healthy options.The infinity pool was fab with views over the countryside. A beautiful hotel, well worth the money.

It was a 10 minute walk to the village or 20 minutes if you didn't know the directions, same for the beach, we ended up getting taxis all the time.If you don't mind the walk it's fine but it was too far out for me. The bathroom was all glass with just a see through blind at the shower area, looked lovely but you had no privacy at all.

We appreciated the option for take-away coffee Spa: - We enjoyed it, though it might be too small when the hotel is fully booked

Our stay was top! Just some small remarks that I noticed - The car access is a bit odd/unclear. google maps indicates the access to a closed gate, next to which was another barrier. - The toilet would be nice to be private - it is true that there is a blind available, but is only on one side of the bathroom, so we took turns admiring the view from the balcony from time to time 🫣
