The location was terrific, close to Bun Ratty Castle. Beds comfortable, breakfast was the best of anywhere we stayed. Host and Hostess terrific, welcoming.

The bathroom was really small. My husband is a big man, could hardly turn around. The toilet seat was too close to the handle on the vanity cabinet we bumped our knees. The door could be turned around which would make more room. There weren't enough places to hang 3 wet towels plus a place to put pajamas after taking a shower. There was no place in the shower to put shampoo or soap. Just very awkward which is a shame because it is a nice place to stay. We stayed 2 nights. We tried using the washer and dryer at a local gas station recommended by the host. However the price on both appliances was 2/4 euros higher than listed. We ended up taking our still wet clothes to a Speed Queen gas station by Tesco.

If you are going to the Bunratty Castle then staying here or a B&B off this main road is a must. Especially if you are like my husband and I and you want to enjoy the Bunratty late night banquet. It’s a two minute drive back to the B&B which is a life saver if you’re not a night owl. Wow I sound lame saying that out loud. But all the same, the location is great, the room was comfortable and clean, and the host was sweet and we had a great breakfast the next day.

All the B&Bs in this location have gone up in price since 2020-but I think people are willing to pay the higher prices because it is so close to the castle. Just wishing the B&Bs still had their 2018 prices.

Excellent starting off point for our trip to Ireland! Our cozy room was super clean and comfortable. We had a very friendly welcome from Shane and the next morning during our delicious breakfast, met and got great advice from the lovely Sinead. The Bunratty castle and grounds, gift shop and café were close by and worth a visit. Ate a good meal at Durty Nelly's and listened to wonderful live music at The Creamery where we ate the most amazing bread pudding. Would gladly stay at the Parkview B&B again.

Nothing. Everything was wonderful.

This is a Gem of a B&B just a stones throw from Bunratty Castle. Shane and Sinead are amazing hosts!! Spacious bedrooms and so comfy with all mod-cons in a beautiful setting. It's a home from home with the magic of christmas all around, we were made 100% welcome on arriving and this did not faulter throughout our stay!! Breakfast was wonderful with the very experienced in house chef (Shane) in the kitchen and Sinead (owners) front of house both went above and beyond to make our stay one to remember! Will definitely be back !! It was a family treat that will never be forgotten ! Highly recommended!!

There is absolutely nothing that we did not like during our family stay.

Everything was amazing from the moment we arrived. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The facilities were cosy, tidy and clean and the breakfasts were delicious and freshly cooked. Sinead and Shane O'Brien gave us tips on places to go which made our trip even better as it was our first time visiting this part of Ireland. In the evening we went for dinner and they kindly offered to give us a lift from the B&B to Bunratty Castle and back, as I was wearing high heels! So thoughtful of them. Highly recommend.

This place might just become our all-time favourite in this area. The owners were super welcoming and very kind. The room was clean and bright. The location is just perfect for a day-long visit to Bunratty Folk Park. The breakfast was just so amazing that if anybody wants to experience the true Irish breakfast they should start here as this place's breakfast should be the standard throughout the country.

Me and my cousin stayed in the twin room and I have to say it was just a tad bit too small for us. In fairness, we are larger than your average law-abiding citizen as we are 185cm/6'1" tall and 120kg/264 pounds/18.9 stone. I only mention this as the only problematic part of our stay when we used the toilet. I would suggest removing the storage unit under the sink so larger people can sit down without a problem. ;) Also, it might be a good addition to the house and the services if it has an EV charger. We just fully charged before our arrival, but 1 EV charger could mean a lot for people travelling by an electric car as there are none in the Folk Park's car parking either.

We had a delightful stay at this charming B&B, conveniently located within walking distance of Bunratty Castle. Shane and Sinead were exceptional hosts; they made us feel completely at home from the moment we arrived. My daughter Leia was particularly enamored with everything about our visit. Shane generously offered us a lift to the restaurant where we had our dinner reservations, which was greatly appreciated. The breakfast was superb, offering a wide selection of delicious options. The B&B itself is nestled in a tranquil and picturesque setting, providing a serene escape. Our room was well-appointed with a large, comfortable bed, ensuring a restful night's sleep. We would happily return for another visit!

There were a few minor issues during our stay. The toilet seat in room 2 was not properly mounted, which was a bit of an inconvenience. Additionally, upon check-in, we noticed a few jellybeans on the floor that hadn't been cleaned up, suggesting that the cleaning could be slightly more thorough. We also experienced some persistent issues with the TV signal in our room throughout our stay.

It was perfect. The hosts are so lovely and welcoming. Nothing too much trouble. Their home is quiet, exceptionally clean, and the room really comfortable. We were able to easily walk to Bunratty Castle. Shane even gave us hi-vis jackets and a torch in case we needed it to walk back. The breakfast was superb. And close parking right outside the front door. Highly recommend.

I wished we were staying more than one night. Loved it.

Location just 10 minutes from Shannon Airport. We arrived early and hosts kindly allowed us access to our room before we visited Bunratty Castle. Plenty of accessible power points. Nice quality towels.

Nowhere to place makeup or soap bag in shower room when using…but that seems to be an issue in most b&b’s…where space is limited. We had an early flight which meant we had to checkout before breakfast started. Our hosts gave us a goody bag with juice, cereal bar and apple which was something towards not being able to enjoy their full Irish breakfast.

I was met with a warm welcome from the owners Shane and Sinéad; kindness personified. Lovely big room with tea and coffee making facilities. Lovely freshly cooked breakfast by Shane who is a professional chef and served beautifully by Sinéad. Great guest accommodation in a great location.

I prefer not to have rugs or mats on the bedroom floor as they can be a tripping hazard
