We booked a Superior King room for our 4 night stay. It was a large room, with a comfortable bed, settee and small table and a balcony with a small table with 2 chairs. The hotel has a car park which is covered and gated. We had breakfast on two mornings and opted for the freshly cooked options. We ate in the restaurant as a couple on one night and with some friends on two nights. All of the food was excellent and the service was friendly and helpful. The location is perfect too with a short walk to visit the castle or to go into the city centre with it's shops, bars and restaurants and other sightseeing venues. Only 25 minute walk to/from Thomond Park for Munster Rugby.

The room would have been even better if it had a small fridge.

Great location for us as we was going to a concert at St.Johns Castle,just a short walk away,we had an excellent meal and drinks in the Locke Bar just round the corner and a couple of drinks in hotel bar,all good there too,breakfast was fresh cooked with plenty of options for vegans,vegetarian etc with fruit,yogurt etc etc,staff were very friendly to us,from the knowledgeable young lady at reception to the servers in the morning and bar staff,hotel although a little expensive for one night was probably one of the best modern hotels we’ve stayed in,the room was very big,clean with great facilities,view was great too looking over the river,our car was safe too in a secure carpark under the hotel,bit small so you may not get in all the time but there is a small carpark outside,we managed to get parked fine,would we stay again,a definite yes

The room was spacious, and comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful between the buffet and the menu. The location was excellent, so close to the city centre. The staff were very helpful. Without hesitiation, I would stay here again.

There were only minor issues, such as no glasses available in the room, these could be borrowed from the bar. Also, being so close to the river (beside it), there was an usual smell permeating the hotel for small periods of the stay. I was assured by the maintenance staff that this was due to atmospherics, and nothing to do with air conditioning or problems with the hotel.

When we arrived we were taking aback by an stationary ambulance outside the entrance, however the warm greeting we received from the front of house team was awesome 👌 as Molly greeted us with her smile and caring persona we knew we were in safe hands, our room was warm and inviting 😀 only one observation of the wet room having a shower with no screen is not good the entire bathroom floor was soaking wet I had to use a towel to dry it off, our experience with Harry's on the hill was sublime, staff were very polite friendly and very attentive the food was excellent 😀 hats off to the kitchen team brilliant and professional 😀 overall a fantastic stay at the absolute hotel, Absolute care on the canal 10/11.THANK YOU.

Beautiful hotel with fabulous rooms and the most comfortable mattress I’ve ever slept on. Blackout curtains, easy-to-use climate control, a large TV with a fireplace screensaver, and accessible HDMI/USB ports made the room feel like home. The breakfast menu was extensive and varied, and all the staff were lovely. While parking is limited, we were lucky to have free, secure parking for our entire stay—a rare find in a city hotel. The location is perfect, just minutes from shopping, pubs, and attractions. Overall, a fantastic hotel I’d highly recommend and would definitely stay in again when in Limerick.

The frosted glass door to the bathroom was a little disconcerting.

Everything we needed was available, the staff we so pleasant and very accommodating. The facilities are great, especially the salon. The bar and restaurant are great for meeting up with people ,the location is so accessible, as the city center is just a walk away, so you have the choice of dining in or out and finding activities during the day. Price is reasonable and I would stay here again.

I do recommend an extension lead for your phone as there doesn't seem to be outlets by the bed. Not a complaint just a suggestion.

Big room with town and mountain view.. No fridge upon arrival but you can order one.. Very good isolated room, no noises. Great mattress Little gym near the Lobby Vicinity of the river for running. 10 minutes walk downtown Linerick. Pub "the Locke" with fantastic food in 5 minutes walk. Great bar and restaurant in the hotel Twice we found no more empty space in the hotel parking, but there is a free parking lot in front of the hotel. Great stay!

No fridge but they bring a small fridge when you ask the reception Nothing to complain about!

For modern hotel, it was fine and its location to the downtown is excellent. Cian the manager was extremely helpful when our safe wouldn’t work and then when the deadbolt locked us in and he came up and helped us with that. Also, he gave us the breakfast for free because of the little problem with the deadbolt, which was very great of him. The breakfast was excellent. Also loved the coffee. We love the river flowing right by the hotel and you could see out the breakfast area to the bridge.

I had a wonderful stay at the Absolut Hotel. From the seamless check-in to the exceptional dining experience, everything was perfect. The staff were attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious. The birthday chocolate on the dessert was a lovely touch that made the evening even more special. The bedroom was spacious and luxurious, far exceeding my expectations. It was incredibly comfortable and relaxing. Without a doubt, this is one of my top favourite hotels in Limerick. I left feeling refreshed and energized.

Like: on the third floor; very clean room and bathroom; outside balcony that we can stand or sit out on - small table and 2 chairs; one wall is floor to ceiling windows - a glass door that goes to balcony; can have door open for fresh air; liquid shampoo and hand soap provided - nice scents; large soft towels; 4 pillows on the bed; mattress was very comfortable; coffee maker in room with coffee and tea - glass mugs and 'to go' cups provided; hot water and strong water pressure in the shower; towels are large and soft; electrical outlets for 3 different countries; a couch for sitting; a built-in bench to set luggage on; hangars provided; ice maker in the hallway and ice bucket in the room; we can see an old wall and a church tower from our balcony; water bottle refill provided on ground floor

Don't like: water cups in bathroom are plastic - not glass; shampoo and body wash are not in reusable containers; the 'double' bed is just 2 twin beds pushed together - one side was higher than the other; our room faces a busy street; the main view from our room is a building; lack of communication between front desk and room help: we asked that our balcony table be wiped down and that didn't happen, we asked for no change of towels and we got more towels
