The staff were superb, very friendly and helpful. We had drinks before dinner and after looking at the menu decided to stay for dinner. There was a large party dining there and the staff asked if we wouldn't mind reserving our table till later on as it would be quieter then., this we did. We had dinner at the allotted time and were not hurried even though it was almost time for the kitchen to close. The food was good and portions were ample. The room was well equipped and very clean with a full sized bath as well as a shower. Breakfast was buffet style but had everything you could wish for including full English. I would certainly have no hesitation in staying here again. A big thumbs up to everyone at Kegworth we enjoyed our experience immensely.

The bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in . I used to think the premier inn beds were good and that there was no comparison but the beds at Kegworth Hotel totally surpass that . So comfy ,crisp clean . I loved the fact that as I arrived in the room there was already in place a strong powerful fan that made such a difference to my comfort . The staff were very attentive and professional. Some great facilities in the Hotel Very quiet and peaceful nights sleep . Plenty of parking and I was able to park where I could see my car from the bedroom window.. In the words of Arnold ..."I'll be back " !

The outside car park and general entrance into the Hotel could do with a bit of weeding and strimming . It all looks a bit tired on first impressions. The main front door would benefit from a daily managed cleaning system .

Beds really uncomfortable as only bottom sheet straight onto mattress. No mattress cover which I think is very unhygienic as well.

Size of the room was great breakfast selection pretty good and bed size was good

Pillows very flat , would of prefect sofa instead of a extra bed in room as it was a double bed room for me and my partner, shower was bath over shower which I prefer just a walk in shower,The thing I disliked more than anything is that the breakfast room doubles up as a waitting area for the conference rooms and as I can accept it is a hotel/conference room. Center area was occupied by school children which, when you wake up in the morning and want your breakfast, I would like to have it quietly & that wasn’t possible, unless you were to come and have your breakfast at around 830 which then at that time there was not as much choice for breakfast items had we came and eaten earlier in the morning?

Pleasantly surprised given the current rating on booking.com. I booked due to closeness to the airport for an early flight with a good price. Although a dated appearance through reception and corridors, the room was more modernised, clean and spacious with good facilities. The food choices were much better, fresher and enjoyable than at chain hotels we've stayed at pre flights. It is close to the airport and parking was free. We will definitely use again.

The bathroom is still a little dated and had some damaged tiles, but the shower was powerful and all clean with good towels. For the price, it was no great issue.

Room and bathroom very clean and spacious. Good size TV. Good size mugs for drinks in the room... excellent! Bedding crisp, clean and white. Excellent parking on site. Good location for our visit to Donington.

Reception staff very efficient, but not at all welcoming. Very terse, blunt and unwelcoming. Entrance area not welcoming. Tatty, grubby sofas. Grotty view from window of a neglected flooded, flat roof. Very noisy. Can hear a lot of noise from corridor and surrounding rooms. Restaurant menu very basic. Not many fresh, healthy options.

I was immediately greeted by the duty manager who was very friendly and welcoming. I am accustomed to the Travelodge but Kegworth provided better value for money and an exceptionally lovely, cosy and comfortable double room. Everything including the bathroom was spotlessly clean and they have a brand of body wash which didn't melt off my skin or smell like hospital disinfectant *cough* *Travelodge*. My car was parked safely right outside and for free (something not all hotels offer without an extra charge). I was well fed at breakfast and I slept very comfortably. Thank you.

Staff were super friendly especially night reception guy. Good location for airport. lots of Parking available for car parking. Great stay overall only a few minor improvements below..................

Better advertising of food and bar services available. Added attention to décor and aesthetics. Maybe having a mini fridge available. Room door spyhole had been removed and filled in with tissue.........

Everything was fabulous, the welcoming, the cleanliness, the room size, the cost, the staff - especially the night time receptionist - I believe his name was James, he was fantastic to us and all the other guests that required help at anytime of night.

There was nothing bad about the property - from getting there early in the morning for Download to leaving on the Sunday, thankyou so much also for looking after my car keys while we attended the festival so I did not lose these at the event.

One young man very hard working in the kitchen area. Polite and helpful.The hotel is very close to where we were going. It is easy to get to from the motorway. Beds were large and comfortable.

Toilet (chain) handle extremely difficult to use( broken?) Water from the sink tap bounced straight out onto the floor. We stayed here about 7 years ago. It is not as 'smart' as it was. Are all of the disabled car spaces now used to charge electric cars? The car park entrance very shabby.
